I always like to be camping at this time of year, so you can have a fire going late into the night after a long day of fun! Never seen that movie

I have to admit Krista is getting much better at closing stories out. Not many years ago I would mention something about loose ends, she would throw a tantrum kicking and screaming, threatening my life and calling me every name in the book. Oh wait, that is every night that we talk on Skype But in truth, she has developed her closing skills by quite a bit over the years.

I was thinking of skipping the Wrap Up this weekend as I don't know if anyone is around ? I mean it is the May long weekend down in the US of A and it is the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations in the UK. BTW, do you Brits call every long weekend a bank holiday? Not sure how that works. Here in Canada we had our long weekend the week before. Where in my neck of the woods it would be better to wait another week so we don't get snow Yes, snow. Actually up until about 10-12 years ago, I used to make the trek with friends to the Rockies to go camping for the May long weekend, and we would bet on what day we would wake up in the morning to find everything covered in snow. I like to think that I learned for the last 10-12 years as I've not gone camping in them. Just took about 20 years to figure it out . In the end it doesn't matter if you are around or not, we do show up to the do the GA Blogs where there is never a holiday on our calendar . You have an itch, but you can't really put you finger on it to decide what is causing it. Is it a rash, is it a urge, is it you're missing something? How do you figure it out and satisfy it? Note: if you choose a sexual itch, I guess you could say it is a rash, an urge and missing it

I still struggle with this to be honest. But as you put it, if preceded by a possessive pronoun, it actually makes sense. Thanks for simplifying it for me Val Another one I struggle with, and anyone who reads the weekly wrap up probably knows and are just too nice to point out, when do you capitalize a group or not? Such as, is it Authors or authors? Are we talking about Poets or poets? And then another one I use is Readers or readers (but I always know to spell @Reader1810 with a capital ). Any simple tricks on these ones? I usually capitalize them as for some reason I think that it is giving more respect to the group, but probably has no reality to it at all.

OMG, I meant the Grammar Guide and somehow type @Graeme's name instead. I'll have to check with his family if he does indeed come with a guide .

I really enjoyed your story, Jacob. As @Valkyrie revealed, I do live in Calgary and haven't missed one since the first year of Covid, in 43 years . I really hope you do have good memories of your trip, and glad that you shared so much with us in the interview. One of the best interviews in a while for the in depth thought and consideration of the questions. As for Calgary, I'm sure it is like any other large city, there will always be 1 or 2 people that don't like it, but the likes definitely outweigh the dislikes Hope you are in the likes. Maybe you can pop up here again during the Stampede and have some good memories and create some great new ones . Time it with Val and @Headstall and we will make it one hell of a hootenanny .

Your comment got me to thinking. Didn't Cindy have no say in the discipline of any of the students when Welker informed her that she was a temporary substitute teacher, and that her credentials were not up to date I can't remember totally. So that got me to wonder, when Luke was in the church school, was one of his teachers Cindy? I mean it would fit in with her personality. Controlling and exerting her power over the students. I hope she has learned that is not acceptable in a public school with a principle (ironically attends the same church), a PTA, and a school board too. Or has she learned?

I think I'm going to start out today wrap up with a question for you all Are you superstitious? This past Friday was Friday the 13th Did anything untoward happen to you? My Calgary Flames (Yaaaaaay) lost the other night and tonight will be playing the deciding 7th game in their series with the Dallas Stars (Boooooo ) Thing is, I wore a jersey for game 5 that they won, and wore the same one for game 6 and lost, so if I was a superstitious person, what should I wear tonight? What a week it has been! We had May 1st, 4th and 5th all wrapped within the week! So before I get into N'Sync (as I was so rudely corrected about), May the Force, and Cinco De Mayo, I want to announce that spring has finally showed it's face where I live. The trees are budding, the flowers are popping up out of the ground, the bunnies are hopping around, the skunks are tooting . Also rain predicted for the rest of the week. Well, it is nice to finally catch up to most of you in the North America.
