    Inked

You have a way of making the characters who inhabit your stories/worlds jump off the page. It's as if they are people we know, or at least have seen "that guy." These two, I'd like to get to know better. I know artists like Canaan, and people like Ryker. The ones who appreciate the art form. I know I say it all the time, but thanks for introducing them to us, and sharing your gift with us. Molly
  2. Overwhelming Emotion indeed. Wow. I've read through it twice now, and both times there we moments, both different, when it actually took my breath away. Well done.
  3. Oh Tim. I am so very sorry that one persons comment put you in that place. I'm so very thankful that you have this circle of friends, this quasi family, to support and encourage you. It would appear that we've got your back! Molly xoxo

    Adieu

My heart ached when I read this the first time. A second read through didn't help. Then I followed the reviews. "What I write means nothing..." surely you can see by the reaction that your words do mean something to more than you. "I tire of the mediocrity..." of course you do! Because you want your work to progress, to grow. "So I shall no longer write poetry to share..." but please please still write. Even if it's just for you. Write it, save it for the future you. We've all been blessed by your words at one time or another. Your presence here is a gift to all of us. Please don't take that away. But if you do decide that is what you need to do, then know I will miss you, but it won't make me care for and about you any less. Molly xoxo
  5. Well hello there CJ! Good to have the guys back Carlos. I'm looking forward to following CJ's latest adventures. Lunch on Friday's will be so much better!
  6. Sasha...Welcome back! An eventful time for you and Cris! I had been thinking about you and had just finished re-re-reading American Songbook and look who posts a new story! Congratulations on everything! Molly
  7. Tim, we've talked about this, you and I. Seeing it here, and reading the responses makes me think about it again. It's been a life of interesting twists. Some wonderful, some really awful. Maybe this weekend I'll look at journals......and a nice pen. Thanks for sharing these thoughts. It's as I said before. What you write causes people to think. Molly xoxo
  8. Welcome back! It was good to catch up with the guys and know that their lives are moving ahead. Ryan's reactions to Clayton's "inner geek" is great. Even though, in your wonderful style, that gentle ribbing isn't detailed, I can "hear" it. Looking forward to the rest of the journey. Thanks again for sharing them with us. Molly
  9. What this poet writes moves people. It moves people to comment because the feelings are SO strong they are MUST come out. They demand to be shared. To make themselves known. The words move people to think. To think about their own lives. Their own loves. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Thank you Tim, thank you for sharing your gift with us. Molly xoxo
  10. Your way with words moves me. This time first to a smile, and the second, almost to tears. Thank you, again, for sharing your gifts with us.
  11. I hadn't even realized that this was a "thing" ! I'm going to have to go back through and read some. Thank you for taking the time to do this, I learned some about 3 authors I know, and one I'll have to look for now.

    The Jar

Oh Tim! That was wonderful! What a horribly delightful tale! I'll be checking all the stoneware jars at the local thrift and antique shops much more carefully!

    Chapter 4

I've just found the story, and I read it at lunch today. On my teeny, tiny phone screen! I love this take on shifters! I can't wait for more. The description of Kraig in the tub was heartbreaking, His stomach was concave under my hand, his hipbones jutting against his skin. How painful it is to see the one you love suffering so. Thank you for sharing them with us!
  14. If you write I'll read it and feel blessed you chose us to share your gift with.
  15. The first M/M shifter stories I read were Rob Colton's. Then Sasha's. They were a wonderful introduction to the genre. Then, I found Meta. I was/am fascinated by JAR's take on it. I have been reading since the beginning and have a love/hate relationship with the cliffhangers that he uses, lol! While I am a pretty new member, I do highly recommend these stories.
  16. I think that Cowboy Summer was on of the first stories I read on GA! I'm very excited for you!
  17. I was so pleased when I saw this! I can't wait to get to know Chet better! I also can't wait to see what they have planned as retribution for M & K! Thanks so much!

    Bring it on!

I just don't have words to tell you how happy I was to see this chapter today! I love these guys, this little ad-hoc family! I'm so happy for Dave and Barry that they are going so slow with the physical part of their relationship. It started in such an unorthodox way, and there was no way to take the "getting to know you part" slowly. But I must say, that was HOT! (we need some flames) I hope that DIC can get over his whatever about the money that Barry is bringing to their lives. It's not at all "who" he is. I'm glad that they took this option and can't wait to see what the future holds. Thanks again for sharing them with us!

    More questions

Kim's father is alive? I'm not sure that Kim will happy, at first, about this development. The doctor seems to be one of the good ones, but I'm not sure that Kim or Raeden are ready to trust anyone. Not even her. Good job, great chapter. Waiting none to patiently for the next one.
  20. I do believe in second chances. We call them "do overs" in our house. Especially when one party shows real contrition and has taken steps to make amends. What a sweet, sweet story! Maybe, one day soon, we'll be able to catch a glimpse of what their future held.

    Ignore It?

What a cute idea! Where I live it has been a cold dry winter, but I do feel for those in the "snow belt" this year. I was just a little thrown though that you used the Greek name for Hermes and Zeus, but not for Hera (Juno.) Juno is her Roman name. I know it's a bit persnickety, but it did bother that part of my brain that is a bit OCD about these kinds of things.
  22. HOLY CRAP! Why didn't Jason run? And what did Alexander do to Aaron? That was creeptacular! I do and I don't want to know what happens next.......
  23. Life ain't always beautiful, as Gary Allan sings, tears will fall sometimes, life ain't always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride. Sasha, your stories resonate so deeply because they are so well, real. Even the people who inhabit your stories that we start out not liking, (Kieran, Nathan, Kiorl, and Sathriel,) all have redeeming qualities. It just takes awhile for the layers to be peeled off. That real-ness, that authenticity, is what makes them all so unforgettable. It's why I thank you for sharing your gift with us, and why my face lights up when I see a new offering with your name attached. Chris (mollyhousemouse)
  24. Oh Sasha! What a wonderful interlude that was. What a perfectly matched pair they are. I love that Banning was completely lost to Kyle. Had her breath stolen like she had just been thrown from one of bulls after just a few seconds. Lost all of her "tom boy" when this beautiful thing sashayed by. I'm always thrilled to find something with your name on it, and this didn't disappoint! Thanks for branching out and exploring girl love! Loved it! Chris
  25. Sasha you are so sneaky! This is James and Peter from "Wolf in the Rectory"! I always wonder what happens to the people/characters in your smaller stories and now, we'll kind of find out! I can't wait to find out more about Hel and Aki! Thanks! Chris
