South-West France, sonatas & sex advice
pvtguy commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in South-West France, sonatas & sex advice
The family ties are getting stronger. The openness about all things about their individual lives is adding to the level of trust among them all! A very delightful, but revealing, chapter! -
Tony has the beginning capital to get this started, but it takes a lot of work to get from idea to reality. I do believe Mrs. Reynolds will go for the idea. And now, on to the party!!!

I love that you presented two aspects of lifestyle, not sexuality; both are gay, but each made a different choice as to how they wanted to live their life. It may take the institutional church a much longer time to come to a more receptive position in regards to who one loves and stop making up rules for God.

Michael and Stephen are coming along quite well in the area of confidence. The swim mates are going to be good friends and positive influences Gavin was truly lucky. We'll see if his contrition holds. Jeff is going to have a hard time until he truly learns personal discipline. I do hope the GC will be able to help him deal with his impulsive behaviors. Brodie is going to have a much more difficult situation to deal with.

Very good chapter! I enjoyed the crossover with Ralph and Nolan and the twins. After all, Parborough is a small town! I continue to be impressed with the relationship between Brian and Toby: Toby is very mature for his age due to the openness with his father and the ability to discuss anything! I do want to know what's really going on with Deidre - her distancing herself is interesting.

There was a dose of a reality in Arthur's words, but not the reality Jamie wants for his life. Jamie did stand up for himself and has really started to confront some hard thoughts. His talk with Melinda seems to bolster his beliefs. A really wonderful chapter!

Things are moving along quite well. Matt is going to help with the media production and Harry is going to continue with his work. Aaron and Tony are getting even closer. All is good. Now for the party and getting Tony's siblings together!

I, too, am impressed with the strengthening relationship between Vince and Gray! They are "tango-ing" very well! Also glad to see Vince and Peter wearing down the rough edges to strengthen their relationship. Change is very difficult for a lot of people - perhaps all of us who have become comfortable in our lives. This is at once a very calm chapter but also a very thought provoking one!

[Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra
pvtguy commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in [Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra
Of course you will. I would expect no less from your wonderful style of writing! -
Aaron has to learn to harness the "green monster" and trust Tony fully. Still, Tony has to completely fill him in on all the details of the contract. An easy chapter, all in all, but important too.

Gavin's Idiocy and The Village People
pvtguy commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Gavin's Idiocy and The Village People
I wonder what Gavin's parents are like? He was certainly not raised in a vacuum. I wonder if they will make an appearance when/if he goes before a judge at Juvenile Court. Stephen is finally feeling that wonderful experience of belonging! A very positive chapter for sure!- 25 comments

I am also very sad when a good story ends/stops. However, I am hopeful for future stories which will be as engaging! This story has been a wonderful journey of growth in individuals and understanding the making of a relationship of three's.

I would hope that the new "asshole" would relieve him of lots of his assets so that she could not only take care of the kids and herself, but also use his precious money to help fund the Liberty Foundation!

Chapter 13: Metamorphosis: Part One
pvtguy commented on FV2112's story chapter in Chapter 13: Metamorphosis: Part One
Just where are the adult monitors on the school campus? In all my years in education, 39 in high schools and 8 in middle schools, I was always on duty somewhere around the school before, during and after! Brock et al would find themselves in police custody! I do hope his parents press charges! -
Hindsight: Harry's actions toward Tony were more paternalistic rather than anything else. He really has belief in Tony and wants to see him succeed! It was good to bring Luke into the picture. Once Tony shares the details of the contract with him, I am sure he and the rest of the gang are all going to be very supportive of future endeavors.

Is this a setup or a true surprise? Hmmm...... -
[Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra
pvtguy commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in [Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra
Interesting going back and forth in time to understand the characters. Brad is definitely the glue that holds the group together. He appears to be the lovable oaf, but I truly think he's just a very positive and outgoing character, either dumb as a fox or naive as hell!- 20 comments

More School, More Gavin, More Tevin
pvtguy commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in More School, More Gavin, More Tevin
Leon is very mature for his age! His innate goodness is drawing quality people to him as friends. His love for his brother is totally admirable.- 29 comments

Naked tea & LGBT history
pvtguy commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Naked tea & LGBT history
I loved working with teens teaching and counseling from the time I started in 1968. I knew that if it were known that I was gay, I could, and most probably would, have lost my job and been banned from working with children ever again! This attitude stayed with me throughout my career, even though by the time I retired, there were several out gay teachers and counselors, some flamboyant, others not. I must admit that Peter is quite correct: Peter laughed, “Things take time to change. You inherit attitudes from your parents and often people don’t change, don’t think things through. You’re brought up with the idea that being gay is somehow immoral, that gay men are unreliable, arty types and hairdressers, and don’t question it.” I still find it difficult to shed what was deeply implanted through my upbringing. It is much easier to be accepting and encouraging of others than myself, it seems! Wonderful chapter! -
Hmmm…is Arthur trying to get Jamie on the proverbial couch? Will Bunny find the dark secret his brother has supposedly discovered and provided LiveFeed? Lots to duscover.

There always seems to be a catch somewhere in a contract: Harry's stammering when Tony mentioned Luke as the witness is concerning to me. What isn't being said?

A little maturity has gone a long way with Wes! How far is he going to go on this first time? -
You are correct....I did mean Lyn!

If He Thought It Was Bad Before
pvtguy commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in If He Thought It Was Bad Before
The contrast in the behaviors of Leon, Jeff, Stephen, Michael, Gavin, and now Tevin is truly a microcosm of every place I've ever lived and at the schools where I worked! It will be interesting to see how the parents deal with these events and what type of people they are (especially the ones we haven't met yet).- 26 comments

Denise is full of surprises! Her suggestion about the living arrangements is spot on! It makes sense all around! Still, a mother with a strong personality will always be that way. She does truly have Brian's welfare foremost in her concern which she has extended to Gordon, Toby, and now, Russ! She is concerned about Jasper (as are all of us readers!) and worries he might still be a major threat to Toby. A wonderful chapter, @Robert Hugill.
