    Grant Chapter 4

I look forward to reading the details of the next chapter. You have put a lot of thought into these chapters.

    Chapter 8

Interesting thought: What if he had been Frank Lloyd Escher???

    Chapter 8

From "It's a Spooky Night Out There, Charlie Boone" -- Charlie had taken his newly minted driver's license - the only one in their little group thus far - and borrowed his Uncle Fred's pick up truck and driven the boys and all the donations down to to the hospital delivery entrance. And I had forgotten about Charlie's Aunt Clair from the very first story about Charlie and the guys.

    Chapter 1

ELF? According to acronymfinder dot com, the three main ELF acronyms are -- Extremely Low Frequency'; European Lung Foundation, and Earth Liberation Front. Other ELF acronyms include Elvish Language Fellowship (related to Elvish as in the works of J R R Tolkien) and Europe Lost and Found.

    Chapter 8

I have a semi-photographic memory. For example, Ricky's younger sister and even younger brother are mentioned in an early Charlie Boone Halloween story. Charlie's Uncle Fred is mentioned in an early Christmas story. Uncle Bob Travers is married to Susan. Auggie was well received in the second Twombly story. And so on. Ricky's sister has a good friend named Janie Pauley....

As long as they are pairs, and not pears!

    Chapter 8

Right, This is their THIRD house. They own a villa on Engris, and Jorli and Eseffa erected them a structure on Lyrgris as gratitude for their help with the Moth in the Lyrgris affair. Now, @Geron Kees -- we have heard almost nothing about their place on Lyrgris. Is it similar to the one on Engris?

    Chapter 1

@chris191070 and @hankster, this is your best collaboration yet! Great story. Growing up, I learned to type on an old Underwood typewriter, and when that messed up beyond repair, we got an old Smith-Corona. Both were manual typewriters. Great story, guys!

    Chapter 8

With regard to Kippy teleporting them to Engris, and reducing dependence on Murcha and Lollipop, Uncle Bob and Robin have already been to Engris, and could teleport them there. However, Kip might be available more quickly. Charlie and Rick might be able to work together to allow Charlie's second presence to go somewhere none of them have been, and transmit the image to Kip or Uncle Bob or Robin so they could teleport, as Charlie has done in the past with Max and Robin. Somewhat like the "new perspective" in your wowingly wondrous well-worth-reading-and-reading-again story, "The Case of the Short, Short Prince." It is very possible that Adrian could be then next of the original four to teleport, and it might end up being similar to Auggie's method. Perhaps with Adrian's electrical abilities the teleportee or teleportees would be transmuted into controlled electricity and transmitted from the beginning point to the ending point, being "reassembled" at the end point. In the lower level, can Charlie's second presence manifest physically? As always, @Geron Kees you are always welcome to use any of my ideas suggested here freely, and adapting any as you wish.

    Chapter 8

Oh, and how could I forget Sefton and Chirka? Keerby could see if Professor Pilfer J. Dithering and Costel could join them. Amy and Horace could be at both housewarmings, because they know the parents by now, surely.

    Chapter 8

Well, @Geron Kees -- Along with Max, Mrs. P could come, and Erma and Neelie could come, and Neelie's parents, Merl and Ada Umwald, Murcha and Onglet and Illia could be there the same way they came to Twombly, and what about Kiley and Kiri? Perhaps Ilessa could be there, and Reudi. Hendrick would probably have to stay where he is. Ian Llewellyn, perhaps? And it's about time for Ricky's younger sister and still younger brother to have their skwish develop and find out what's going on, and get in on some of the adventures. The guys could have a separate housewarming with Charlie's, Kippy's, and Ricky's parents, and Adrian's mother.

    Grant Chapter 2

Interesting. I'm still not clear on why two different names in two different countries, if it was legally changed in Tasmania, wouldn't all of his paperwork and passport be as Mitchell Grant? Some of the other stuff is clearer, however.

