    Thanks for your understanding comments Defiance! I think, aside from stupid-cupid, the week was really good for David. It gave him much needed time to reflect and reassess everything ...except for Kathygate, of course.

    Well things just seem to be getting worse every day for Stefan. You portrayed this very well , Parker, because you captured Stefan not thinking things are getting worse, only more of the same. Which definitely is worse! Hopefully there's a tiny light ahead, unless you're gonna torture us for a few more chapters. Can't wait!

    A Great review with enticing possibilities Lisa! Even though his script was 'out the window' maybe all the thinking David did during the week made him understand a bit of what was going on inside him. Hence the heartfelt apology. "Dear psychologist, I'm in love with your son." Talk about awkward!

    Thanks for the wonderful comments Lisa. No condom ...more about that later. This week is both good and bad for David. He finally has the time to process some stuff, good. He isn't physically allowed to be where he needs to be to protect himself from the meddlers, bad. ;(

    Thanks for your usual great insight Parker. You may be correct with each option you offer. Clearly he has another milestone approaching this weekend. Hopefully he'll use that experience to take stock.

    Thanks for the great review CG! It's a good thing you thought of Twoey taking that tack with Kathy and not Twoey! It would have made for a bunch of uninteresting chapters ahead. About David and the upcoming date Saturday: we've found a blinds spot in our little hero, but then he isn't aware of the behind-the-scenes machinations going on.

    Thanks for your concerns Bubby! Stick with it. There are 122 days in this story and lots left to go. Maybe they'll figure it out. About Twoey, well let's not be too harsh. Also we shouldn't hold gay kids to a different standard should we? I mean, if he was banging cheerleaders, he'd be getting pats on the back.

    Another great chapter MrM! Brandon's insecurities, bad memories and constant reminder of Joe the Vampire create a pretty skittish kid. Seeing Jimmy and Billy from his perspective is very well done too. Also Sam from a previous chapter. I forgot to mention it then. That's the first impartial description of Sam I can ever remember. But the worst line (considering what we know is eventually going to happen) was: ...but I don't allow those [friends] in my life anymore. They always betray me in the end. Always. No wonder he reacted the way he did. Keep up the good work, awaiting the next chapter!

    A great beginning Parker! For the story, that is, not for Stefan. Naturally he believes all that crap his father feeds him because it's a 'normal' part of his life and has been since he was small. Stefan needs a knight in shining armor.

    Great one Mark! So the majority of the chapter was Will, but no Will POV. Clever. Maybe it'll keep the Will 'haters' at bay. Not me, he's my favorite character. But more seriously, Will has really been busy. He reads his family so well and, for the most part, they have a soft spot for him. That has the potential of making him dangerous in the future, but I don't think he has that side in him ...yet. But he can be shrewd and he's rich. I thought we might get a little sniff of the ED situation, but I realize a lot of stuff was hanging that had to be addressed, as you accomplished in this chapter. So Marc and Brad one floor apart! cCould be interesting. Great chapter. You didn't disappoint, but you never do. Anticipating the next, as always.

    Hey CG, no arguments from me! Science Fiction is a difficult genre to pull off well (at least for me to I enjoy) ...and this seems to be an interesting premise and a great start. Hmmm ...Gay Neanderthals, bad guys called GA, nanobots with gay genes. If anybody can do it, you can. Breathlessly waiting for the next chapter CG!

    Thanks Defiance! Insightful as always. When he 'broke through' inviting Twoey to his room, I thought maybe the boys were going to finally start coming together. But it seems like their trajectories are diverging. After Twoey mentally turned the page on his past he seems to be grabbing his new 'gay me' with both hands. If CG is right, David will become trapped in the 'straight me' relationship with a girl he doesn't love. What will it take to change those two courses?

    It was a very emotional chapter, Gary, but it also was one filled with hope. I guess it took the tactile image of the pills themselves, and the finality of what they threatened to throw the switch in Mark's head. But if anything drove it home, it was Nate's description to his father of what it all meant to him. Sometimes parents don't take the time to see their actions through the eyes of their children. It can be sad, but it can be tragic. A wonderful chapter Gary!

    Therapy is right! Lovely chapter CG. I think Greg is going to be a proper therapist for Denny. I can't wait for him to repair all the damages, every one! Benny has already lowered Callie's shields, and those two are going to be perfect for each other, I sincerely expect. I loved the parallelism (?) of the chapter. The length was actually perfect cuz it got the job done for the reader with a fitting tempo IMHO. Great job, as always, CG ...Bravo! Now take a whole day off.

    Pretty great insight there, CG! I'm starting to agree with you on David's motives. His explosion? Now that's hard to predict since he hasn't run into anything like this before. And don't forget, he's fighting another internal battle he won't admit to. Could be interesting ...or tragic

    Wow! Thanks Defiance! I think you're the first to see the connection between his buried feelings for Twoey and his actions re Kathy. But buried things have a way of becoming brain eating zombies sometimes. Also, you added an interesting comment in the 18 Weeks discussion blog.
