And now, on to the wedding!!!

Such a wonderful concept. Is there anything like that where you are? There is certainly nothing like that of which I am aware in my part of Florida. Now that I am retired, I would love to assist homeless adolescents, but I'm afraid my age would preclude me from consideration. It certainly is something I need to look into and this story has simply reinforced this idea for me. Too bad it has to come to an end...Thanks for sharing this story with us! Tony

I can understand why all the secrecy for the location of Project Discovery, but it also adds to the intrigue of the story. This chapter has definitely shown greater emotional depth. Very well done!

Ok...so is his name Jacob or Joshua? If Jacob, you gave him another name in the last paragraph. In any case, while this story has more emotional depth than many other stories you've written, I must agree with davewri 665: The heavy handed approach to troubled kids, hiding things from the press, and a general arrogant attitude does not bode well. As a retired counselor (36 years in the profession), I find problems with some approaches taken. That said, the story is captivating nonetheless.

I'm so glad Chipper kept his fur: I'm still not fully comfortable with shaved chests, backs, arms and legs on men - not that there's anything wrong with it - just a preference. In any case, I'm certainly glad he avoided Greg Nalbo (a Weinstein wannabe apparently). Also glad he is asserting himself into the image he wants to portray on the show through the selection of songs he wants to perform. Another great job, Carlos! Tony

I'm loving each chapter and knowing the story is coming to an end leaves me both sad and happy at once! I do hope we see them through their senior year at Northeastern and moving back to Makarovia!

As long as reaction (emotionally) is accompanied by reflection (reason), one can hopefully avoid actions which could have disastrous results. Still, sometimes the biggest mistakes prove to be the greatest opportunities for growth....just an observation. I'm not saying Chipper acts totally impulsively without any reason...still, he is an impetuous young man at times.

Everyone's life is complicated: the journey takes many turns and offers both challenges and opportunities. Chipper has a heart of gold - he is appreciative of all he has experienced and received from the Squad and his parents. He is also adventurous. I just hope these new "friends" don't lead him down a path that will negatively impact his future. I certainly await the unfolding story. Great job, Carlos! As I said before, I truly like this format - though, admittedly, I do like the stories with much longer chapters! Tony

Wonderful job, Bill. All was handled extremely well. Emotions were conveyed, but were not dragged out as to make the story maudlin. Even through sadness, joy, hope and love shine through. Thank you for continuing this series. I have enjoyed each volume. Each one gets better and better - and that's a lot to live up to as the first one was wonderful to begin with! While I would be ready to start reading this evening, do take the time to rest, reflect, and produce another great volume! Tony

A lot of action in a short space. While more detail would have elongated the story, I do believe your focus makes for a wonderful read.

I do remember that from the earlier volume...just exaggerating with the number of people there for Thanksgiving. I have cooked for large numbers of people in the past and know the amount of preparation it takes. They are definitely fortunate to have Josh and Jake to help out with everything. With the way you write this story, I feel like I am right there in every scene as the invisible participant.

I can see the ending of this volume coming soon. I do hope you continue through the Junior and Senior years. Great job.

The Currie household must have a commercial sized dishwasher as well as huge refrigerators and an 8-burner stove with 4 ovens! This chapter has set me up for my own Thanksgiving - though it will be on a much smaller scale, to be sure! I have loved all the volumes in this series, but this one has to be my favorite. I don't know Canadian law - only U.S. law - when it comes to suspected abuse. Medical and educational professionals are required by law to report suspected abuse. It is then up to the Department of Children and Families (or whatever that department is called in a given State) to investigate and determine the accuracy of the complaint. Jo has made a complaint to the police, as she told Robbie. Let's see what comes of that. I totally understand Nicola's reaction: she doesn't want to see the family impacted by divorce. She, perhaps, is thinking of the financial consequences, but I'm sure there are mixed feelings regardless. She did state a fact to Robbie, and I don't think it was meant to hurt him as he took it: he doesn't have the history with the family that Daniel, Amy and she have. His history is one of non-acceptance by Don and mixed acceptance by Sue. Even though he was formally adopted, he is still not treated as an equal to the other children. Dodger has done a wonderful job of presenting this story through Robbie's eyes. I certainly look forward to how things progress.

It is wise to remember that we're interpreting everything through Robbie's eyes. I'm not saying his interpretation is inaccurate, but neither is it totally accurate.There's always more to the story than one person's view. That said, I do believe that Don is up to something - he certainly is conniving. I would not be surprised that he has used up funds from Robbie's inheritance. Neither would I be surprised that he has some nefarious plan in progress. Let's see what the coming chapters have to say! Nice job, Dodger. Another chapter soon?

I am amazed at the instant decisions Lewis makes without any seeming deliberation - sell cars, etc. There is no indication that he has reviewed numbers which would tell the story of the cars' need at the resort or not. Oh well...I guess money talks!

Good job...it's worth the second read.

Fortunately, he has good legal advice and support. I only wish positive things ahead for both him and Bliss...but my cautious mind is always at work questioning possible negative impact of all actions... And now...waiting for Friday!!!

Are you revising the story - adding more - or using this as a starting point for more adventure with Sebastian, Lewis and the Twins?

Another chapter chock-full of activity. Thanksgiving will be truly that if Julie can make it. I have to admit that, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, when Becky asked what she could bring to the dinner, somehow I read 'pumpkin' upside down cake instead of pineapple...think I'm overloaded with pumpkin spice everything right now!!! Now on to the next chapter!

I am concerned a bit about Chipper: while he is acting like a normal man of his age, he is making some choices which could have very negative impact on his future. I know we all make crazy choices when young (and old too, for that matter!), but I just don't want to see anything prohibiting him from the success he is working towards. It is really getting intense now. I am eager to see the developments! As a retired counselor, I must say that I enjoy how you handle the parenting and family working together. I am concerned about how the boys will handle whatever happens to their mother, but they have a superb support system already in place. Tony