    Chapter 7

Wow. Just -- wow. I am glad you are not trying to write a horror thriller, @Geron Kees. I don't know if my heart and blood pressure could take it. Fantastic chapter. I an think of several questions and observations regarding the alternate lower layer possibilities this story and chapter invoke, but will hold them for now. I can wait for a day or ten to better formulate them, and they might be answered in the next chapter or chapters when posted in a day or two. Very well done.

    Chapter 6

So, @Geron Kees, I don't see Chapter 7 in the Stats que yet. Does that mean we have to wait another day or two for more of this excellent tale?

    Chapter 6

I look forward to what Castor shows next.

    Grant Chapter 1

I am sure it will be answered in a future chapter, but why the secrecy of not telling the schoolmates where he is going? And what first name does Sebastian go by in Tasmania? Mitchell? Mitch? Chell? Amos? Amo? Mos? Grant? Lee? When his name was legally changed, did his mother change her name legally as well? When Catherine introduced herself to Sebastian, she said she was the housekeeper and cook to "Mr. Grantley and his family," implying that his father has a second family now? Good, if somewhat question-raising, start to this story.

    Chapter 5

@Geron Kees -- How many chapters in this story? Will Chapter 6 wrap it up? Will it be another "continued" like last year's Halloween story? Will they go to the lower layer or to Engris and a spirit dome to track down the man described in this chapter? Enquiring minds would like to know!

    Chapter 4

I don't recall the door having breasts. After all, "knocker" used to be -- and perhaps still might sometimes be -- a casual or slang term for a protruding female mammary gland.
  19. ReaderPaul

    Chapter 3

Nah. I am old enough to have seen many of those as first run shows.

    Chapter 2

Doesn't Honest Harbondors' have a branch on Lyrgris, too? So, I'm guessing Kip, Adrian, Rick, Horace and Uncle Bob have interstellar communicators, then. Is Kip's teleportation the same as Bob's, or jus similar? We KNOW Auggie's is different. As always, ANY of my ideas you can use, @Geron Kees, you are freely authorized to use them in any way you wish.

    Chapter 4

I am wondering if Dick Sternman is a witch? It sounds like the guys are not too worried about appearing at his place or very close by. I am also wondering if Adrian can do reverse lightning -- making lightning come to him, instead of originating it between two visualized points. If so, he might be able to suck power out of something threatening him or others with him. Third, would Kippy be able to teleport between dimensions/alternate earths? Perhaps the earth where Espero originated, or the world where Costel and the Professor are? Will he learn to read the elf guidebook? Have the guys thought about talking to Chirka about this? Maybe Jeremiah Hawkins might have some ideas! Or Bobby Felson, with his compressed time experiences, might be able to sense something about the leafy appearing man? I am really enjoying this, @Geron Kees. Maybe the guys need to contact Erma the elf Listener from "Do the Stars Have Hearts, Charlie Boone?" Perhaps Erma and Neelie could team up and find out what Leafy wants!

    Chapter 3

    Good point, @drpaladin. My bad.
  23. ReaderPaul

    Chapter 3

When you said Jethro, my thought was -- Jethro Tull, or Jethro Clampett? After all, Jethro Tull was the English agriculturalist who invented the seed drill, and eventually a name adopted by the 1960s rock group.

    Chapter 2

Reminds me of a few years ago, when another author used a term I was not familiar with. I searched Google -- nothing. Use Bing -- found references! The author was trying to make up a term, and when I contacted him, he was shocked that Bing had something almost exactly like what he was trying to make up! Next thing we know, Adrian or Kippy will start teleporting. Something from a few stories back -- we know Rick and Charlie can contact each other via telepathy or skwish. (See -- Elementary, My Dear Charlie Boone!) Can Kippy or Adrian contact Rick without Charlie in the link, or contact Charlie without Rick in the link? And do all four of the guys -- plus maybe Horace -- have interstellar communicators, or just Charlie? I am guessing all of them do.

    Chapter 3

Makes me wonder if the house shows up on Google Earth.
