It is interesting to see the development of the rogue alpha in this story. Michael however is lucky to still be alive. I was very surprised the rogue pack beta wasn't immediately terminated. The discussion between Aiden and Jean-Pierre was was very interesting to this long time fan of sci-fi as I remembered so many of the series mentioned. The corruption of the lycan government is disgusting and I hope it all gets taken down after Aiden is returned safely. Looking forward to meeting John's parents soon. Also, I hope we find out more about the solaris, "Paul".

Casey seems to attract a variety of different lycans. A big switch from what he used to do. I bet he gets a lot of teasing from the rest of his friends. I do wonder if Paul will realise how much better his life would be if he helped the Parker Valley Pack instead of the gang's pack. He could be a key player to defending against attack and preventing a lot of death and damage to the pack. Great chapter once again.

The pack meeting where Ethan was legally adopted by the Tucker family, as well as become a full member of the pack was sweetly written. I was very touched by the love and loyalty displayed by the entire pack of 600 wolves and other species. I am anxious over the infiltrator, Paul. He can do much damage. He seems to have avoided those who can detect him. I wonder if Casey is texting a certain solaris. Ethan being able to cure 9 ferals at the same time and still remain able to walk out of the room on his own is a testament to his growing power. I guess it is like a shift, the more you do it the easier it gets.

What an amazing first shift for Ethan. Your description was almost like seeing an extremely great special effects scene in a good sci-fi or fantasy movie. I could easily imagine the beauty of the four elements combining to create the scene of colour provided by the flowers, flames and water. I wonder if Ethan's ability to heal becomes more powerful and controlled. That he is also an alpha and had two shifts to two forms was a surprising twist in the plot. With all the howling, I hope the gang wolves were oblivious to what just happened. I am so loving this tale.

The gift of a new home, one Ethan helped build, was a wonderful idea. I especially liked that it is Craftsman style, because it is my favourite and fits so well in the woods. Ethan's idea to have Casey live in the guesthouse was also a great idea, and provided so much fun with all the teasing involved. Family help to move the three added much more humour. I loved Mary's comment to Casey about what kind of magazines she liked. The feral wolf in this chapter is much more complex and so is also more interesting. I hope he will be able to remember more. He seems so young and vulnerable. John's decision to treat him as a son was a touching moment. I think the solaris lion or lioness will not be able to sneak in without one of the three who can identify it from knowing. I hope that the solaris will be convinced to switch sides, and give more details to John, Rafe and the sheriff. A lot of information here, but so clearly written and paced it was easy to absorb and understand. Great writing!

Great party! I think that the lion may have some interest in a cute young enforcer who happens to be the brother of Ethan. The pack now aware of the threat to its security has one more GPS tagged feral to deal with.

Aiden telling Alpha Stockdale about his unusual shift was the right thing to do. Just like his declaration of loyalty, it makes Aiden an important member of the pack. He will do well under the mentorship of the alpha. The release of feral wolves seems to lead the rogue wolves to believe what Michael has told them. I hope that when they are healed, they will be able to tell Alpha Stockdale information that warns him to the danger the pack if facing.

Terry had an eventful evening with first the ghost, and then the texting. It was so funny that he spilled the lube on the phone. I don't know why he would fix the phone instead of getting a new model. Dan and Terry wouldn't need to worry about texting to have fun then. I was surprised that the ghost appeared again, and that Dan could also see it. It did cause Dan enough of a fright to consider a seance. Also gave Terry the excuse to distract Dan when they got to Dan's apartment. Great chapter that was nicely paced. I always like the little bits of humour you add.

You got Aido spot on with his reactions to Matt and Seamus picking him up. Poor Loren got a little hurt, but Aido wasn't about to do anything except cling to his dads after a week away. Of course as was pointed out by Jay, Aido will be all over loren when next they meet. I'm hoping that Loren and Seamus will grow closer, and that fact that Matt and Seamus showed up at the party is a positive step. The discussion about double standards went well. Jay still has some progress to make in that area. I think he is hinting that Loren's concern for Jay's safety is legitimate. Jay is definitely thinking long term and wants Loren to be part of the process. That's why Jay asked Loren for his opinion on retirement. I do like the way they ended the discussion. Can't wait to find out how the visit to the training camp goes.

Kaplan and Cyrus completing their mating bond was brilliantly written. Their mating echoed their love for each other as well as their individual personalities. Vincent's trip to EC was quick and almost proforma. I suspect that Marlo is much like Cyrus and knows that Vincent will fit the job of auditor well. The introductions and interview was simply to follow the rules and produce the results as expected and planned for. Well paced chapter that was a pleasant way to catch up on what was happening with Cyrus and Kaplan.

The long awaited mating of Aiden and Ethan was not what I expected. Ethan's reactions to the bite and infection by the virus was difficult to read. About the only thing I can say is that I hope his recovery is quick. He will probably need all the strength he can build for when he first turns. The first turn is supposed to be where the danger is greatest to a turned human. If his powers are as great as his suffering, they are going to be far more than just impressive. Michaels time is the Underworld was disgusting, so I am relieved we didn't spend much time in hell with him. Since there were four wolves sent out to test the pack's defences, were Anthony and Jonas part of the group of feral wolves? If so, the dead feral, Anthony and Jonas only make 3. That would me there is one more out there.

