As a lawyer, this chapter was a particular delight to read! All that yummy legal prose... Mmmm... Although, I did feel a wee bit sorry for mr Kowalski. He had it coming, but still. That had to hurt! Stupid client! Even if his sloppy work set him up. Hope the FPS backs off now!

What a sweet story! And while I wasn't rolling on the floor laughing, I still think it was lighthearted and funny, so the comedy part is definitely there. You're building a whole universe if characters here, aren't you? I'm thinking Short cuts. It will be interesting to see this world grow. -

This is such a great idea! I know I usually always want more, but I can also see the appeal of only getting snippets, like this little glimpse of Clive and Erik. BTW, in one of those strange (or freaky) coincidences, I was trying to explain what a fire marshal is to my daughter today. Since we're Swedish, those words don't exactly come up in conversation on a regular basis. And then I read your story! Weird... -
Oh, Vladi... That was not a good way to handle that particular conversation. I get they are both cagey about being honest, but it's so sad to see Viktor retreat so far behind his wall. How will he deal with all those feelings, his longing for Nobu? Very interesting to get to know more of Vladi though. Not the brute you might expect...

Oh! More bad guys! Or well, Dante seems nice, but it's getting very complicated for Nobu. On top of that he has to handle his budding feelings for Victor. That school is really Mob high! I hope they make it through ok. I find myself holding my breath whenever Nobu talks to his father. Things could get violent pretty quickly...
