Hi Gary! Hope you had a good day. Is the weather up north OK? I'm loving Bearpaw and looking forward to the next chapter.

Hey Spike! With all you guys are sharing about Only Friends, I think I may need to start watching. Sounds like you had a good weekend so far.

Hi Bucket!

Thanks, Man. Hope you are well and also having a good weekend.

August asked who Rusty was comparing himself to in the analogy he was drawing between his parents, and Rusty and Matty. I think he was correct when he said he was both parents. He is playing the broken mother and the runaway father. Rusty wants to be independent of both of these people and think about who he is as an individual. He also needs to remember that Matty has a right to make decisions for himself. Hopefully, Rusty with August's help will realize the mistakes he is making, and try to at least talk to Matty. Then, he can let Matty get to know the real Rusty. I'm hoping that Maddox and Jonathan will contact August to tell her how devastated Matty feels. Maybe she can somehow use that information to make Rusty understand he has hurt Matty in the worst possible way. He's not protecting Matty by hiding and running away.

Hi @Anton_Cloche! I loved you using those old phrases to play with Tsosie's name. lol! I chose to word 'beliefs' because I suspect her beliefs may not relate to sexuality, based on many clues left by the author. Between the dreams and Connor's emergence as a wolf shifter, I suspect that her beliefs may be about something supernatural in the nature of Dakota.

The feeling is mutual, my dear friend!

Thanks, @FanLit! Your kind words made my day even better. I also enjoy your comments which provide me with new insights and opinions that cause me to think.

I'm glad you love your classes because they do sound like a lot of work. I have fun in second-hand stores, especially looking for books. I usually paid a visit to a local bookstore at least once a month when I was in the US. Aod and I did have fun with our friends. This morning I did get frustrated with my computer. For some reason, it would not recognize my password. I did get it fixed after a couple of frustrating hours.

Hey All! Party night with Aod and friends. I'll check in with you all in about 18 hours from now. (Estimated time to party, sleep and have two or three coffees to revive me.)

Hi Clo! Hope you have fun this weekend. How's school going for you? Be sure to tease Drew and Spike for me!

Hi Albert! Please let Steve know I said 'Hello!' to him also. Hope you two have a great weekend.

Hi Page! I wish you, Morgan and Max have a great weekend ahead! I always enjoy hearing your updates on family life.

Exactly! Dayna would hate what is happening if she were alive, but she loved her kids and would want the best for them. I do believe that she would understand that Perry and Kyan raising her children is the best possible outcome. If she did not, then she wouldn't be the loving mother her family knows.

I agree about the posting here. The guidelines have been updated, and if you have problems there are so many ways you can get help from people here. The first or second time may take help, but you won't have to wait forever to get it. I never had to wait more than 24 hours for help, and many times got immediate responses. By the third time, posting was very easy. Being new to posting poems, I did have to wait a few days while in mediation, but that requirement goes away for recognized authors who post a lot.

This was a very well-written chapter. The dialogue was carefully written to dance around a situation created by Miss Tsosie's beliefs. The conversation could appear the same in a discussion of sexuality, but that's not the case here. That's why I think the dialogue is so skillful and authentic. Of course, I also like the idea that we know Naiche is both a blood relative and now legally a son. I do agree that Dakota may need to have a talk with the other boys, but still feel that Wamblee is more than aware of what Dakota and Naiche both are.

I might actually agree with this if Dayna was alive. Kyan and Dayna would have to interact with both Perry and the family. However, she's been dead for six years, and Perry has been there to raise her children and help Kyan for those six years. Danya and Kyan's foundation existed for three years, but Perry and Kyan's foundation as best friends has lasted for nine years. Kyan needs to stop living those three years over and over again.

Dayna is haunting Kyan. Six years after her death she is still controlling him. I respect her less and less as I get to know her better. Dayna was the one with a problem and kept Perry and Kyan from communicating, but Kyan is now blaming Perry and the family. Kyan does need to have someone wake him up and bluntly tell him to stop living in the past. Kyan is wrong! Perry seems to think it is over and that is sad. Jessica should slap him and wake him up. One fight doesn't end a great relationship like Perry and Kyan have. They both need to move on. Very well written drama, and a courageous twist considering how vested most readers are in Perry and Kyan.

I don't doubt the explanation, but I also love pictures! Too bad GA has rules against them in the comments (but email works).

Hi Everyone! Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening!

Hi Dugh! Hope the doctors get back to you with something that will help. I appreciate the time you took to tell us more about what is happening with your health. I didn't know why you were having infusions, or what the treatment was that is causing you so many difficult side effects. I admit that I went down the rabbit hole to find out more. I was happy to know that the treatment side effects are temporary usually, and that the successful treatment means that you won't have to deal with TED in the future. Wishing you the best. BTW, I hate "professionals" like that nurse who don't know how to admit they don't know the solution and throw out idiotic suggestions that can adversely affect a person's health. She should have listened carefully and recorded what you said to report to the doctor, not diagnose and suggest treatment.

The way you write your descriptions makes me doubt that anyone would find them tedious. I always find them interesting. Even in modern-day stories you write the descriptions are interesting and add flavor to the setting and atmosphere of the story. You have a great talent for this. It also shows in the poetry you write.
