  1. Toby is a very talented and intelligent teen who also is a normal, testosterone fueled teen! He and Noah think they have discovered a place to meet for sex via Gabe's suggestion without realizing that Brian already has figured it out! I love the dynamic Toby has with Brian and Gordon! All based on honesty, trust and love.

    Chapter 8

I want both to move forward, but I'm truly in Tony's corner as far as Aaron's decision to stay. He made that decision and has no reason to blame Tony, even though I'm sure he will or does! That said, I do look forward to the coming conversations(s)!
  3. Who's 86? Walter is 53 as stated in the first paragraph.
  4. Gray does bring up some valid concerns about Peter: we don't know his full story. However, his challenge to Vince will cause Vince to truly consider his actions and what he wants. As is the case with most people coming out, most people will not care at all! He is still a good lawyer, he is still a very compassionate person and volunteer, he is still a loving father and brother! He has to focus on that for himself too! His love of any person - male or female - is his business. I don't think Freddie will have any problem with it but will need to see how well he and Peter get along.
  5. Hearst is breaking free more and more. I hope he helps Jamie see what was done via the video. Wen is totally brainwashed by his father, apparently. What happens next is going to be very important for both Hearst and Jamie.

    Chapter 7

A good plan to get Tony and Aaron together has been hatched. Now to see if it will work positively or end in disaster. While I think we all want to see them together again, there is this thing called life that seems to have other plans at times.

    Chapter 6

So often, when people go back "home" after being away for so long, they don't feel like they belong anymore. This does not seem to be the case with Tony: he has people who still love him and a situation with Aaron that needs to be faced and dealt with. I do understand Aaron's reactions and resulting depression, but that is not all on Tony. That he should be blamed is wrong - Aaron made the decision to stay. He needs to own up to that decision and its consequences. Can he move on and can he and Tony rekindle their relationship? Let' s see what @Mark Ponyboy Peters has in store for us!

    Chapter 4

I can understand the possible need for a new identity, but the bad guys could also simply recognize his face should they happen to turn up in his new city. We don't know the extent of the "home production network" yet. Joshua is getting much needed support from a growing community which now includes Det. O'Brien and Nicola. It starts with one child and can grow to include many. Great story and intrigue!

    Visitors!

I certainly can't add anything fresh to what has been said in the comments above. This is certainly one delightful story.
  10. Comments above have adequately, in my mind, addressed the Jasper issue and the questions raised by it. I am wondering how Brian and Gordon will explain to Toby how Russ fits into their relationship. Is he a FWB? Is he a part of a throuple? It certainly brings up the definition of "marriage" in our society and who defines it.
  11. So far, Jamie is not acting according to the script apparently written. Let's see what happens with his performance. Hearst has not accomplished his goal with his brother yet...and I wonder, as said by @Jason Rimbaud: what is Wen's real motivation? He certainly behaves as a jilted lover...

    Chapter 4

Ok....the counselor part of me says that both sides of the issue need to take responsibility for their own actions and behaviors before any progress will be made. Tim needs to get whatever resentment he is holding onto out in the open. Very likely, he has magnified the issues from his own point of view and needs to hear Tony's thoughts. All is not on Tony. So far, I am enjoying the pacing of the story.
  13. Agree with the prior comments, but also am glad that Bas did the stereotypical talent ascribed to gays: decorating! He certainly lit the fire for Gray who passed that on to Vince. And Vince seems to be the catalyst for bringing Matt and Gray closer as friends by getting to know each other. I am enjoying the pacing of the story!
  14. What a delightful chapter! The photo will be a wonderful present to his Dad and Brian! More wonderful characters to add to the extended family!
  15. This would never be tolerated in most schools today. Yes, the assholes still exist, but bullying is not tolerated (at least officially) in the schools where I worked. I was the "NARP" in high school - a band student, academically oriented. I know the feeling...but the phrase"it gets better" is true. Mr. Mancino's words are most accurate and helpful.
  16. Bas is the type of true friend everyone needs: can speak bluntly but out of true love. Just stating the facts out of compassion. Matt will be a good friend from whom a relationship could very well grow. This was a very lovely chapter.
  17. Heart’s cojones se to finally be dropping as he stands up to his brother. It does beg the question: what is Wen’s real motivation for his obsession with Jamie? Mel may do a lot for Jamie professionally. He does trust her.
  18. I agree with @Bft: they shouldn't have alerted Deirdre - she can, and probably will, say something to Jasper which will make him more cautious - that is, unless he is doing some bidding for her! Russ is certainly being a good friend and partner!

    Chapter 42

Wonderfully written: as usual, you make it so that the reader feels like the fly on the wall observing!
  20. Graham is feeling a bit hampered in the small town but does not realize there is life going on there, just not in the same manner as in the "big city". I can truly empathize. Still, he's making slow progress at building a new life for himself.

    A Memo To Elon

What I garnered was the presence of the north wind along with the southern breeeze which, to me at least, said that amidst the nonsense being caused by this unelected idiot and his "boss" (I'm still wondering who is the boss), there is still a breeze of hope alerting me to the beauty that is still present around us.

    Birthday!

Imagine what the birthday celebration would have been with Deirdre and the one celebrated with Brian and Gordon! The fact that they put Toby's desires first made it a wonderful day for all! Both sets of parents are delightful and supportive. They are a very lucky couple!

    Never Enough

I do believe I'm exhausted from the vicarious experience! I am looking forward to their finally being totally honest with each other, if that is possible. After all, the title of this story says a lot about each of them.
  24. I, too, appreciate the background which inspired this story. I am glad to see this version, knowing full well life is not always so HEA! For most of us, it’s a matter of learning to live through tragedy, pain, and loss and find joy in spite of and/ir because of these events.
  25. It was quite the ride to follow these two to their wedding! A really wonderul story that has entertained, touched and compelled us to follow through to this touching ending.
