Oh, they are ever so slowly inching towards each other. It's a good thing Zander is as inexperienced as Andy, so they both move at a snail's pace. Anything faster and either boy might bolt...
Great review!
You're wrong though. LOL It's one of the most romantic stories I've ever read. Wait, what's that? A certain author growling..? Maybe it's my pervy Swedish mind, but to look for your one (or eight) true love, being fated to be together fighting supreme evil... Sigh...
So join us MetAddicts! It's such a wild ride!
I so want him to make a friend. It's hard to open up for so many reasons, but I hope his longing to belong somewhere will win that fight. It's such a lonely existence.
Ha, ha! Good thing you got through it without looking like a looney! I think my background in theater and singing might mean I subconsciously go for theatrics.
Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Maybe they are both right, depending on perspective and outlook. Levi expecing the worst, George always making the best of things.
Thanks for reviewing!
I think Levi is somehow convinced people will know about him if they get too close. Add his shyness and his fear of suddenly losing control over his hunger around people, I think university would be too stressful for him.
And yes, time is ticking...
Thanks for reading and reviewing!
With palest sunlight caressing my face
I stand in a golden morning so bright
Meeting sacred dawn after a long night
All by myself in this secretive place
Alone in the world and feeling strange
In my isolated tiny bubble
Though beneath the surface there is trouble
Making my universe tilt and lives change
My body heavy and no longer mine
A familiar sensation makes me weep
Inside two humans that slowly entwine
Stirring emotions that run very deep
In youth I’d be joyful, up on clou
It's always a bit scary to read the grammar rodeo posts. I'm somewhat of a (rather old fashioned) grammar police when reading and writing in Swedish, but in English I very often just wing it, going on feeling. So I read this with one eye, realising I probably bug the hell out of my fellow English grammar nerds...
I'm truly sorry for any eye rolling or head shaking I've caused you all! LOL
Oh, what will that mean? The new caretaker! Will Chris ever be able to meet his eyes again? Or is Chris on his knees not such a bad thing...? LOL
The ending had me thinking of a stupid joke: Kid: Is that a rose bush? Dad: No, it's a rhododendron. Kid: How do you spell that? Dad: It's a rose bush...
So Noel is staying! What a relief for everyone, including those souls inside... I don't really think seeing traces of your parents or grandparents is similar to having some else's soul inside you, but it could make it easier to accept. Noel needs to get those walls down and get in touch with them. Before that happens, he will be feeling doubt.
So now we know who Kel was. How sad for Jenson to lose him not once but twice.
I'm looking forward to Audra kicking some male chauvinist Alectaran butt!
I'm glad you liked it. I worry about my writing being believable (since I'm a woman...) and it's nice to hear I can hit both the beautiful and the hot mark. LOL
