    Oh this does look interesting! I loved the Hardy Boys books growing up. Shaun Cassidy was my first true love

    I've fallen down that rabbit hole myself I've watched a lot of videos of people trying food/snacks from different cultures and reacting to it. Watching people from other countries react to some of our 'reality' shows is pretty funny too.

    Wind hurled large raindrops angrily against the house, causing Jeremiah to wonder if the rain had solidified into hail. The weather forecast had called for rain overnight, but this was hours ahead of schedule, and it had mentioned nothing of gale-force wind or thunder and lightning. Stupid weather people.     I'm obsessed with street food videos, particularly those from India and Pakistan. There's something about watching the food being prepared that I find very soothing. It's also a great insight into the country and culture. My favorite channel is a guy from Singapore who travels to a lot of Asian countries to film their street food.

    I really enjoyed this. You did a great job describing the house. I really liked how the protagonist connected with Mrs. Wiler, even though she's long gone. Naming the dog after her was perfect.

    Wayne's prompts inspired me to start writing on GA, and I have three collections of prompt responses in my story list. The first prompt I posted was a story about a little girl finding a 'kitty' and the subsequent consequences. Both Penguin and Alex's Legacy were inspired by prompt responses. Those are two of my favorites, as is the one I wrote about the zombie apocalypse. It's really hard to choose a favorite, but I had a lot of fun writing my response to Prompt 310 - https://gayauthors.org/story/valkyrie/2014promptresponses/8 Even though I've slowed way down on writing prompt responses, I looked forward to them every Friday. Wayne has left us a treasure trove of inspiration.
