Thank You CG! I guess this chapter needs to be rewritten. 1. not-gay David having not not-gay thoughts of Donny 2. David trying to have a one-on-one with Twoey 3. Closure of the VIXERA incident 4. Our reassessment of Gary as a force 5. Dad making the appointment with Dr. Keating 6. David deciding to 'tell all' to the doctor. 7. Erik beginning to get rough Those were elements I thought would reveal this to be a turning point chapter, which it is. Tomorrow with Randy will reveal a new track. Don't give up on Alex. She'll come around once her fine brain overcomes the raging hormones.

How the hell did I miss this story lux? Luckily I only needed to read 3 chapters to catch up. I love how this third chapter, from the other's POV, has subtly changed perceptions. The entire story now takes on a decidedly more interesting turn! Can't wait for the next!

What a scene, Vincente giving the gay boy relationship advice! There is a lot to be said that this even took place. What is the masculine of "fag hag?" An enjoyable chapter, Hunter!!

Texas. Breathtaking. The sun was not yet above the horizon but brightly reflected off clouds in the distance. I perceived roses, grays and a slight steel-blue cast, reflecting the gulf below. Some higher clouds, nearer shore and in slight silhouette, showed bright rose tinges as the sunlight caught their rearward billows. Breathtaking. The sun was not yet above the horizon but delicately highlighted the hair splayed on the pillows beside me. I perceived sandy browns and dirty blonds, enhanced b

So happy the boys are back on track! Of course we knew it was inevitable, Ryan was too much in love for it to end otherwise. But thank you, Bubba, for making it happen so fast. Such excellent 'questions' which led Ryan right back to Clayton -- as I'm sure Bubba knew! A great chapter Rex, for all the clear thinking urged onto Ryan and for letting us into his head.

Ah tim, you certainly found "some words" And now, let's not waste them son (as my father would say) Don't let Evan's story "be ash" -
Yes, Uncle Neil, where will you take us? A great beginning!

Week Fifteen Tuesday, December 9, 2014: Locked Boxes

Thanks Def! Sam takes his friendship with David seriously. That's for sure. What will it take to snap Twoey out of this hypnotic love haze? Time? But then it will be too late for him. And speaking of too late, the symptoms you pointed out put David right on the edge of 'too late.' Something better happen in Dr. K's office. -

Thanks jess! David and his dad. Maybe there was a clueless gene than got passed along? I don't think Sam likes to meddle. Remember Danny and Sam talking when Gary and Nels were hatching their little plot to horsey-force David and Kathy together. But he must have realized how serious this was and so came up with one of his usual clever solutions. -

Thanks Parker! Yeah, we thought we were done with all the ominousness when the curtain fell on the "Church of Everybody's Going to Hell." But, in different ways, both our little heroes are in deep trouble. Well, they have a whole 22 days to get it all worked out. Unless they fail. -

Thanks CG! Ginny does seem to be a little distracted. She has a book tour coming up, maybe that's it. (we haven't been told that yet.) Danny has been warning David that time is running out and he wants to help his friend. He'll keep trying, but this is a big issue for David, so the jury is out on whether or not he will be successful. -

Thanks spikey! You're right. Sam's mother should have contacted David's father. But Sam took matters into his own hands and did it the way he figured would get the results. I agree about Twoey, but it's probably going to take a striking event to snap him out of his love haze. -

Thanks Lux! Sometimes Sam collects data and sometimes he acts. I think he knew simply urging David to see the Doc wasn't gonna work! Twoey -- sigh -- what can I say? -

Thanks Tim! Yeah, Sam has David read pretty well. And it got the job done. -
Week Fifteen Wednesday, December 10, 2014: Bigger than Religion
skinnydragon posted new chapter in 18 Weeks of Twoey
A wise man sees as much as he ought, not as much as he can. - Michel de Montaigne *** Twoey On the ride to school, I mentioned to Erik that I’ve received a couple of missed calls from David. He snapped. “Why is he trying to call you?” “I don’t know. Maybe I’ll get a chance to talk to him in math.” “Well whatever you do, don’t forget today is Wednesday and we’re sorta busy after practice.” He was grinning at me. “Don’t worry. I can't wait either.” Erik is so attentive. He act- 14 comments

Sooo ...what is really behind all the trouble? Was it David's first, apparently not well-hidden, appreciation of Rain? Mike's guilty-jealousy or, perhaps, jealous-guiltiness? David's second, definitely not well-hidden, appreciation of Rain? David's refusal to leave when Mike requested/demanded? OK ...everything's a little screwed up here. David should have gone home the minute he found out Mike did. Not to obediently follow him, but to get it -- whatever "it" is --- out in the open. A great chapter Lux, in that it portrayed the party and alcohol-fueled behavior and reactions really well. We could feel everything slurpily slipping as though we were there. Having been there, I can attest to that.

At first I was a little put off with Tomas's breaking everything down into logical arguments. I thought, "Is this what intelligent scholars do to have a good time?" But then, slowly, the clever author had Tomas win me over as the chapter went from irritating through sweet to fulfilling. Nicely done, you sly fox! Thank You, Parker, for continuing this lovely story!

There certainly is a lot of analysis bouncing around this page! Why couldn't what happened have been simple and logical? 1. Jackson was afraid of being with Luke today. 2. His friends gave him the perfect "escape." 3. ERGO - He went with his friends. The behavior of every other character was exactly normal (for the character), like them or not. Trouble ahead? Sure.

Tell the Camera You Love Me
skinnydragon commented on Rosicky's story chapter in Tell the Camera You Love Me
Wow! Excellent story, and well written. Even though we knew what was coming all the way, it was a compelling read. (I hope you have more in your pen!) Thank You for sharing! -
Crap! Visions of Russ and Evan in jocks, big handsome vikings, leftover dancing and pole dancing from before ...now, how the hell am I ever going to get to sleep tonight? Seriously, an altogether enchanting little chapter with Kristin thrown in (?) to boot! Thanks for this. Well, wait till tomorrow, then I'll know for sure if I wake up rested. Jocks! Sheesh!

Thank you so much for this wonderful little story, Ron! Besides being sort of relevant today, it was incredibly warm and kind-hearted -- without ever becoming sappy. Well done!

Fragment Four: Pillow Talk
skinnydragon commented on ColumbusGuy's story chapter in Fragment Four: Pillow Talk
Wow CG! It's been so long I had to read all the chapters again. Stay healthy, dammit! Anyway, back to the story. This was a very warm chapter, even though they're on Mars. I also enjoyed the little reminiscences and mind-blowing contemplation of the genetic possibilities. Good work! Now I'm waiting for more, of course. -
Thanks Gary! I can understand your interpretation. Love IS scary.
