Hey @84Mags! Since kbois has hinted at the appearance of Rosalie in the future, we will both have to wait. It's going to get me cranky if it takes too long. Here are two more interesting details from Cassiel's talk with Elijah that might be of interest. I would also mention that I didn't find anything about Guardians indicating they were more or less powerful than the other elementals. As far as I know, Guardians were simply a group of elementals assigned the job of protecting the Veil.

I honestly loved reading this story in spite of the sometimes academic lessons on business and law. The story is a rewrite of a much larger story created by the author in his youth. The rewrite is extremely extensive but brings depth to both the plot and characters. It creates a new and unique vampire universe with many different characteristics. However, you won't realize that until the end of this book. Whether the author considers this a prequel or the first book of a saga, you will enjoy this supernatural delight. The best thing about it? This is just the beginning!

Looks like we have a lot more books to read in the future. The rewrite is vastly different than the original on the other site. I think I'm going to continue that story also, considering how different that is from this story. I hope we won't have to wait months for the next book since you left us with a cliffhanger.

Harry and Draco bonding? Draco better let Harry know the truth soon. The bond strengthens Harry's power. Will it also strengthen Draco's?

I like that Draco used his family name with Harry. It seems appropriate considering that Draco has in effect been reborn as an elf. It also represents the rebirth of his soul and his power of healing.

I don't think anyone would call Jubal clueless. He's complex and always analyzes things carefully. He sometimes overthinks and comes to the wrong conclusion, but that's a long way from being oblivious to Lucas' flirting. I can easily understand why Lucas is smiling, and I would be also if I were looking at Jubal's backside. Jubal's reaction is proof that he is not clueless, but does tend to overthink.

Hi Gary! I just finished reading it. I really liked the last few paragraphs best! I know it is a slow burn, but can hardly wait for the clothes to come off of these two. I hope Jubal knows how to build a durable, long lasting bed.🤞

Actually, Aod and his niece May are currently gaming in the living room. Since she moved to Chiang Mai a few months ago, she usually comes over for dinner and a visit once or twice a week. Aod and I are both well, although like a lot of us here, I did have some problems sleeping a couple of nights this week.

Great chapter Gary! I love the interplay as Jubal and Lucas take turns observing each other and gently press for information about what the other is thinking. The nuance dialogue kept me a bit tense, but never worried. I don't think Lucas was manipulating Jubal, but Lucas' side of the conversation seemed more controlled while Jubal's was more guarded. I am happy they decided to check out the wilding herd and came up with a grand plan to get as many of the herd as they could. The new partnership will draw them closer together. I liked the last remark that Lucas made and Jubal caught him looking. I bet I'd have a smile on my face like Jubal did if that happened to me.

Fainting definitely fits the occasion. The brave Prince Draco gets to meet his longtime rival. I wonder if the elves that rescued both boys are dark elves.

It didn't take long for Voldemort to strike the elves. I hope that Draco finds something to prove the innocence of Slythersend. The celebration and recognition of Prince Draco went well. I did have to laugh about the comment I made before about Oliver and Draco. I didn't imagine that Oliver was already taken by Orion.

Draco is so amazing as an elf. I'm glad Lord Malfoy got his just end. I wonder if the witch Draco defeated and left bound up is Bellatrix. I was surprised that Draco has yet another interesting power, healing. Oliver Wood looking adoringly at Draco? That could be a very interest relationship to explore.

Hi Bucket! Sounds like the weather there is a bit confused about the season. It's a little less confused here with rain storms all week. The temperature is predicted to fall to 24C on Wednesday and then bounce back up to 32C by Saturday. Hope you are doing well!

There are some interesting differences between elven magic and the magic of wizards. It's small differences like these that make the story interesting and unique. I would listen to Draco if I were his father. Draco knows how Voldemort thinks. It wouldn't surprise me if old Volde hasn't already contacted the dark elves.

Draco's appearance has changed as well as the character. I like the changes. His new power probably means he will be a great warrior. He certainly made a point of defending the recruit from the abusive instructor. There are also some interesting details about the world in which Draco now lives.

A very interesting start that promises to bring out a different Draco. I wonder how much the removal of the glamours has changed his appearance.

Hudson's trying to teach Otis restraint was amusing since it was evident that Hudson couldn't demonstrate restraint when it came to Otis. I also had to chuckle when Otis got the thought that maybe Hudson wasn't pleased by Otis' skill at oral sex and decided he needed a lot more practice. I guess we all know who will be the practice dummy. Then Otis decides that Hudson needs to sleep on a bed and not the sofa, so he decides to make a list of reasons to convince Hudson to sleep with him. Going by what Hudson is thinking, the only reason Hudson would need is an invitation from Otis. I do like the new clues and hints about Otis' past. His mother caused a lot of problems for Otis that his grandmother tried to fix. Great chapter Laura. (The sex was hot!)

Great chapter with the family, friends and kids happily sharing a meal. Kudos for pointing out how excellent homemade croutons are for the soup (as well as other dishes). I am a little bit sad that both Roger and Jean are beginning to show their age. You also have left us with questions about why Colin wasn't smiling when he talked to Geno and why Armand feels something is wrong. At least now everything is set for Charles and Pierre to be adopted very soon.
