Maybe he's so hungry it felt like two years? That wolf appetite and all... LOL Just kidding! That's impressive and even though I can't possibly manage such a thorough fact check like you, I do think Brian had to be younger than 17 when being kicked out.

Based on Owls, I have drawn the conclusion that Brian was younger than 18 (since Prime saved him from hunger, which could mean he couldn't get a job being too young). To be kicked out for being gay, Brian must have been at least mid teen. Otherwise, I doubt he would have the guts to go public or act on his desires given his conservative environment. So maybe he was 15-16?

What a rant comeback, LL! I'm impressed. Don't worry, JAR. For any situation, there's always ABBA! And we don't know if Betty actually talked to CE. In the hierarchical society, she could have been working behind the scenes.

Maybe CE being less interested in the female form, might think we all look alike? Both women are supposed to be attractive, even if Betsy is perhaps a bit too fond of getting undress a knife. But if you are thousands of years old, that might be expected. If she's half'n'half, wouldn't Colt be part wolf too? I wouldn't be surprised, other than about the pack not knowing this. I've always thought of him as a lovely cocktail: vamp, wolf, human and then that little extra (whatever the sandy professor might be... ) to make him so powerful.

That Greek and Sanskrit have bothered me from the start. Pity I don't know why... And Betty and Betsy don't look the same. Tall and blond vs. petite. Hair colour can be changed, but not stature.

I see him as a bit younger than Prime, but that might not be true. Just a feeling. A calendar is a good idea. LitLover could provide images for each month! (Not what you meant, but a nifty idea).

Maybe you hoped JAR would answer, but I'll take the chance and join the party! Since Betsy isn't wolf (as far as I know) and not tall or voluptuous, I don't believe Betty is another alias but someone else. Another owl lady (love that expression!)? Also, she was Luke's mistress ten years before the challenge, for six months. Then it ended. CE left at 18 and he's not 28-30 right now. Then who is Betty? Beats me... LOL As for Colt bottoming... I just don't see it. Eventually, it might not be against the rules of the pack, but I don't think that will make a difference. Maybe the wolves who are a bit sweet on each other will be allowed to act on there feelings, but only if their Meta says so. Addiction or not, I'm staying put in my 'It must be true love!' corner, meaning they won't go behind his back ( ) but will remain faithful. So there! I think your theory about MaryAnn is right.

Very nice story! Your guys were so cute, getting closer and closer. I'm glad he dared to kiss finally! I can totally relate to the writing itself thing. Weird but wonderful, isn't it? And fun! I hope you write more, about these two or something else. You have an easy flow to your writing that is very appealing.
