This is so rich with insights, it should have been titled, Reflections in a Mirror. First, the minor characters Ryan and Lacy. They've been life long friends, dated, trust and communicate with each other, both extremely good looking and intelligent. They don't have a brother/sister type friendship. Ryan had his tongue down her throat in front of Owen's locker. Someone lock them into a room until the come to their senses and stop dancing around each other. Owen is annoyed by Aiden being oblivious to Janie's attraction to Aiden. I'm annoyed at Owen for being equally oblivious to all the hints and direct physical attention from Aiden. I got a laugh and wanted to shout at Owen and tell him to look himself in a mirror and repeat what he said to his reflection. Chris, Tony, Owen and Aiden are all suffering from self-sacrifice. Chris and Tony are sacrificing themselves for Aiden, Owen and Aiden's mother. Aiden is self-sacrificing himself for his mother, Janie and Owen. Owen is sacrificing himself for Aiden. They are all not talking for fear of hurting each other. These four need to start taking care of themselves and communicating honestly with each other about their feelings. Duh! You don't let anything get past you Owen after the 10th time. Aiden started hitting on you at the camping trip. Date and first kiss! Sigh..... It really was romantic.

It continues to get better with each chapter I've read so far. I hope you get some sleep soon. I was binging until I caught up. Knowing you a bit, I think you'll catch up before the next posting.

I was lucky to stumble on @WolfM's stories this year. I immediately fell in love from the first story in Running With the Pack. This interview was a great way to find out more about these stories. I loved both astone's questions and your answers WolfM. I will have to check out the two stories I haven't read. I do have to admit that Embers is my favorite so far, but Higher Education is rapidly gaining my favor. I hope some of the ideas in WolfM's brain lead to some more good reading soon. Hi Clo! Other than many instances of over-indulgence this month, we're doing well. I do have to start working out. Two night ago Aod and I went with friends to another roof top bar. No elevator this time and I had to hike up 5 flights of stairs. When we moved from there, I had to go down the stairs again and we walked almost 2 Km to our usual bar. My legs hurt! I was OK, however I really need to do more walking. I can't do anything about being old, but I don't want to be old and an invalid. 😳

I am sure you will like Great Restorations @weinerdog! It's a great story so far. Look forward to seeing your comments there.

I've tried not to worry about Janie. She got me riled when she got all possessive and tried to manipulate Aiden, while sending evil eyes at Owen. I suspect that although Ryan was right about Aiden and Janie just being friend that Janie is now wanting more. If she already knows Aiden is gay, then I respect her even less. I was reassured that Aiden's distress by her actions means he still feels the same about Janie as just being a friend. I had to laugh at how Ryan ambushed Owen into going to the dance. I like Lacy and her attitude. Ryan makes a good friend for all. I wonder when and who will snag him. I love that Aiden is staying the night. Maybe Owen and Aiden have gained enough trust in each other to reveal more about themselves and their situation.

Why ever would we do that? You're making me nervous before I even read the chapter! -pause to read- Now I understand. However it's not a lynching offense. You didn't off Aunt May. Her own stubbornness to seeing the doctor lead to her death. May she rest in peace. Marc's fears and Sawyer's self-indulgence has led to their problems. I did like Kurt. He showed a lot of thoughtful concern and restraint. The cliffhanger is punishable with a tar and feathering, but no lynching. I just hope the next chapter is not filled with a lot of anguish and anger. Good work Libby!

They had a great time at the fair, but I'm surprised that Chris has not mentioned the pendant and merchant to anyone. His answer to a question in a language he doesn't know was highly unlikely, except if fits his dreams. I guess he is a prince, but what/who does he rule? I agree that he definitely should consult with Victor.

I suspect that Chris and Tony want Aiden to move in because Aiden's mom is currently unfit and may even be jailed or in a hospital for rehabilitation. Whatever is wrong with her sounds serious. I hope Aiden is convinced to stay with them. Kudos to Leo and Ryan. Dennis and his family sound hateful and dysfunctional. As for the dance, I think Owen should go. Running into Jake at the mall led was a blessing for both Jake and Owen. They were able to figure a way to help each other.

The camping trip has been a catalyst for change in the relationships of the three teens. Owen has finally understood he has people who want his friendship and realizes he wants them to be is good friends. He is a bit oblivious of Aiden's growing love for him, but it does look like that will happen soon. Aiden is giving him more that just hints. Aiden is showing him that he is physically attracted and wants to be close to Owen. I just wish we knew what is wrong with Aiden's mom.

I guess Chris doesn't want to repeat the same mistake he made on the first camping trip they took with Owen. I do love the hiking and camping described, but understood completely how Owen felt uncomfortable with Melissa and her father. The turn in weather usually isn't much fun, but thanks to Aiden's courage was a highlight in this chapter. I hope they find equally fun ways to entertain each other on their hike tomorrow.

Aiden taking care of Owen and brushing his hair on the bench was sweet. It was also sweet the way the two crashed out on Owen's bed after Aiden drove them home. I loved the way Chris answered both Tony and Owen's question. I too believe in a god that is the same as Chris described. Beautiful words describing how much Chris loves them both.

Don't feel bad, I too am having trouble remembering all the kids in this huge family.🤔

This is an excellent story and I'm enjoying meeting this group of guys. They are unique individuals that create a positive environment together. I like how Aiden and Owen are inching towards telling each other they are gay. Adam and Shane could also be a couple, but so far they could also just be great friends. I want to know more about these people and that's one of the reasons I like this story.

Wow! Victor is not only hot, rich and powerful, he is highly educated. Great boyfriend material. The bonus effects of his cum is just the icing.

Chris' eyes are opened even more to the real world of vampires as he has lunch with Victor. I wonder what will happen when Chris' father meets with the wolves.

I thought that Leo would have more problems about Victor being a vampire. I guess that says a lot for Leo and his loyalty to Chris. What kind of knowledge are being transferred to Chris in the books. It also seems he absorbing power now from them. How will that affect him?
