  1. There are, but you won't see them in the streets of cities or logging operations anymore. You will need to take a trip to the rural elephant preserves where you can actually help take care of them with their keepers.
  2. Poems that delight the senses filled with many delicious and seductive moments. I recommend reading not only these, but other poems by Aditus. They are always well written and enjoyable to read.

    ...and more.

....and more was a poetic twist to end this with. Well done! I love the erotic and sensual poems starting with an accident and ending in a romantic tangle of two souls.❤️

    Sprookjes

This is a wonderful fairytale adventure that adds fun and danger to the lives of Coby and David. Mooi, the beautiful spirit of Amsterdam, has known for a couple of centuries (more or less) that a great evil threatens humans. She enlists the help of her favorite boys to stop this from happening. Thus begins a great escapade. Sprookjes has all the elements of a great read that twists and turns thru a magical world...or two. I highly recommend reading this story. Though this story can stand on its own, reading Amsterdam Tales from the beginning tale will add greatly to your enjoyment.

    Chapter 1

Krange's words sum up the story quite nicely. I loved how Coby and David feel like they are in a fairytale when they meet Krange, and how he feels the same by going on an adventure with Humans! Coby and David are the stuff of Krange's fairy tales as a child. I don't always mention it, but when I read the beginning of the story I was compelled to tell you that your descriptions of the setting are always excellent. The beginning paragraph describing the beauty of the summer night in Amsterdam is an excellent example of your skills.
  6. I hear you. Mine was a '57 Chevy. $100 bucks when I got her in 1969 and lasted for 5 years. I did love that car!
  7. Hey Everyone! I'm checking out early. It' Friday night out with my friends to visit our local gay bar. Check in with you when I wake up in the morning.
  8. Hi Mancunian! Good to see you here.

    Dishes & Snacks

I guess I should not post the picture of the pasta from my favorite restaurant. Thais love to garnish their food, but the garnish for this is way over the top with the ink dyed tentacles and contrasting white slivers of parmesan cheese. 😜
  10. No, but he definitely loves old cars that are restored and improved to maximize their speed. Muscle cars. I had a lot of learning to do when I read his Rules of the Road and Road of Dreams. It's a good thing I was at least old enough to at least remember some of the cars in his stories.
  11. I'd watch out if I were you. @Geron Kees might take exception to the use of 'dilapidated' in the definition.
  12. I give up! Drew won. I'm still
  13. Fountain, Field and Forest left me with a wonderful feeling for the magic and beauty of a place where one can adventure and explore. These poems are an intimate recalling of a place and family that obviously shared a deep love for the land and each other. This is a beautiful collection of poems you will take to your heart.

    Chapter 1

I was left breathless as each poem added to the beauty and magic of your grandparents' home. I pictured you exploring, on adventures and just observing the wonder surrounding you there. It was a very intimate sharing of your memories and family. Thanks so very much, Parker.
  15. I loved this insightful poem. It's a positive message and thoughtful advice about how to face changes in your life. A short but well written and enjoyable poem. I recommend you take a break to read, then reevaluate how you have reacted to changes in your life.

  16. A poem as haunting as the call of the wolf. I remember watching "Dances With Wolves" and wondering about their cry. Your poem inspired that memory.
  17. New poem for the anthology: Mental Drew, Drew, Drew, Drew Open mouth, insert shoe. A devilish child or ancient senile. Love ya kiddo. Enjoy the last moments of being twenty...ish.

    Chapter 1

Your words paint a very beautiful picture dear to me. As a child I spent a lot of time watching and feeling the changes in the beach with the same wonder you described. This brought to me once again memories of a distant past of spending weekends with family and friends as I read Sandcastles. Renovations reminded me of the mind games friends and I played as we hiked along trails on Mt Hood trying to tell imaginative stories of the things we saw along the hike. Circle in the Sand captured the supernatural feeling of a campfire at night as I conversed and told stories with friends. All poems evoked very personal feelings for me. Thanks, Val

    Dishes & Snacks

A fun and funny group of delightful dishes! Thanks so much! Aditus. I had a list similar to AC's list. 1. AC guessed chocolate frogs (delicious). I guessed chocolate covered ants (You would need to hide the legs with a lot of dark chocolate to tempt me.) 2. AC guessed ramen as did I, but living in Thailand I love it for breakfast and lunch. It's a very common meal in Thailand with a variety of savory soups in which the vegetables, meats, fish, seafood and noodles swim. 3. AC guessed espresso as did I. I did forget the lemon on New Years Day and regretted it. With the kopi joss in question, I had to look it up. Let's just say it sounds medicinal. 4. We both guessed the same for the squid ink spaghetti, but here is my recommendation for the restaurant. Click here It's closer to home for me.
  20. A very wonderful message that was thoughtful and very well written. I do like how you are challenging the reader to make positive changes to their lives.
  21. Is this the start of the bluefish war or the redact war?
  22. I also had one with French doors and loved it. It was easier organize and get things in and out. Besides, I'm getting old enough that trying to pick something off the floor takes effort. A bottom freezer would have the same problem for me.
  23. I read and reviewed this six months ago. It is a great short story to read. It is very representative of Comicality's writing style and skills. It makes a very good first read if you are interesting in trying Comicality many stories.
  24. Goodnight Sweet Friends! I've go an early meeting tomorrow. Take care and have a fun time.

    Just Desserts

Thanks Albert! I am so glad you liked the cherry! Cherries are my favorite thing to pop. The poem too, my friend!
