Wow, what a busy week :)

Not only personally but also here at the GA News Blog!

I won't bore you with my week although it was Tony the Tiger, Greeeeeeeeeeat! But shall we start off will US Thanksgiving week in the US of A. I'm sure with everything going on in our world's, day to day, and week to week, there is a few things that if we look at our own lives and leave out the rest, there is a lot to be thankful for. Although I'm not 'merican, I'm personally glad that I have GA to come to day to day if I want and see what is going on with people that I honestly do want to learn a bit more about. I'm happy for my family, friends and on most days, glad that I have a job. Realizing others may not have that, it makes you think of even the smallest things can make a difference.

So if you are 'mercian or not, tell me at least one thing that you're thankful for this year? Let's get a long chain of answers on this week's question!

Now, we did have a really busy week this week at the GA News Blog, as mentioned, so let's get the show on the road.

Monday was a great day to kick off the week with a review from our newest member from the Review Team, W_L:

Tuesday, our fearless leader put out a blog on a Deep Dive:

Then it was a surprise on Wednesday for our Review Team to be thanked:

Thursday was quite a exciting day. Not only for a new writing event, but also for reflection on what we call could do for Carlos Hazday:

Now if you are thinking to yourselves that this is enough in one week, you are wrong :P

So not including Sunday, we had six days in this week. That meant six blogs including this great article from Comicality. It is kind of scary :P:

What would a wrap up be without looking back on all the Words of the Day we had:

muskmelon, mastiff, ravish, dichotomy, nocturnal, pejoration, spermatozoon

Upcoming Writing Events

I'm with Bill.  Enquiring minds want to know :P

I am thankful for my family, and that I've gotten to see so much of my brother and nieces and nephew this year. I'm thankful for GA and the friends I have made here.  I'm also thankful to have a job I love and a great (ooops, I mean grrrrrreeeeaaattt!) supervisor and co-workers.  I've had some awesome opportunities this year with traveling to see friends and being recognized at work.  I'm really looking forward to having four days off this week!

Not to be redundant, but I'm thankful for a lot of the same things as Bill and Val. Family being the most important thing. I'm also thankful for my health. Getting up there in years, things often start falling apart. Knock wood, at 63 I'm still pretty healthy and feel like I'm 50. Except for after doing yard work, then I feel 80 😃

I'm especially thankful for finding GA and all the grrrrrreeeeaaattt people here. I've always been somewhat of a loner, and recently, aside from the wife and son, I hardly ever see anyone else. You've all made me feel welcome with your likes, comments, and even advice.

Happy Turkey Everybody!!
