The tension is building for the finale. One can feel Chipper's emotions and the support offered by Adam. I know the story is coming to an end (I always get a bit sad when a good story approaches the end as I become involved and feel a vicarious connection to the characters and plot), but also look forward to your next excellent work, Carlos!

A very well written story which accurately depicts the trial of adolescence, the joy of first love, the passions of youth, while at the same time the intrigue of the reclamation of the throne of a young king. Mike Arram has continued the saga of Rothenia while at the same time sharing the story of Henry Atwood. From the first chapter, the reader is taken on a journey that is full of romance, yet tempered by reality. A great read!!

A much needed chapter: a bit of relief before the stress of the finals. This truly is a learning experience for Chipper in learning how to deal with the pressure of fame. Come on Tuesday!

A wonderfully warm story that contains a wonderfully warm family, fascinating characters - both youth and adult, and very intriguing situations. It is a rewarding read.

I love the assumption of Chipper that Bliss wanted more of the relationship than just being "buddies". Great way of settling that "problem". As usual, your descriptive writing certainly allowed me to easily visualize Chipper performing the song and dance. Yes, I do like longer chapters normally, but I certainly admire your adherence to your imposed 1000 word limit. You have certainly mastered the ability to focus a lot in these few words. Another great chapter! Tony F

It is so great that Eric and Peter don't hold their positions or rank as proof of superiority to others: rather, they use their privilege to benefit and befriend others. Their love is palpable. I can do with a few more volumes of their adventures...

I do hope Jo gets involved soon. Don definitely will blow a gasket when he hears from the pastor. It is time for a break for Robbie!

A Pygmalion character transforms through each chapter, giving us insight into how unconditional love can bring out the best of a person in the long run, providing the person can respond to that love.

At long last, the moment has finally arrived! This was the culmination of a lot of work! Now, another chapter in their journey begins. You have done a marvelous job writing this story R. Eric. Long may it continue!

Even in a thousand words, you captured the dreaded wait for the announcement of who was moving on. That's the part of the shows like this that drives me crazy! It does, however, create the dramatic effect it was designed for. Interesting ending: wonder if Bliss is going to seek Ethan's advice too?

Good setup for what is to come. At least Chipper has good people assisting him.

This is a wonderful story which captures the grit of a working class young man and the socially clueless aristocratic mate who, through their running away, found maturity, resilience, trust and love. Additionally, there is the coincidental story of a man who finds the son he didn't even know he had but stepped up, with the aid of his partner, to give the child a home. And what a child he is! This is a great read as a stand-alone story or within the series.

I wanted to read the whole story prior to commenting. I agree - it ended well, but way too soon. Great story with wonderful characters. I certainly hope you write a sequel to this and let us know what happens to these characters after a few years have passed for them (but not for us!).

While I do like longer chapters generally, I am impressed by how much intensity you are accomplishing with your 1000 word limit. Great chapter!

Now poor Chipper might not get into a big name college! He turned down Nalbo! Lovely turn of events in a relatively short time. Well done!!!

Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!
pvtguy commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!
This was definitely a fun chapter! Now hurry up and take care of Don! -
And now, on to the wedding!!!

Such a wonderful concept. Is there anything like that where you are? There is certainly nothing like that of which I am aware in my part of Florida. Now that I am retired, I would love to assist homeless adolescents, but I'm afraid my age would preclude me from consideration. It certainly is something I need to look into and this story has simply reinforced this idea for me. Too bad it has to come to an end...Thanks for sharing this story with us! Tony

In this age of nearly no privacy, it is not surprising that pictures like this surface - simply think of all the rags which call themselves "journalists". The intrigue continues to build! As usual, in a 1000 words, you have said much, Carlos! On to Tuesday!!! Tony

I can understand why all the secrecy for the location of Project Discovery, but it also adds to the intrigue of the story. This chapter has definitely shown greater emotional depth. Very well done!

Ok...so is his name Jacob or Joshua? If Jacob, you gave him another name in the last paragraph. In any case, while this story has more emotional depth than many other stories you've written, I must agree with davewri 665: The heavy handed approach to troubled kids, hiding things from the press, and a general arrogant attitude does not bode well. As a retired counselor (36 years in the profession), I find problems with some approaches taken. That said, the story is captivating nonetheless.

I'm so glad Chipper kept his fur: I'm still not fully comfortable with shaved chests, backs, arms and legs on men - not that there's anything wrong with it - just a preference. In any case, I'm certainly glad he avoided Greg Nalbo (a Weinstein wannabe apparently). Also glad he is asserting himself into the image he wants to portray on the show through the selection of songs he wants to perform. Another great job, Carlos! Tony

In even the most idyllic of settings, evil appears. It certainly keeps things real, unfortunately. Great job, Eric.

I'm loving each chapter and knowing the story is coming to an end leaves me both sad and happy at once! I do hope we see them through their senior year at Northeastern and moving back to Makarovia!

As long as reaction (emotionally) is accompanied by reflection (reason), one can hopefully avoid actions which could have disastrous results. Still, sometimes the biggest mistakes prove to be the greatest opportunities for growth....just an observation. I'm not saying Chipper acts totally impulsively without any reason...still, he is an impetuous young man at times.
