But he's not a power bottom. He could try to be a Dom to make Lucas feel better, but it would be on Lucas' terms.

He, he... A boyfriend of a distant lawyer... I seem to recognise this from somewhere. Us lawyers are hard to live with and I feel for David. Will be interesting to see what happens. Could this party be the trigger?

I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings Coming down is the hardest thing This chapter had me humming Tom Petty... LOL Dean has wings but it seems it's more difficult to fly than surf. Perhaps more a question of letting go in your mind and believe it's possible. Douglas Adams crossed my mind too. Flying only being a matter of learning to miss the ground...

No, I think not... Darn! See where flustered mess gets me! Could Joel be a switch? I didn't think so, but lately I'm wondering.
-
Shhh! I thought that was our secret! No need for everyone to know I turn into a flustered mess on occasion... And I like your analysis of Lucas very much. I think you're on to something...

Hmm... The laws are the same in Sweden, but I didn't see Mason as being in a position of dependence on Joel. He's a coach, but holds no power over whether Mason gets to play or not.

I'm not sure if Joel thought molestation either. To me, that word implies some sort of force used. I'm thinking Lucas only went so far as cheating, but all voluntary. From both parties. Then of course you can have a debate whether a 16yo can agree to sexual relations. In Sweden, the age limit is 15. So it would be unusual but legal for Joel and Mason to have an affair in Sweden.

I love these! Maybe I need to get some for myself!

Chapter 9 William Foster
Puppilull commented on Cole Matthews's story chapter in Chapter 9 William Foster
An interesting chapter. For how long can we blame the people around us, who hold power over us, for our failures? His mother could very well be a complete bitch, but Lawson isn't a young man anymore. He should take responsibility for his own actions. -
I like the idea of a fallen White wolf, even if being tge White wolf seems to be more of a state of mind and not an actual wolf. Still, WW needs a body, a host. I have been trying to figure out what Colt can offer to buy their freedom. I mean he and the wloves leave hell, but I doubt they have defeated the Lord. If so, why would they all suffer and be forced apart? So my far out idea is the Lord can feed of Colt's misery, like an incubus or similar. Who would suffer more than Colt being forced to leave the pack? Or he gives him the WW powers, making it necessary for him to stay away from the WW pack...? I will eventually get time to read ch 2. Any day now... Sigh.

http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/gateway-to-the-underworld-siberia-batagaika-siberia-russia-permafrost-melting-a7063936.html Maybe we should clue them in on why the gate of hell is opening...

Been there too... At LAX. Started an argument after being sent across the airport twice without getting to go through customs. And I never lose my temper like that... And yes, I look very suspicious. A tiny blonde...

Oh poor Kye! What a terrible thing to find out! I would be very careful to relay this to Ash. He might not have the same qualms about hurting their father....

I gave been known to wear those myself. Once, I almost was barred from entering the US... Powerful shirt!

On certain occasions... Hard to believe, I know.

Now you're making me blush...

Your sneaky videos are way better than mine...

Pleading with me in Swedish! You must be desperate. LOL But will Sister Sweden be considerate of your begging...? You know what to say... Chapter is practically done. Perhaps a little tweaking needed after reviews.

A hopeful ending despite his mother's incomprehensible choice. Good to see a man of God actually preaching love. With the whole bathroom controversy going on, it's a reminder that people behind the headlines, whose lives are affected, are just that. People, who only want to live their lives in peace. Great story!

He, he... Hiding from emotion by turning it into a question of logic. Doesn't matter though, since nature or god have made plans for these two. Holding hands... Very sweet!

Yes, that was not Lucas' finest moment...

I guess we all have different tolerance levels for when enough is enough, as in I'm breaking up with you. Lucas has been negligent and totally absorbed in his work for the past few months. My guess is he doesn't realise just how much and how it's affecting Joel (who isn't doing very much to clear things up, as is his nature...). At this point, his focus is due to circumstances elsewhere. Should he realise this? Yes, preferably soon. Will he? I guess we'll see. Stress does different things to different people. Doing what is best isn't necessarily what you actually end up doing... Is that unforgivable? Then the whole argument at the end is a different thing... Not good.

OK, I know you all are just mad at Lucas and are ventilating your frustration, brought on by me...(Bad author!) But wy lawyer soul couldn't help but get its knickers in a twist. I feel a little more background is needed and I realize I have perhaps been too myopic as to general knowledge of a lawyer's life. Here's the thing. Lucas is 27-ish, just starting out in his career. He's worked for a few years, and he is still trying to find his way as a lawye in that rather cut throat environment. The firm he works for isn't the biggest or the best, but it's up-and-coming. So Lucas wants to make an impression and be the best he can be. He's good, but he's no wiz kid. He has to work for it. Right now, Lucas and perhaps the firm too have bitten off more than they can chew. It's sink or swim at this point and they all want to swim... Working so much and usually so close with people you form a certain loyalty, not only to the firm but also to the client. So for Lucas, this case is anything but meaningless or stupid. It's a defining moment in his career. If they pull this off and win, he will be someone. He will have made an impression. The pressure is on. So while Lucas is being a shitty boyfriend, to me he's not evil incarnate. Hmm... Ranting in my own thread. Maybe I need to revise the story instead...? But I didn't want to get all "Court drama of the week" and bore you all to death with too much detail. Perhaps a Lucas POV chapter would have been good, but Frost turned out to be Joel's story. It would have broken the flow to do it as I did in Thaw. For some reason. I seem to have zero control over the voices in my head... I write what they tell me.
