Last things first. That last video left me laughing so much. I do get your points and again feel fortunate have found this forum. Your writing tips are so well written and entertaining. I have learned a lot in the short time I have been following your essays. I thought that this essay would be in perfect sync with a book I started today. The first chapter is titled "Insta-hate". However, it is a romantic comedy much like your Jessie-101. Though I see many of the points you made are very relevant to the current story I began, I also see some differences. I would appreciate knowing how the idea of writing arguments applies to stories like Jessie-101. I'm not talking about the arguments between Tristan and Jason, but those between Tristan and Lori, or Tristan and Scottie. Thanks again for this wonderful essay!

Hook, line, sinker! You caught me with this great romantic comedy. I fell in love with comedy romance as a 10 year old watching Doris Day and Rock Hudson dueling it out in "Pillow Talk" at the Saturday Matinee. It is uproarious to watch their attraction and dueling denials as they dance around each other on the campus. The attraction will be magnetic if they ever get their poles aligned properly. The hug followed by a race to the bathroom to do the necessary. Perfect timing. Well.....something like that. Yep! These two are in for a physical confrontation. I don't know if they will be using fists, or mouths (in a colossal argument, of course) or some other body part, but it will be epic! Bad boy vs good guy will be an entertaining bout. You have a very wicked sense of humor @Laura S. Fox!

I have a mixologist friend, and asked him to come up with some mango habanero whiskey cocktail recipes for you. Can I get out of the corner now?

Very good! Had a Date Night with Aod, won some pool games at the pub and No hangover today. Can't get much better than that!
-
With your great sense of humor I have a very difficult time of believing that!

Hi Drew! Give your dad a big Just remember to use candles on the cake not nukes.

I never really doubted you.

OK, I'm curious. Is that a book, TV show, movie or an in-law visiting with their motorhome? (The last suggestion is from personal experience.)

What little is known about JJ peaks my interest, but I was fully captivated by Ray. Too bad he is straight! His cute nerdiness, humor and lively nature makes me want to cuddle up with him. Mad Dawg is also a bit of an unknown, but he has a very interesting assortment of friends and doesn't seem to be judgemental. He thinks of himself as straight, so being a straight bad boy, MD is not the man for JJ. JJ and MD seem to have not only been attracted to each other, but established a mutual hate for each other. This is a great start to the story and sets up the foundation for a lot of mayhem.

I pretty sure that @drpaladin and I have some ideas on the local boys, especially after your hint James. I did go back to read their description after the good doctor's comment. I'm in total agreement. 🤔

What a surprise to be back in Ravello so soon. It seems that Ravello quickly dissipated Reza's negative attitude. I am looking forward to see how quickly he becomes engaged with the town and its people. Hope your bella vacanza is great!

Now that I got the comments commented upon I can comment on the story. Loovvee Mama! Kage and she were perfectly matched, and the interrogation ended in a win for Kage. The dinner a win for Mama and her extremely hot meatloaf. Kage playing with the kids and answering their questions was unexpected considering his childhood. Kage is getting the family he never knew he wanted. It's going to be interesting how things work out for them all. PS Have mercy for Tyler in the tent while Kage and Elijah get it on. PPS I love Papi too. I think he's one of those calm, quiet background characters that you forget until he sneaks up behind you and knocks you senseless with a cast iron frying pan.

My most insincere apology for being late to the party. Date Night with my boyfriend takes precedence. First things first, I can to catch up on the comments: "blatantly bribed your way " That was a low blow @kbois! Hmm? Maybe I should have made that comment about Kage's lesson. Don't. You. Dare. @Mrsgnomie Breaking a contract with your readers could result in them taking sides with kbois for many years to come. Twelve toes kbois? Sounds like wishful thinking by an author with a kinky fetish. @drpaladin Thanks for the hilarious trip down memory lane with the Alka Seltzer commercial. As for the impending cliffhanger. Not worried. Kage and Elijah can take care of themselves. Tyler may be a bit more vulnerable, but Elijah can rescue him before Tyler hits the bottom of the cliff.

Lost Inside is one of five books in the Carthera tales. These stories are exciting novels with the main three grouped as the Carthera Takeover stories, and the other two as side stories. Lost Inside tells the story of Benny and his true mate Yuri. Benny and Yuri were violently separated by Yuri's hateful father. Benny is about to go feral at the loss of his mate, and Yuri has reverted to a child like state due to brain damage inflicted by his father. Benny (with the help of friends he has gathered during the prior stories in this universe) sets out to reclaim his love and exact revenge. This is one of my favorite stories in the series....a wonderful and compelling read with a simply perfect happy ending. The universe of the Carthera is a delicate crafting of an alternate Earth reality where humans and a variety of shifter species exist in an unsettled and uneasy peace. @Cia has filled this universe with a wealth of wonderful characters you will come to love or loathe. Cia is known for her marvelous twisted plots that will leave you holding your breath. Fortunately, this is an archived series, so you won't have to hold your breath long. Cia also has a very evil sense of humor which she effectively uses for some fun comic relief to the emotional ups and downs she creates. Dialogues sparkle with life and enhance the characters as they react to the adventure, dangers, and romance in the stories. I would suggest reading the entire series in the following order to enjoy them more completely. Bonds Unbroken (1. Carthera Takeover) Inside of You (Carthera Tales) Two of a Kind (2. Carthera Takeover) Hypnotic (3. Carthera Takeover) Lost Inside (Carthera Tales)

I have enjoyed the story and loved these characters. This simple happy ending was perfect. There are a lot of loose ends that could be picked up, but that seems to not have happened. Not a problem, since there are now many other stories you have written that I want to check out! I do love the Carthera universe you created. It is quite memorable.

I am happy Yuri's second encounter is more peaceful. Carlit is in need of some healing. The Tiger Clans must be very desperate to have supported this horribly evil experiment to increase their numbers.
-
I am happy that Yuri is progressing, and that he didn't have anything more than a headache from his encounter with Peten. I do worry about Carlit and hope he gets help soon. As always your dialogues are so skillfully written that they not only sound real, but also clearly reflect the moods of each of the characters.
-
Sounds like a good combination. I have to say I didn't even know Japanese had a version of potato salad until I move here. I ordered it with my sushi combo when I first saw it on the menu. 😄
-
We know Peten's story and how sorry he is for not defending Yuri. Yuri is obviously shocked to see him, but how does he feel? What will his reaction be to Peten and Carlit's presence in his home?
-
Benny's speech was brief and forceful. It succeeded in getting things done even if it gave him a headache. Carlit and Peten seem to be victims much like Yuri. I think that Yuri will somehow be a part of their cure. I wonder why Benny wants to talk with the old Tiger.
