Ditto!

It could of course be a completely new acquaintance that will show up in the coming books. Wouldn't be the first time a certain author has fun with his poor readers...

My first thought was the woman was Emma. But I really hope I'm wrong. It would be a terrible fate if she decended so far into her depression that she ends up hating the pack. Or maybe she blames them for robbing her of her sons. Then again there are other curvaceous blonde women.

Joel is missing his truncheon... And marines would never do that...

I find that prompt disturbing and I think it's because of that smile at the end. I don't see CE smiling after something like that. He feels too much, hence all the cutting. I can see Isaac on a particularly detached day or Colt with his compartmentalised feelings. It was an act of hate and a sense of release, albeit disturbing, at the end. Colt offing his father?

His father already threw him out of the house. What's next? Military school? Conversion? No doubt it'll be all Bobby's fault... He's at least cleared the air with Tiffany. Maybe they can be friends. I hope so.

I finally had time to sit and read. So now they are all brothers? How will they navigate these treacherous waters and keep their friendship and love? I think it's time Dante and Nobu 'broke up'. Things are getting confusing for Viktor. If they clear that up, they can expose Daisuke and have the relative peace returned. Just uncertain how Viktor will handle his dad in all this?

Now that was a story warning we've all been waiting for! LOL Your guys are more proper than mine Nice to see them get those few days alone without any other distractions than hot asses in tight pants... And they got the bad guy. Just need to get Jorrah and all will be set for a slightly calmer existence.

This song made me think of the prompt Beer and Chris Fink. Just bear with me, even if you don't get an unstoppable urge to jump around when you hear this. The lyrics are funny.

Innocence & Carnality

I agree Drew. I just wanted to add that being in an arranged marriage doesn't mean one spouse is free to act like a bully. Respect does not require love. -

That's society's and Rother's expectations. I haven't heard what Nathan actually likes. Other than he seems satisfied with the time spent intimate with Rother. With another partner, who knows? -

Yes, their embarrassment meant they intended to get rid of Nathan any way they could and get him far away from the family, but I still don't understand why he inevitably would take the wife part. He's gay but he's a man marrying another man. -

Let the record shoe we are in agreement. I don't think the issue of Rother feeling justified or not is important other than as regards their relationship with the rest of society. I look more to their own private relationship. They are married , but right now I can't see why Rother chose to marry. He could have employed a co-host. If he only wanted another servant, why a husband? To me, his desire to marry and a virgin at that, should tell us something. Question is what? Right now, Rother is steering their marriage to a business arrangement. I'm not sure that's what he actually wants. I'm not clear on why Nathan would've been a trophy husband in Victoria too? What makes you say that? -

Rother did more than lose his temper in my opinion and he has done his best to break Nathan until he thinks he's nothing but some trinket at Rother's disposal. -

Balancing? I'd say after his verbal abuse and that shove, he's firmly on the wrong side of that line. And I do believe men too see it as a violation to be forced to have sex. But I'm sure you meant to include both sexes. -
Fighting Words and the Epilogue
Puppilull commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Fighting Words and the Epilogue
That was a great ending to Tait's story. And Phil's too I guess. They can go on with their lives and build something new and better from here on. I hope they get their double celebration. LOL Funny thing: I actually have a Stephen Berg in my Thaw sequal... Also, I would think Sean is up on attempted murder since Tait didn't die (thank god). If there was lack of proof of intent, he would be up on severe assault charges or similar (not sure the correct legal US/Californian term...). At least, this would be the case in Sweden, so the lawyer in me went 'Hmmm...' Maybe some fellow GA fluent in US legaleeze knows this? -
That movie felt a bit like X-men moving into District 9. Cool effects.

There isn't as far as I recall much mouth/lip action involving Colt. Or what does your files say?
-
I'd say that depends on location of said lips.

I don't feel we know enough about the societies and their laws and social rules to know just what position Nathan would expect to have. We know some of Victoria but nor so much of Francine. The women we have encountered so far doesn't seem to be chained to a stove. They work and earn money. They don't appear married either, which indicates there's no need for guardians. Unless Rother has assumed that role and we haven't been told. So just because it seems to be a 1800s type of society, we don't know if all of the society is similar. I'm pretty certain prostitution wasn't legal in most places comparable to Francine if it's supposed to be of that era. Here, it doesn't seem illegal or even frowned upon. And regardless of how the laws at the time categorise it, Nathan would most definitely see it as rape. -

We have such a difference of opinion here... And just because you said something, doesn't mean we agreed before. Nathan seemed to interpret the vows a certain way so I based my comment on that. -

And that's exactly why I don't think Nathan can be described as a whiny stupid fool. I've read pretty much everything Mann has written, so I would be very surprised if the tables aren't turned. -

The wedding happened in flash and I would think Nathan had enough trouble coming to grips with leaving and getting married to think about what that marriage should entail. So I don't see Nathan as a fool. Rother chose to marry him. He said the vows and then proceeded to act like a husband. When exactly should Nathan have realised he was being lied to? Before or after he found his husband with his dick in someone else's mouth? I think Rother can be in for a nasty surprise if he continues down this path. Nathan is not stupid and he has his pride. -

How can you say that? He comes from the worst upbringing to a man who treats him like a possession. If anyone is entitled to whine it's Nathan. He dreamed of a life with a husband who would treat him better than his dad. I can't see anything wrong with that. I think it's good the truth is out and Nathan can make plans to survive this. I have a feeling Rother will be surprised.
