  1. That sounds really cool, tim. I’m going to be on the look out for that now when I’m out for my walks. It was actually so warm out (61F), I wore my spring jacket.

    Chapter 1

Great start, tim! I am completely hooked on Lonnie as a person and where his “new” life leading him. I get the feeling his life and relationship with Leo, although technically over, will be of great help and comfort to Lonnie in the days ahead. Leo is a lovely chap, so I do hope we get to “see” more of him. PS: The scene with Stacy really tugged on my heartstrings leaving unshed tears in its wake. Looking forward to the next chapter, so I hope it’s coming soon… ETA: Just finished reading the other comments and found the answers to my questions: More Leo and Monday, so yay on both counts!
  3. Young at heart, he is. And with a side of spunk, to boot. ❤️
  4. Sorry to hear about your friend, tim, though I’m glad it seems to not be too serious (I hope). Im sure she feels much better knowing her pooch is in safe hands. The snow is disappearing nicely - thank you sun in a cloudless sky - so I think it will be all gone by tomorrow. It’s 18F for me as well, but the sun makes it feel warmer, which I don’t mind one bit. Hope everyone has a great day!
  5. I’m hoping the sun will melt the lot of it, so I won’t need to shovel it. This is the second time this year that it snowed right after I was able to wear my shoes rather than my boots on my walk. Natty is having a laugh at me, I think…
  6. Write because you want to and not because you think you should. Do what makes you happy even if that means building a barn in the backyard for you yak, and taking it for walks…you and your yak will no doubt be a treat for the neighborhood kiddies. Just saying… 😘
  7. It takes as long as it takes, tim. Your stories have always been top tier, so why mess with your process? xoxo
  8. That’s a really cool snowman and it’s great he was captured on film before he disappeared.
  9. Wishing for you the day comes soon that “doing stuff” brings happy thoughts and memories of Danny.
  10. Happy Storm Day to you, too, tim. So far just rain my way Here’s to not too much snow or rain for either of us. xoxo
  11. My coat isn’t that heavy, so I was fine with it, but not needing my mittens was a treat, and still seeing daylight out the window when it’s 6 pm great, too.
  12. I am a sheep/ram. Though considering I heard this zodiac phrase when I was nine “crash, bang, boom here comes Aries” I think I favour a ram… 😇 On a different note, it’s absolutely beautiful outside today, so I don’t see where tomorrow’s bad weather is supposed to come from. Fingers crossed it’ll miss us.
  13. Awww…. He’s so sweet, who wouldn’t want to be his Valentine?
  14. Thanks, tim, and thank you for adding the link for another site to add to my list.
  15. Okay, Ima going to need the recipe for this, because it sounds absolutely delish, and I have no idea what spices are required to make the beef spicy. Also, what type of cabbage do you use? Please and thank you for your attention to this matter. 😊
  16. In the wee hours of Sunday morning it is forecasted to be -9F for several hours. I’ll take snow over that any day, though I do think is snowing at.
  17. Yep, Ceramicais on mine as well. I love mine, too. It’s an interesting shape with all of its angles, which adds to its appeal, imo.
  18. Love the beginnings of the table runner, but OMG that bowl. Perchance is it made in Italy? 🤔
  19. ETA: Oops, @Wayne Gray beat me to it. And the inaugural recipe additiongoes to our very own @Mikiesboy
  20. Noted! My oven temp runs a little low, so I usually up the temp by 5F. Im sure it will be fine, but I’ll be sure to keep an eye on them while they bake.
  21. I was looking to try something new using oatmeal, and this looks like it is just the thing. Excellent timing, tim! xoxo