Michael will definitely cause trouble for Aiden and Ethan. I am sure that one of his parents will end up having to kill Michael, no matter how much they love him. Right now, I feel very sad for Michael's parents who are Michael's victims as much if not more than anyone else in the pack. I did like the good news of Aiden's new job and his proposal of marriage to Ethan. After all these really great chapters of feel good events, I suspect we are close to some horrific events soon.

Nice relaxing and playful chapter. It helps balance some of the tension and anxiety of Ethan as well as readers. After finding out more about the rescued feral wolves, I hope that they can find protection and safety in Alpha Stockdale's pack. There does seem a reason for feral wolves to be attracted to Ethan. Does Ethan have some sort of signal that draws the feral wolves to him for help?

Chris's talk with his parents indicate he desires to change. Unfortunately, he still has to put up Michael as they cross the country to Oregon. Tyler, Kevin and Connor are truly trying to make amends. I hope that continues and they make friends with their former enemies. It is strange that the feral wolves seem to be targeting Ethan. Alpha Stockdale needs to find out why the wolves are seeking out Ethan. Ethan seems to have a power to heal them, but how do they know how to find him? Another wonderful chapter.

I feel so much sadness for Jackie and Alpha Stockdale. Allowing exile has only delayed the inevitable. One of them will eventually have to kill their son. Jackie has made her husband promise that it would be one of them. Michael will defiantly do what he wants the minute he thinks he as escaped from the pack. What happens after will be disastrous for the pack, since Michael will be out for vengeance with no tethers on his actions.

So all it takes is some fireworks to inspire Ethan to make Aiden his mate. The tribunal has a very tough decision to make. Either way the Alpha and Luna will be hurt. I can accept exile, but don't believe for a minute that exile will take Michael out of the picture. Michael will find out some way to get revenge on all he thinks have hurt him. Looking forward to what happens when Aiden and Ethan finally be come mated.

All the comments have pushed me to start some research. Originally, I had thought that Ethan might be an elemental. However, according to the mythology given in the 101 lesson, that would mean that Ethan doesn't have a soul until he mates. I cannot believe that Ethan is soulless, so that combined with his Celtic DNA would suggest he is a Druid. Ethan's anguish over killing the feral wolf was actually expected by me. Ethan values life and nature dearly, so destroying life affects him deeply. I do hope that he will be able to heal enough to mate soon. That change will make him stronger to defend those he loves. I also noticed that Ethan's recovery was much quicker this time. Excellent chapter, but so many questions still remain.

I do love the comments and have had to rethink my own guesses. I understand why both Stockdale and Rafe excluded themselves from administering punishments or judgements. Great writing! PS I'm surprised that no one suggested Ethan was a demigod like Percy Jackson.

Ethan's gift is strengthening. Does it draw power from his bond with Aiden? Tyler has seen the light, and his apology to both Aiden and Ethan was sincere. I do hope that he can get this wish he told the guys. Stockdale's beta did exactly what the Alpha told him to do. I did scare the life out of Chris, and got the truth out of Michael. Maybe more truth than Michael had wanted to give out. Michael's remaining alive and part of the pack is no longer a question. He's leaving the pack one way or another. Leaving Michael alive with still leave the pack, Aiden and Ethan in danger, because Michael is too much a psychopath to stop himself from hurting others.

I'm going with the water elemental. All the clues fit this conclusion, including the one given by the Elder when telling the mythology of lycans. It was either the elder or the alpha that mentioned that the eye colour was associated with something more ancient than the shifters. That would be an elemental. Considering all Ethan has done, that makes him a water elemental. Michael's fate, either exile or death rests upon his father who can no longer ignore Michael's psychotic nature that threatens the survival of the pack. He finds out as much as he can stand to know, then leaves the investigation to those he trusts after instructing them to find out what happens no matter the cost to Michael.

The chapter was a fun romp thru ancient mythology! I enjoyed reading it and had to laugh a few times at the imagination and research it took to create this Lycan POV of the ancient beliefs. Of course this could have been extended to almost any part of the world, but you wisely kept it focused. No that there are two wolves who suspect Ethan's true nature, I am hoping it will be revealed soon. I am not sure when, but suspect it will appear when there is the greatest need. I also suspect it will be a time of danger for Ethan, and that means Michael will somehow be involved. If Ethan is some other species than wolf, will his mating with Aiden change his animal? More questions without answers WolfM. I want some answers!

Very intriguing chapter. First we get the meeting with another gay couple who are different species from each other and not wolves. The horse ride was excellent and so romantic. The hike was what was very intriguing. Rising water droplets? Blue eyes? I wonder if Ethan has some power related to static electricity. Not a shifter power, but would be very helpful when in danger. I remember when they first touched there was a mention of the shock that passed between them. I want to know more! I am having a fun time reading this story. Thanks so much WolfM!
