    Chapter 13

Not that quick! We have to meet first!

    Chapter 13

I'm there with you as far as grandchildren go! However, I do love a clean house - I clean wherever I am too (my sister's or my son's houses, that is). And, believe it or not, I like washing dishes and doing laundry!

    Chapter 13

Fascinating chapter - the setup to more intrigue. Keep 'em coming, Mike Arram!

    Chapter 11

Well done, Mike Arram, well done!! I am loving the spacing of the release of chapters, though I could read straight through...

    Chapter 10

Ah, now we get into the intrigue that will allow Terry to do his thing!. And the lawsuit to follow will lead to salivation!

    Chapter 10

It would be just if Jerry was the one to notice...

    Chapter 8

OF course I love the warm romance. Yet, the cynic in me still rears up to believe that all this only happens to such young people, that those in their 40's are considered old and graying (Please: I didn't start getting gray until my 60's! - and still not fully gray or white haired at 71!), that such young people can be so precocious in business, government, etc. Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I truly am enchanted with these tales and look forward to each chapter! Great job, Mike Arram!

    Chapter 7

Mike Arram, I love this latest addition to the Rothenian Tales. How often will you publish chapters?

    Chapter 7

I actually find Phil's actions funny! Why? Because both Karen and Alistair were intent on humiliating Phil. Now he knows why Karen was not truly intimate with him - she probably felt trapped too but did not know how to let him know. When he gets home, it will be quite interesting!
  10. I have a feeling something is going to hit the fan fairly soon......

    Christmas Eve

I view Singer as an ancillary volume - not directly a CJ volume, but a wonderful side note. You're not getting off the hook for this, lol! Your talent is too valuable!!!

    Christmas Eve

I am going to enjoy the vicarious vacation in Australia. I love the family dynamics. Of course, there will be some bumps in the road...that's what adds to the dynamics. Thanks, Carlos, for another volume in the CJ series! By my count, only 24 more to go!
  13. This is a wonderful story which challenges faith and organized religion. It is both entertaining and thought provoking, a story which appeals to our intellect as well as our emotion.

  14. If someone is against the judgment done by Hilda, then, rather than dismissing her as a "cow", someone better than others, etc. (all of which might well aptly describe her, but are nonetheless judgmental), then judging her only serves to make one equal to her rather than offering her the opportunity to confront her limited vision. This is a Christian church: it should be marked by whom it includes rather than whom it excludes. Otherwise, it is not truly striving to do as the teacher did in both words and deeds. This is a wonderful and thought provoking story as evidenced through all the wonderful comments. Thanks for offering this for our enjoyment!

    Chapter 48

I am so glad you showed both the "ugly American" and the beautiful Americans. It is true that there are idiots who have money to travel and spread their stupidity. Glad to see she will reap the benefits of her foul mouth! I continue to love this story!!!
  18. I love the idealistic yet realistic country of Rothenia! Would that it actually existed!! In this entire series, the power of love to bring out the best in people is a constant theme. This story shows that while no society is perfect - each has its flaws, politics, as well as triumphs - when a society yields to the core values based on the essential goodness of people united by love of country and its peoples, there exists a power which is felt by all who experience it. Mike Arram has constructed a series of stories which not only entertain, but emphasize the power of love. Thank you!

    The Winner

It's like eating a good meal - one always wants just a little more of a good thing and is reluctant to say "enough". Your writing is that good!

    The Winner

As much as I would have liked to hear the final results, I actually like the kick in the gut you finished with! No, I'm not a masochist nor into pain - but another few words would have made a tidy little ending. You certainly did a fine job with this format. Now on to longer chapters once again! Tony

    Last Dance

Very nice pre-Thanksgiving gift. Felt as though I was in the wings watching this performance. Great job, Carlos. Tony

    Chapter 46

I thoroughly enjoy your writing. What I was referring to is the change of fonts/sizes - formatting. That could possibly be in the way it is uploaded to the website - no reference to your style, etc. As a retired teacher, I can't help but make "corrections" in order that the final product is a reflection of the excellent work put into it.

    Chapter 46

As always, the story continues to provide humor, serious reflection, and good reading. The only constructive criticism I would make is that the editing and publishing of the manuscript needs major attention: the errors detract from the excellence of the story.

    Original Song

Wonderful lyrics. Again, Carlos, you've written a chapter that allowed me to be a front-row member of the audience. Very well done!! Tony

    Coach Duet

As mentioned before, I have admired your sticking to your self-imposed format. Likewise, I do agree with the time period in which the postings took place. I don't think I could have handled a once-per-week posting - it wouldn't have held the same suspense. As to a sneak peek...I will wait to be surprised with the next submission. A sneak peek would only serve to frustrate me that time was not passing more quickly, and at my age, each day is relished!
