It is. I went for an evening tuk-tuk ride around the moat for two hours with friends. I swear I got at least 50 bathtubs of water dumped on me. It was an open roofed tuk-tuk and Yoha, our driver wove in and out of the three lanes to make sure we hit all the wettest spots. The worst were the barrels filled with ice cold water. It did keep us feeling cooler than the 40 C temp yesterday. I left dry clothes at Orion's and was able to get dry and share stories with my friends of the trip. I have never laught so much before. No pictures, cause nothing electronic would survive the trip, but I took this picture earlier in the day from my car not far from my condo.

I read this and gave it a heart, but noticed some tear drop emojis. I reread it again and realized that it could be taken quite differently. I chose the heart because that is what I read. I do like that it can be read differently by others. It is a lovely poem that flowed soft and smoothly no matter the count.

I know that Troy is struggling with his past losses, and feeling so down. It is wonderful that John is there to comfort him and give him strength. Grant also showed his compassion by trying to locate Troy, but did not pressure him. You do such a great job of creating characters we can relate to and who feel real.

Very modest people in public, Thais are quite inventive and aggressive in the bedroom, Clo. If you want sweet and funny only then stick with Froggy. He may be hot, but for Thais that's just the beginning. Like their food, Thais like hot, hotter and OMG! Trust me on this one sweet Tink. ❤️

I love the way you have developed both these characters. I liked that Grant put aside his own biases and accepts John and Troy. I also like Troy's fierce independence, but think it a bit foolish to sacrifice his health to his pride.

How long has Ludwig been on the island? How did he get there? How long has he been a vampire? It seems he is very self righteous for someone who kills and drinks blood. Caden's definitely self indulgent and arrogant. This is going to make an interesting combat of wills.

What a letdown! All this time I thought Apple Jack was Johnny Appleseed's boyfriend. Oh well! Does this mean if I drink an applejack each day it will keep the doctor away? -

Hey Bro! Your words are so wonderful to read as I start my day. The affirm to me that I have achieved my goals for these poems. I did want to encourage people to do something that they might have only dreamed about. You are very correct when you said that I imparted to others what i have learned along my way. Because there are a lot of silly animals in your life like coyotes, roadrunners, wabbits, ducks and an Elmer of two? Personally, I have a very surreptitious cat that loves to prank me. -
A joy filled poem that will have you remembering your childhood dreams. Like the song, "When You Wish Upon A Star", the poem leaves you feeling your dreams can come true if your heart desires it enough.

As I read your poem, I also remembered my dreams of childhood and early twenties. I too wanted to be an astronaut, then later I dreamed of being Indiana Jones looking for the lost treasures of the past. As I matured I built on those dreams by learning about science and history in college. My job however was as a teacher. Started out in elementary school and then middles school to teach my students to love science and understand the improtance of history. I love the message of this poem and thank you for the beautiful words that are so positive.
