    Chapter 4

Ya got me LMAO as Dr. Evan's secret weapon, Ward Sister Judy Evan (aka Mom) lit into Major like a Marine drill sergeant. He has definitely met his match, as well as the person most likely to make him stay with the boys when he is released from the hospital. I love the way her physical appearance contrasted with her fireworks personality. I hope she sticks around for the rest of the story. I love a chapter that makes me laugh out loud. PS Thanks for the suggested next story to read!

    Chapter 3

Now that John/Christian's secret is out, I think there will be some big changes for him. I don't have any ideas what they will be, but there will be some adjustments for everyone. I pity someone like Bill. He is the only one he is hurting. People like this don't have the basic resources and skills to overcome adversity and become bitter and hate filled towards themselves. On the outside that is openly directed at others, but that only makes it more self destructive on the inside of Bill. Fortunately there was much good news also. Beccy and Jim are going to be parents! They also stood up together to meet the challenge by telling it straight and truthfully to the clients of The Boot. Major is doing well and maybe going home and staying with his family. The dialogue is well written, focused and realistic. Great chapter @Mancunian!
  3. Hi Page! Aod and I are both getting better. The cold is still in our chests, but we are coughing much less. Both of us got a good night's sleep. Aod is still resting a lot, but I got out to shop and did some cleaning today. We are both hoping to get out tomorrow evening to celebrate Loi Krathong and watch the fireworks. How are you guys?

    Chapter 2

This is a well written story and your characters are very lovable. It is easy to get caught up in their world and quickly bond with them. I am enjoying this story already and look forward to learning more about the Major.

    Chapter 1

I am rooting for the Major and happy his family is with him. He is a tough survivor and will hopefully recover soon. I was happy that Steve and Kate are fostering a kid. They will make wonderful parents. This will be interesting to watch. I think Andy was miffed more about missing the opportunity to get to know more about John than being told he needed to stay at The Boot.
  6. Only if I needed a person who is good at fratricides and assassinations. 😱

    Species High Court

It's terrible getting old and forgetting something I read two days ago. I do love grandpa's name Radulf and looked up its origins. Grandpa is truly an old wolf and a counselor.

    Sharp Shorts

Now I see the connection to the two stories. Also, I got my question answered about grandpa's name! Thanks for the hint in the sister story.

That's probably because you are a young guy. Elvira shook up the TV world with her low cut dress, big breasts and ever so seductive innuendos geared at the teen boys, not adults.

Now you have me diving down a rabbit hole again! 🤔 Both Tiryth and the River Bend pack is so familiar it is driving me crazy. 😜 I've binged on shifter stories for about the last 6 months. That's about 8 or 9 authors, several stories each for most and about 7-8 series! If I haven't figured it out soon, I'll come begging!😊
  11. I was happy to find that you have continued the first story, and suprised to see two series. I'm looking forward to reading them all. Thanks!
  12. This is a classic Halloween story. It is creepy, scary and ends in a mystery. I love the comments by @Al Norris and @Daddydavek about the Twilight Zone. The Fraternity House would have been a classic episode for that series.
  13. You should find a gif with a more credible person. Or at least one with a less creepy face. This face looks like a braying as..donkey.

    The Boot

A great story of care and understanding that makes you want to give each and everyone of the characters a great big hug!. The Boot is a life raft for the homeless that is filled with care and respect for their clients. The story is short, but the good feeling you are left with will remain long with you.

    The Boot

The best aspect of this story is that these are people who care, give of their time/money and attach no strings. I respect people like this!

    The Boot

This was a very well written story of a caring, loving and respectful group of people. I liked very much that they help others personally with no strings attached. I do hope you have written more of these stories, @Mancunian. Keep writing good stuff like this! ❤️ Terry
  17. This is a spooky ghost story that is great for Halloween. It is a bit sneaky however. It is scary when you read it, but gets even more scary after you finish reading and have time to think about it.
  18. This is a very unique ghost story. I liked that it was set in a nursing home. The little girl is intriguing and still a mystery at the end of the story. I also like that the truth behind the ghost is not revealed until after the ghost is gone.
  19. An excellent Halloween story. The scariest part for me was the information learned after the ghost was taken care of permanently. (I hope)
  20. I didn't say you had a non-despotic mode. You have other modes just as tyrannical as a despot. God, emperor, dictator, and tyrant are a few among the many I could list, but I don't want to spend the next hours typing a list like that.
  21. Good question Sussins! I just spent 30 minutes on this rabbit hole trying to find clues to the answer! I hope Laura answers it. I want to know also. 😄
  22. Warming the feet up first could be fun. 😁
  23. I think Christmas would be a much more meaningful holiday if more people did what you are doing. Things I did with my parents as a child at Christmas are what I cherish and remember. I only remember one present, but it had a lot of meaning to me. It was my first telescope.
