Such a lovely engagement! I like that his students got to share it, even if it might have been a bit too much personal life mixing with his professional life. Worlds colliding, as George Costanza would put it. Too bad Darton showed up like a fly in their chardonnay.

So the truth is out. But no explanation. At least Noom took it fairly well. He didn't shoot... Still, I was kind of hoping for a kiss at the end. I guess seeing your bed partner turn into a panther and back would put a damper on any amorous feelings...

Now I'm really curious! What did Alex tell them? Did he admit to who Carlin is? A dangerous move, but if Laura and Nita are truly in love (in that slightly warped Nabian way), they might be more inclined to help Alex and his love.

Could Talon have been living so close to the truth all this time? No wonder Raphael wanted him to stop looking. Has Raphael been using him for a cover as well? Letting him own the company? Seems it's going to take a lot of quick thinking to get out of that room alive...

Frustrating to not get an update on Silas, but I guess that makes us even with Brady. It must be hell to "know" something bad is about to happen and be stuck on a road like that. At least, band wasn't in an accident.

I can only agree with the others. What happened to Nathan? What ended up on that memory card? That feels like the key.

That was a difficult opening chapter. So sad. I hope I will be able to read it. It's hard to read stories like this when you have kids. It's hard to keep any kind of distance.

When Malachy is like this, he makes it kind of hard to dislike him. Somehow, I find myself hoping he can find another body (isn't that macabre?) and stay with Hazel. Maybe proving you fall in love with a mind and not a body? I just can't figure out who's body...

True to form, Silas won't take any advice from anyone. He's so used to make his own decisions, some time in his new home won't change that. I just hope he's careful. Brady's bad feeling is ominous.

Thanks! It is kind of addicting, this writing business. The haiku is liberating in its format. If you can't write just anything, I find it easier to write something! -
