I actually meant both @Bill W. Here in Thailand, frosted banana cake, banana muffins, banana bread, and many more edibles (maybe not for DocPaladin), like candies are popular. Green bananas are a staple of many savory recipes also. -

I also don't like overripe bananas, and banana cake is also on my list of don't likes. I like almost-ripe bananas and some desserts like Banoffee pie with lots of whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings on top. -
It's kind of like a storm building, but we don't know from which direction it is coming or how powerful it will become when it strikes. I also am concerned about this. This vicious organization needs to be taken down. I fear many lives will be lost if Hudson's cover is blown.

Like you, @Summerabbacat, I don't think Jackie is very smart, nor will he give up on pursuing Otis. Hudson is no fool, so I think that Jackie will have any cunning plans Jackie develops will be foiled by Hudson. If Jackie tries to discredit Hudson, Otis would be upset at Jackie, not Hudson.

I had the same and hated it! Hope it ends soon, Clo.

It sounds like we shared some of the same neighbours, Bill.

I loved how Janice sneakily manoeuvered Harry to ask Michael to stay and protect him from Janice. I was LMAO when Harry asked Michael to stay with him. Sorry @Bill W, but . You'll just have to keep reading to find out what the program for the Christmas show will include. Just know Stacy has a lot more time to plan this one than the first show.

Thanks again, @Ajbt2001. I do have to admit that we work well together and often seem to be on the same wavelength.

Surrounded by a group of cowboy pervs? I feel so much at home. Reserve me a front-row seat, Gary!

Black bananas make the best banana cakes, however. -
Thanks again for the nice compliments @Ajbt2001! However, I want to make it clear that @Mancunian is the master weaver of this wonderful tale. I'm only responsible for a few nicks, tucks, and many commas and full stops. Creating the wonderful characters, impressive settings and twisting plot is entirely in the talented and skilled hands of Mancunian.

Not with my luck. Once upon a time, while travelling home with a friend and his dog, we were subjected to said dog's flatulence releases the entire trip while riding in a VW bug with windows up due to the weather for 130 miles (about 215 km).

Or those kinds of farts produced by a veggie-eating dog?
-
I like both ideas but would prefer the trip to outer space. I just cannot decide whether a slow death in a suit or a painful but quick explosion without the suit would be better. 🤔

Interesting ideas @weinerdog. The first thing Harlan needs to do to make that happen is stop being jealous of Greg and figure out what really is happening when Bailey and Greg are communicating.

It would be awesome if Brad and Charlie could assist by doing the "Dirty Dancing" for them as they sing. Oh, @Bill W, You had me down the rabbit hole looking at the video. I didn't know whether to laugh or sigh. I can't believe that some people ever thought dancing like that was 'dirty'. I never looked as good as Swayze, but my moves were much more naughty.
-
Excellent idea! I'll do just that, thanks.

Hi Albert! Guess what. I made chicken and cheese enchiladas today. Aod likes to call them Mexican pizzas even though there is a mere tablespoon of tomato paste in the sauce. I have whole wheat tortillas and enough leftover sauce to make breakfast burritos with sausage, egg, cheese and avocado tomorrow. Hopefully, they will look something like this.

2023/2024 Writing Event Announcement - A Tribute to Carlos Hazday
raven1 commented on Valkyrie's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Thanks for doing this, Val. I've decided to contribute a poem as a tribute to Carlos. -
Me, too. I'll take a wild guess. It's kbois' husband. Kbois and Clarence...hmm.

This novella has an interesting combination of the elements of different genrès. It is a mystery romance filled with historical facts and real-life locations. Throughout is the pervading supernatural thread upon which the story revolves. Excellent writing that flows well makes this a must-read.

This was a unique and interesting world you created @paren01! I have enjoyed reading and exploring side-by-side with these great characters. This was an interesting mystery with a lot of real history. That's a great combination. I do hope you write that sequel.

Amelia's suggestion has brought them to the place they have been searching for. I hope Boris is nowhere near either group. The next chapter will be very interesting when Winston and James meet the spirits(?) waiting for them in the cave. I don't know why the boys are surprised that everyone knows they are a couple. Nice cliffhanger, Paren!

There were two new planes, three new staff members, and most importantly, Charlie. Greg and Scott are like magnets when it comes to acquiring people, things and power. Now, he has to go home, muddle through the lot and figure out what to do with it/them all. Poor Billy. He hasn't had to chance to bed with Scott and Greg, possibly being sent to live somewhere else, nor even allowed to break Greg's arm or wrist. How's he supposed to do his job living 3 hours away? At least Greg has started planning and assigning the tasks.

Not too bad, Page. Considering I just got up and haven't finished my first cup of coffee, I'm a little more alert than my usual zombie state. How are things for you guys?
