  1. I wish you all the luck in the world. 👍🏻👍🏻 You've got this @kbois!!!
  2. I hope you get the results you’re looking for. 🤞🏻
  3. I’m excited you’re excited. It’s going to be good, I just know it! As for the snow? I was out there shovelling it for nearly two hours (so glad it wasn’t too cold) to “get ahead of it” I did get I ahead of it, sort of. Now, if only it will stop…
  4. I’m thinking good thoughts your weather stays manageable. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
  5. So far my area has less than an inch, but blowing snow is continuous, so it looks as if more is coming down than it really is. I’ll be doing the same and shovelling in stages to keep on top of it all. Stay warm, tim.
  6. My area is saying 4-6 inches Sunday. I’ve got my fingers 🤞🏻🤞🏻this is one of the times they got the forecast wrong.
  7. Wishing you luck, tenfold!
  8. My neighbour has an electric shovel that enabled him to do my other neighbour’s (a double driveway) in about 20 minutes. I’m seriously looking at getting one myself. Just need to figure out which one. I’m posting an examples so you know what I mean — I Google best electric shovel Canada. https://ca.shopping-mentor.com/top/patio-lawn-garden/snow-removal-tools/snow-shovels/vl/electric-snow-shovels/?cq_acc=6897672676&cq_cmp=23402858805&cq_adg=189201059725&cq_term=electric snow shovels&cq_plac=&cq_net=g&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23402858805&gbraid=0AAAAA_zGFoWvYhRF_Az4aQWs4ql74XvWA&gclid=CjwKCAiAvaLLBhBFEiwAYCNTf4MO7wM0hgPY55aGBcebYCfPm5g4ouULORqpL9auZ4SLLaak35tDiRoC9UIQAvD_BwE
  9. I just got in from three hours of shovelling — mine and my neighbour. It’s all so pretty, but it needs to stop now. Like, right now. I know of someone who’s supposed to be arriving from NS today. 🤞🏻his flight wasn't cancelled. Now, it’s hot chocolate and huddle under a blanket time. The recycling trucks are getting through, but strangely, I haven’t seen nor heard a single snowplow today or last night as it usually wakes me up. I think staying home is in my future. Yours, too, I’m guessing… Stay warm, tim. xoxo
  10. Glad to see I’m not the only one with this affliction! Yesterday, I was sure it was Wednesday…
  11. These are really lovely and look like they may be fun to do. I went through a cross stitch phase in the very early 90s, but I don’t see doing it again, though I did enjoy it at the time.
  12. Sadly, my options are limited. The only one left is at the literal opposite end of town, and it’s gotten some not so favourable reviews. I think I’ll check out Michael to see what’s available - ie types and what they’re called - then check the online places you mentioned.
  13. I really like Michaels, which I could walk to when I lived in Toronto. It’s too far for that now. I can still walk to quite a few places, but living in the ‘burbs means there are a lot of places only accessible by car, because the buses don’t run frequently enough.
  14. Happy Birthday Cassie and Grandma!
  15. Dropped stitches were the big one for me. Luckily, my cat wasn’t a critic! 😂
  16. I’m seeing a lot of blue skies and sunshine atm, so I hope you and Mike are as well, tim. Your talk about knitting has got me thinking of taking up knitting again. Mind you, the only thing I ever really made was a blanket for my cat to sleep on as she liked to sleep under my dresser beside the air vent. That was also a very long time ago. Long story short, I realized I have forgotten how to make the initial stitches on the needle. Good thing there’s this little thing called YouTube lol Take care, and I hope you both feel better soon. xoxo
  17. He’s adorable, tim! I can see a scarf making him a dapper little gentleman. Also, wishing Mike feels better soon xoxo
  18. This was me as well. Best to be inside rather than out in the cold and falling snow. Happy New Year!
  19. Happy New Year DiCers! I hope 2026 is all you want it to be tenfold.
  20. Merry Christmas spyke and Happy New year. 🎉
  21. That sounds lovely, I’m sure Mike’s mom will enjoy a visit with you lot. xoxo
  22. Nope, no onions as per her “pawrents”
  23. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Gary.
  24. I’ve made the dog’s food (homemade is the only way she roles ) as she’ll be arriving 🐾🐾🐾 soon with her “staff”. I also diced three Spanish onions and lots of celery for the stuffing. I have to say, tim, what you’ve put together thus far is impressive and very mouthwatering… I hope whatever you and Mike for the holidays is everything you wanted and beyond that want. xoxo.
