    We have a winner for Fat Bear Week. This bear came in Second the past 2 years. The bear, Chunk. Not bad for a bear with a broken jaw. According to Bing, Yosemite National Park turns 135 years old. Today is National "Jiffy" Mix Day. The only mix I remember is Corn Bread. Something not done much anymore is Walk To School Day. If you consider it a snack, Pumpkin Seeds will be available. It's also National Coffee With A Cop Day. Since it's October, it's also National Fire Pup Day.

    I drink 3 cups of coffee a day, 2 decaf and 1 regular coffee. I prefer it with a flavored creamer to cover up the taste. Today is National AI in Work Day. It's also Orange Shirt Day. We find it's also National Love People Day and National Mud Pack Day. Bing says it's International Podcast Day. Finally, at the end of the day, we'll enjoy some Hot Mulled Cider.
