Dang Gary, You are one busy man lately! I envy the energy you have to accomplish these projects. Glad to see you back to a more normal life after the covid problems you faced. A friend of mine had an electric fireplace that looked very real and he loved it. I just got a very bid new sectional also. It makes a great place to relax and comfortable for overnight guest to sleep. I don't envy the wall work however. I hate trying to strip wallpaper. You're a better man than I.

Hey Page, We are doing well. I need to catch up on some chores, as well as cooking. The Netflix nut in the family has been watching the Jeffrey Dahmer series, so I stay out of the living room as much as possible. The actor for the series looks too much like the real guy and it creeps me out. How are you guys doing?

I'd invest in some sweaters for back to school clothing. When I was in the states, I could pick up cashmere sweaters after Christmas for 40-50 USD. I still have two that I keep for the cold season here. That's 3-4 weeks in Dec and Jan when the night time temps get down to 13 to 15 C.

Hey Gary! One hot guy! It sure didn't take Drew long to lay claim. How are you doing? Getting rested up from all the remodeling? I have trouble changing lightbulbs let alone doing projects like you have been doing. I got exhausted just reading about them.

Hi Albert! I'm sure you two would get along. He loves to tease also. I miss Amazon, even though we have it here. It is not as reliable as in the states, due to shipping and customs problems. Books are no problem, but appliances are both difficult and expensive due to customs fees/taxes. We do have two good online sites, however, Lazada and Shoppee. Since they are Thai based shipping is fast and fees are minimal. A Chinese firm, Aliexpress, used to be good, but is very unreliable due to covid. How are you and Steve?

I am back to normal and Aod is his usual healthy self. Now I have to catch up on routine stuff. Banking and a haircut today. Yesterday, I did make a big batch of coleslaw I have been craving, and potato leek soup again. I love the soup, because I can make so many variations just by adding veggies, meats or cheeses to the base soup quickly. Orange does the same thing as Looping occasionally, but it is more when there are loud noises outside like storms and fireworks.

Interesting start to the story. I like how the main problem is stated very clearly at the beginning. It makes a good anchor on which to build the story. It is also unique enough to draw the reader into the next chapter.

I am not usually into vampire stories, but I am finding this story easy to read and quite compelling. I like the developing characters and look forward to more of the story. Mother is a political bitch and I don't like her or her sycophant, Simone. I would hate to tell you which fictional character she reminds me of. You would probably get a laugh.

Stefan made his choice and seems to have mortally wounded Vincent. Not nice, Aaron. I hope it is within Vince to overcome this and draw on all his powers to defeat Stefan. He doesn't seem to be using all his resources yet. Maybe he will get some help from the gods or Mason. Hope you keep your promise for a quick next chapter. I'm not sure I can stand the agony of waiting. Maybe I should howl out to the Korner Krew to get together for an intervention! Stefan must die!!!!! And stay dead!!!!! Forever!!!!!- 40 comments

As many times as these guys face danger, I think that their decision was not unexpected. The Brautigan do sound formidable. There was nothing in their description about them being users of magic. They do seem paranoid and secretive. I do hope that Mike and Illia are right in their assumption that the empire is not as large as they suspected. However, Nabakeah could be a tightly held secret of the Brautigan Empire and the reason for its paranoia. I like the way the tension of the story is building. I also like the way we get to know more about the crew of the Illia. BTW I think a group name would be great for the guys. Boonies would be too obvious, but something like RFP, Inc (Raiders of Forbidden Planets) could work. 🤔

Hey Gary! I checked the numbers on Boundaries today. I was very impressed with all the recommendations, reviews and comments. It is one of the top stories in the 2022 Anthology according to readers. How are you feeling today? I hope you are getting some rest. I'm almost back to normal today, but I still took it easy and stayed home.

Damn! Now I will have to reschedule my week. Only joking. I prefer quality every time. I'd say take your time, but I wouldn't sincerely mean that either. Looking forward to finding out how the battle goes. I still don't like the idea of Mason being there, but it would be totally uncharacteristic if he was not. I am hoping Stefan is the only fatality in the battle. -
