    Chapter 2

One thing I forgot (and just reread) was Cassiel's talk with Sebastian's pack after the twin's rescue near the end of book 2. I'm cutting Caleb some slack, because his decision, even if bad, was due to the situation created by Huntington, Vann's (she-wolf slut) mother, Brioc and Puck. Alpha Caleb felt deep guilt about not acknowledging his son Vann to protect Vann from Huntington. Any person would probably do the same as Caleb did to protect his son once again from the evil that faced young shifters. A situation created by Brioc's criminal act, Puck's dastardly prank, and Huntington quest for revenge. I also think that things may pick up a bit now that Asa is here. After all, every good shifter needs to be prepared for the war with Huntington which is only months away.

    Chapter 2

Asa is a great new character. I just hope @kbois lets him live a lot longer than Kage. Asa is apparently an elemental-shifter like Kage, and kbois has a record of killing off these kinds of shifters. (I have heard she is wanted for questioning by the Imperial Fea Police.) The New Mexico kidnapping making the news was a big surprise. I thought the shifter council would try to keep things like this out of the news. I am as baffled as Asa. I'm not sure how Cameron's situation would be directly connected to this new story. This is either a setup for another twist or another red herring. I think it is a red herring. I was relieved that Caleb is regaining his health. I suspect he will be physically OK. I do suspect that this is just about the time that Elijah and Tyler find the twins on Corbin's ranch. By his looks based on the quote from book 2, Caleb has not been affected by Asa. Maybe we will know better by the next chapter. This might even be a day or two before or after the twins' rescue near Gile's Pack. Just a thought. Is Huntington connected to Caleb's shooting?

    Chapter 20

Trust me @Lee Wilson, I'm still mad, although I love the author and the story. Recently however, @kbois has been showing remorse. She was moaning over killing one of her favorite main characters. Since you are close to the end of this book, I suggest you start reading the Hybrid Journey books. The murder is in the second book, but definitely start with the first book. She's currently posting the third book now, so you can join in the fun when you catch up. Lay off the dog! He's very sweet, nice, and nips not bites. As a member of the Krew, I would like to say we are not brutal, but cannot. In our defense, we only send back what we receive from kbois, plus a lick or two from the @weinerdog!
  4. 🔼 Hey, that's an idea! As part of the celebration, we could create a wall of memorable quotes of Drewth like this!
  5. To quote Drewdo:
  6. Just a gentle reminder that Drew was wrong long, long years before then. I would suggest a name change like Drewdo's Day of Drewth. It could be like a Guy Fawkes Day.
  7. Hi Clo! Is the weather OK there? Since it is harvest season, have you been doing any canning? Hope your weekend is fun.
  8. Hi Page! How's the weekend playing out for your family?
  9. Hey Spike! Don't let Drew be a wet blanket for a celebration of the anniversary next month. As for the pocket money from your car cash reserves, when you collect them the coins might be collector's items and a great investment. I don't carry cash or coins anymore. I pay for everything using my banking app on my phone.
  10. Howdy Man! Hope you are recovering faster now you are home from the hospital. Did you have a lot of work to catch up? I hope not much work, since you probably need to get more rest and less stress right now.
  11. Hi Gary! How are you doing? I hope you are feeling much better. How's the Fall weather there this year?
  12. Hi Drew, I just love it when you get all excited over the word Drewth. Since it was invented by Spike, I think the parade should be in Texas...right in front of the Imperial Palace.
  13. Hi Cassie! Glad you found your book. I hate the frustration of 'losing' things, and often felt a victim of ADHD. Fortunately, my doctor focused me on all the great things I got by being ADHD, like a very vivid imagination, empathy, and free association. Hope you are having a great weekend!
  14. Hi @Bucket1, Great research. Maybe we should celebrate the occasion with fireworks and a parade. It might even become an annual event.
  15. Hi All! Looks like you all had fun last night!
  16. I got one of those too. I consider it my mobile time capsule.
  17. Me! I also am a person with ADHD. Over the years, I have developed some habits that reduce the number of times something like this happens. Unfortunately, it still happens too damned often.

    Chapter 10

I agree with @drsawzall. I think that Robert is the exception that proves Doc's statement. It's too bad that most businesses and the staff do not have the same policy as Robert. His focus on getting a customer and serving them well to come back for the next 20 years is what all salespersons should strive to do. Bit by bit all the business pieces are falling into place. I thought it amusing that the dichotomy of names vs. Dad caused Scott to stumble a bit. I hope they can get the companies up and started soon.
  19. Laura sure has me twisted up in this plot. I know what I want, but not sure where this will end up. (Jamie just got a whole lot sexier with his compassionate understanding and support.) Francine is a surprising hero who has shaken Rusty out of his depression. One comment mentioned that Rusty might chanced upon the funeral and that might be the spark, but I think the Xpress diatribe will be the thing that gets Rusty going. Rusty knows he loves Matty and will race to defend Matty from the vicious attack on Matty's character. I'm going to have a difficult time waiting for the next installment.

    Chapter 16

Drake being a dragon was awesome even in his small form. I wonder how big the large form will be. The cave system was impressive. The pack is far richer than I expected. However, I do want to know what is "deep in the cavern". I like the way Connor thinks about an inclusive pack. It further demonstrates his big heart. It is interesting that young Connor is already known to the shifter council. Shamus is a wise man who understands that tradition should change when times have changed. Excellent writing, especially the description of the caverns.
  21. If unopened, you can use it for a year after the sell-by date, so unless it has been opened and in the refrig for more than 6 months, it should be OK.
  22. Hey Drew! May give a piece of advice? I would like to suggest you use gifs that don't use minions. People might wonder why you look up to them to represent your answers.😇
  23. I second that. Graduated bifocals are good once you get used to them. However, until you do there is a big danger in walking while wearing them. It's like wearing reading glasses while walking.
  24. In Chiang Mai, the temperature has hovered around 25 C for the last two days. Slightly lower at night and slightly higher during the day. Almost constant rain from heavy rain to torrential downpours. Mostly the downpours. I'm glad to have an extra huge umbrella. It ensures that I can get to the car without getting waterlogged.
  25. Hi W_L, I thought you might like this post-viral interview of the cheerleader, Austin Beam. I enjoyed the interview and think you might also like it.
