Now that I've met you, the idea of you in cut off jeans and a cropped top, sprawled on the soapy hood of a Camaro is just too funny. Almost had to stop on my run yesterday when that song came on. I was laughing so hard.

Yes, but Bradley knows Stephen isn't exactly celibate, so why consider changing his mind when he saw the evidence? Did he suddenly want to wait for his true love? Wouldn't his wolf take action? And I can defintitely understand not wanting to spend Christmas with strangers for several "normal" reasons, so Alistair might not be up to something. Still, this is Meta so I have to be suspicious.

I have to attack this in bite sizes. As for the time limit: I always felt like Alistair thought coming to the compound for Christmas wasn't uncomfortable because of him intruding. To me, it felt like he thought it was too late. Something needs to happen before Christmas, maybe getting accepted as the new Meta. Also, it just hit me. What else happened on Christmas... oh say some 2000 years ago? Could we see the birth or rebirth of the Meta? That jock strap that lay about in Stephen's room. Did it belong to an unfortunate virgin jock...?

I think we all need a spot like that, be it physical or in our heads, to escape from the world and retreat to when things get rough. For me, it's not a particular spot, but anywhere close to the ocean does the job. Maybe CE can seek solace in this place and not feel the urge to hurt himself so much. If he can let the feelings out by screams or shifted runs in the area instead of turning them all inside, it might help.

Just take your time! Since Tim set the forum thread up for Thaw as well, it would be fun with reactions to that too! But maybe that's just my ego talking... As for emotional scarring, I don't think you gave to worry. My comfy stories aren't set up that way. I work on a slightly less grand scale...

He really is falling apart... Poor Kye. He just needs a day or two to get his barings, but things keep happeing. Perhaps now, he can get some time to get a grip on his life and not be forced to simply flow along with these white water rapids.

Exactly. Sometimes "out of sight, out of mind" is a good thing. He's been hurting and suffering, but at least he isn't in mortal danger.
