Am I leading him astray? The drama siren calling seductively...?
-
Ha, ha! Tim, you make me sound like such a review hound!
-
I figured it was dramatic, but not "Oh no, he's possibly dying!" dramatic... Update is next Thursday, unless I goof up. I think our boys have reach a turning point. Which direction will they take?

What have I done...?

I'm so happy the Karimov men have resolved their differences and can come together as a family once more. I didn't see Mikhail's affair with a man, let alone Dante's father, as ever happening. What a surprise twist! I suppose Daisuke had to die, but it still was sad to see him pay the price like that. Perhaps I'm forever an optimist and not a very good gangster, but I like to believe people can change. In the Yakuza... Betrayal can't be forgiven. My heart went out to Masahiro. So terrible for him. Such a good story, Cynus! I've looked forward to every chapter.

I really like all the action in this chapter. So many people taking a stand for what is right and fair. They are on their way to change, or so it seems. Must feel good for Tiffany to see so many people out to support her. Of course, the world won't magically be all rainbows and sunshine after this, no matter the outcome but at least she knows she has friends and supporters now.

They should take it slow, even if they're only aiming for friendship. Going too fast could set them up fo a giant fight and more resentment. Since Corey still has such a hard time forgiving Jason, they have ot clea the air. Otherwise, I think they'll be stuck in limbo. Or worse. Forgiveness regardless of outcome of their relationship would be good for Corey. He's kind of locked in the past. Possibly because of his father... Noot a good place to be.

Hmm... What were they arguing about? Did Park want Kraig home? Doesn't seem possible. And for an Alpha, the self control was admirable. No jealous growling! Way to go!
-
So different approaches to life. Maybe they can learn from each other and meet in the middle. Although I prefer the Tomacian way. I'm not envious of the boys coming clean and telling the truth. That's quite a bomb they're about to drop.

*Snicker, snicker* Silly Doms! But it's nice to see Daniel having so many people in his life who want to protect him. Hmm... So they are both in therapy...? Interesting.

Oh no, Hezra! You can't let the stupid media drive you apart! Communication! I think someone needs to crash that press conference... And on another note: Violet and Xavier, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g...

Chapter 7 Patterns and Priorities
Puppilull commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 7 Patterns and Priorities
Hmm... I think they (or just Tobyn?) are resisting the inevitable. Tobyn shouldn't be so scared to be attracted to Kellar. if need be, I'm sure they can sort out the baby making without the need to resort to unnecessary actions such as a loveless marriage. I mean, it's 2016. Having kids with a friend isn't unheard of. Of course, shifters tend to be conservative, but the chance for shifter babies should allow for a bit of rule bending. -
Oh yay! I'm so happy to see book two! I've missed these violent, complicated people... And now there are a few new ones! Very intriguing. I'm really curious about Carl and Alex, but I guess they'll show up more soon. And Luca! Before Marion goes too far with revenge, I hope she realises Alex has changed quite a bit. Still, she has a lot to be vengeful about.

I liked the car ad. It was clever. And Tim, those 90s clothes... LOL Here's an ad from Sweden. The guys in bed are two soccer players. One gay, one not. The ad is for an organisation for health care companies, wanting to battle a proposed law meaning the state should have much more say in how they provide care to their customers. The inspector shows up to make sure they 'do it' right. I think it's from 2014. It's Swedish, so proceed with caution... LOL

I wouldn't worry about the amount and detail of sex in your story. As long as it’s part of the story in a logical way, as others have pointed out above, it will be fine. When you read here on GA, you'll notice quite a few stories have no sex and are still popular. Why? Because the author has a story to tell and an honesty in doing so. Make your characters as real as possible emotionally (they can be vampires or aliens, so no need for total realism ) and readers will respond. Sex or no sex. As for readership, I think being active around the site and engaging with others help you get noticed. If people know a little about you, they will be curious. Don't worry if one story has few followers. You'll still learn from it. Then suddenly another of your stories get more attention for no apparent reason. Just enjoy it. And keep writing!

Yes, to me that would be different kinds of grief. I haven't had a break up as an adult (weird but true...) so I don't know if I would go into the whole 'Was it me?'-phase. It would probably depend on why the relationship ended.
-
It seemed to me Cory could be at different stages simultaneously. He was angry and numb/in shock about being left by Sandy. When he questioned what and when it went wrong, I didn't think about guilt as much as a part of his disbelief of having his relationship end in such a terrble way. He still can't really believe it. Maybe that is a form of guilt? I haven't felt guilty when I lost people I love. Perhaps because I was too young at the time.

Chapter 6, 7 and 8. Lady Macbeth washes her hands.
Puppilull commented on Cole Matthews's story chapter in Chapter 6, 7 and 8. Lady Macbeth washes her hands.
Hmm...I think he's right in Lawson showing his scars little by little. If him more or less killing a guy is easier to talk about, I really wonder why he's locked up now... And Sandy being a total dick... He could have at least texted Cory. Leaving money like that. No wonder Cory lost it. -
Not sure Joel could handle that... Not yet at least. Or do you do workshops...?
-
Maybe it's a good thing for Joel? Learning to be little more assertive and independant? Perhaps a bit too much sink or swim though...
-
Are you volunteering...?
-
Don't forget Ander is involved. They also use others at the firm (like Ashley and her memo) to work on specific questions as prep work. To be more than three doing the actual trial work would be a bit much. And American trials can go on for ages... Don't ask me why, but they do. In Sweden, a trial like this would be about 8 days, with a lot of witnesses and one day each for opening and closing.

Sorry, Tim... That would never happen in the real lawyer world... Not with a case like this. But you're right. Joel doesn't really blame Lucas. He just needs something to change. Question is what?
-
JAR, I have no idea what you talk about...
-
Sorry about Thor... LOL Should have come with a warning. Just as that video. I think anyone involved with a lawyer needs to get that, or the relationship is doomed. We do work as much as needed, no questions asked. It's just our thing. Besides, I think many do that. It's the price of ambition perhaps. Still, I get that it is kind of a shock to Joel. Not exactly the same tempo up north. Hopefully Joel will get other things to focus on, besides Lucas. Could help them, I think. Never a good thing to pin your entire existence on one person. Or am I being terribly unromantic now...?
