Gary, my good friend I did not write kind words, but the truth. Never doubt the power of your talent and ability to deeply move my emotions. We may not always agree, but your ability to challenge me in both ideas and emotions is unique. I have only had the early works of another friend, Geron Kees, challenge me as much. Again, thank you for sharing your stories that entertain and challenge me to be a better person. -
A very fun and whimsical start to the story. I recognized @Yeoldebard's pawprints on this immediately. I take it from the comments, we have at least a few more chapters. Looking forward to reading the rest. Great job Aaron! Kudos to Yeoldebard! The collaboration works very well.

This distinctive and excellent story is a wonderful sample of Valkyrie's talents to create characters and situations that will move your heart. The story is short, but very powerful and leaves you feeling warm and satisfied.

Good Morning All! I just finished Gary's new story for the 2022 Anthology and loved it. I also suggest you read @Valkyrie's story, 'The Purple Door'. It is also an excellent short that will stir your emotions in much the same way Gary's story did mine. These are two very different stories, but somehow emotionally feel related. Tonight is date night and we're going out with friends for drinks. I'll be checking out soon. Have a great day all.

Thank you Gary for another wonderful story. This sad, but sweet anniversary of love and loss powerfully hit my emotions. In my imagination I pictured Dirk and Peter nudging their lovers so Paul and Woodrow arrived at the same time. Sadness shared seem to draw Woodrow and Paul together. I hope that they will help each other as friends and maybe someday they will again find the happiness together they had with Dirk and Peter. This is a marvelous new story in the universe of Charlie Boone and friends. It is very unique in the fact that it is a parallel tale of what is happening to some of Charlie's friends while Charlie is off on a different adventure. (See Elementary! My Dear Charlie Boone.) As always it is filled with fun, excitement and adventure as Pacha'ka, Mike, Bobby, Kontus and Illia race around the galaxy in search of an ancient artifact. What they find defies physics and the natural order of the universe, but sqwish prevails! A definite must read.

A truly delightful tale of mystery and exploration in the Charlieverse. It is a great addition to the Charlie Boone stories even without the presence of Charlie and the core gang. I definitely liked the ending that added a whole civilization to help in the future. Talk about adding a lot of characters. I was intrigued by the description of the Hartonin and hope future tales will reveal more about them. I had a lot of fun reading this. Thank you for the unexpected new story. I am glad you found the time to add this story.

The Hartonin are an interesting people and sound quite friendly. Their determination to continue the planned expedition in face of failure is admirable. However, I am sure that the guys will be able to help them both escape the loop and return to their own time if that is advisable. What happens after that is definitely a big mystery and may remain so depending on the author. Great job of keeping the suspense geared up to maximum without any life threatening situations, Geron!

Bobby's observation led to the the enlistment of the big gun in time management! I am glad Max was called in, but thought for a minute the story wash ending. Then Max noticed the time loop. I am so enjoying the mystery and the guys working as a team to solve the problems are fun. The mystery of who or what is stuck in the time loop is interesting considering all the possibilities. I have my guess, but it's just a hunch. I think that the Hartonin are not likely to the ones stuck. I would think if they could have built this monster machine, they would have the diagnostic tools available to see what it was doing before they tested it with their lives. Great chapter! I love learning new things, and the Tipler cylinder was a new one for me.

Did I forget to mention I hate cliffhangers longer than one chapter? It's cheating to start a chapter with a cliffhanger. I do hope it is resolved by the end of the next chapter.
