I had a nice dinner with my mom tonight. She made a roast chicken and I had veggie fries while she had stuffing. She made a nice gravy to go with the chicken, so I doused my fries in it. Yum! It's supposed to drop into the teens tonight and then we get a blast of snow tomorrow into Saturday. After that, we'll start warming up with temps in the 60s a week from now.

I love how Gus wanted Rick to take him home. Great ending to a suspenseful chapter! You have me wondering who paused when they were at the intersection. I have a feeling Rick is going to have to openly face his sexuality.

There's a little less than a month left before the submission deadline. I have a story in progress for it. Who else is working on one?

It's been a bit of a busy week here. I had my taxes done on Monday and am thankfully getting a refund. I was worried I'd end up owing this year. I would have, if they'd counted my entire 401k withdrawal, but I can split it out over three years. I may end up owing the next two years, but at least now I can plan for it. And hopefully my work situation will be better then. The contractor came today to finish the work on my basement wall. They dug pretty deep in the corner with the big crack in it and filled it in with concrete. I've also been working more on organizing my shelves and sales horses. I'm going to my mom's house for dinner tomorrow night. The weather is beautiful here today. Temps are in the mid 40s and it's nice and sunny out. A lot of the snow has melted, which is great news for the basement.

Now I'm curious about how roasted acorns taste I can't see Cyn doing well for even a couple of days without Shea. I have a feeling he'll end up going along with them. That will be interesting! I bet deer make good trackers, since they're always on the lookout for predators.

2021 isn't starting out much better

Thank goodness the beta is loyal. I'm sure Eike has heard the rumors too and I bet it's only a matter of time before he tries making another move on Cyn.

I started reading this last night and hope to finish by the discussion day. I'm enjoying it so far.

I really enjoy the variety of daily blog posts. Thank you to everyone who contributes. I like seeing the progress featured. Otherwise, I forget it's there and don't think to look for it.
