Everything has already been said. I can't help but admire how Kendall and Michael stand strong together. They truly exemplify what it means to really be in a relationship. Also, Michael has a huge copassionate heart. No less than Kendall, but I don't know if I could have been that generous with Lanny. Though, now it may serve them well. Those two will weather whatever storm Candy throws at them. Great chapter.

Brady got a little heartache going on there, but it great to see the others rally around him. Thing is there are a couple things at play. Silas is not just with 'people'. He's found his brother, and that family is hoping he puts down roots. There is that connection to Brady, but so far he hasn't had a chance to give voice or thought to that since he left. The band says he was born for the open road... It's going to be hard to just up and leave I think. That's going to be a tough call, and it going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

OMG. Bentley is evil. Is there a fail safe, for when the spark goes out? Because when that spider breaks free... All I can think is run, but where to? Looking forward to the next.

Andy was is not who we were thinking. Yay! But his poor brother. Hopefully with Rick they can come up with something, anything.

That was terribly sweet. I'm glad they got to have that before the storm comes.... That connection surely will not fail them.

I was laughing all the way through. The prank was epic. You played it out so well. Arron got serious real fast though when Chet practically accepted a date. Really good stuff. Then whiplash! What! Could never have predicted that. Lanny seems hurt, but I can't feel sorry for him, karma and all that. Candy was going to keep that a secret so thank God their friend told Lanny. If the baby is Michael's, judging from what Lanny said, I expect Candy to play dirty. Really great chapter.

If homosexuality was a non issue for Pastor Gregory, why step down, especially after Daniel's suicide. He could have been the one voice that changed a life. Silas knew all the right things to say to Chelsea. It was nice to see him relate his experiences in a positive way, and to sort of turn her around for a while. Still would be wise to pay attention to the things she says though.

Great chapter, but I first thought, 'Oh no, Ty.' Then I realized that it was a really believable reaction for Ty. The best thing is that he realized his mistake, and is remorseful. He is young, and there's bound to be a lapse in judgement, and he will learn from it. Plus, his heart was in the right place. Loved the chat between Neil and Ty. Pits good that Bruce sees that he was too harsh on Liam, and he's lifting the punishment a bit. The clinic is a neat idea so I hope Liam's friends wise up soon as Neil isn't going anywhere.

Did Martin ever really love Thomas? I know he gets weepy and sad in his memories, (guilt) but was this always his endgame? And what would he have done to Thomas had he found out or not gone along with his despicable plan to profit of of Casey. Maybe he tampered with the oxygen tank for all we know. No way Thomas could have known this side to Martin. Now Casey is pushing Martin as far as he dares, but I'm scared he may be a little overconfident. I don't want him to be found out yet. The still insecure part of Casey will take to heart Martin saying Shawn would be disgusted by what he is, probably delaying in Casey telling Shawn the real truth. At least he gets to swim in the cove unsupervised. Shawn thought he saw the dolphin once, not knowing it was Casey. Maybe he will just happen down by the cove and find out that it is.

It's a good thing that Chelsea is not in the same house as her abuser, but how her mother could stand by him and allow her into foster care? Unless she's being treated to some form of abuse herself, I don't understand her. I like that Amy was giving Silas advice and suggestions, letting him know she sees his worth. All the while giving him the option to basically take it or leave it, that way the choice he makes to stay or go is his, and he's not feeling cornered. Small steps to building trust between them, because we know Silas wants to be wanted and the do so want him.

A recording deal, yay! So happy for the band. The sentiment behind releasing the single - Brady is so full of heart. Sweet chapter....

Early on, I thought Neil's father would be the one harder to reconcile with the fact that his son is gay. Here we have his mother who is struggling. It seems as if it will be Phil who brings Mary to acceptance. Liam's parents need to invite them over for tea. The scene at the house was so believable, I felt awkward. Most of our players seem to be having a good week. Deon running into Kevin was great and even Becky wasn't as prickly. This was another wonderful chapter.

If Shawn manages not to get caught, Casey will have some things to explain. Shawn's curiosity has been aroused and no way will he not ask. I hope he hears more than should. Cant wait to see which way this goes..

Another great chapter Cynus. Adam is a stand up guy. Thanks to Silas' unbending need to do things his way, he headed back to camp and found Chelsea. Now also, he is forced to deal with the situation at hand. I'm glad that Ian was firm, and Silas decided to sit. There were things that he needed to hear. Now he knows his brother wanted him he can stop running and work on their relationship. Poor Chelsea I can't imagine her having to go back to her bigoted Dad, and what a scandal for the Church and small town! Can't wait to find out what's next for all involved. Why oh why does Adam not like rock music?didn't he know what could have been playing had he just switched the station? All in good time I suppose.

I felt like I was a witness to that fight. Good stuff. Andy let Rick live, that's either majorly careless, or he wants to explain when Rick comes to. It was nice to glimpse at the closeness of the friendship between Rick and Jane. Somehow I think reliving her last moments was a message to Rick. She did tell him not to rush into making a choice he can't unmake. Seeing as he has all that time in the chamber maybe he will listen to her.

This was a really solid and fun chapter. I continue to be impressed by Neil's growing maturity and his insights into Doug. Liam's got a good boyfriend. Also impressive is O'Malley's insistence that Ty be drafted by the Blues. Senior Flanders is going to lose his mind! I'm happy for Ty, and I'm also glad you're showing us that there's serious consideration for Dad as well on the Bombers. Clarissa's take charge personality is bound to cause her trouble from time to time, no doubt her friends will keep her in check.

Purely speculation at this point, but Chelsea never gave up her last name. What if Officer Higgins were her mother, (or related somehow) we know the pastor is her father. She mentioned before that talking about anything gay involved yelling and saying how wrong it was. Tara maybe gay, and now Silas is publicly outed. If Chelsea is adverse to the beliefs of her parents, and hanging out with them anyway, it would wholly make sense why she got yanked out of the coffee shop in that fashion. Her 'churchy christian' parents certainly would not want her around undesirables. Unless Higgins thinks it's within her right also as an officer also of the church... Silas on the other hand, I believe wants the friendships but he's wary. On the run and homeless, it is so easy to believe all the things real or imagined, you tell yourself so you can survive. To steel yourself so hard against emotions and feeling that running is the only option the minute someone shows they genuinely care. We kind of know he's had it rough in that look at himself in the bathroom, then telling Adam basically you gotta do, what you gotta do. Our Silas always has one eye on the exit. It's going to take him a minute to let people in and help. Even knowing what may have happened with Ian, is not enough to immediately chase the mistrust and abandonment he feels. But there's hope. Tara, Chelsea and Adam seem to be good kids he can count on.

Ahh, something to look forward to! I knew you wouldn't leave us like that! Have a fun trip...

Imagine how many times we cross paths with someone and never know how we impact their lives. What a word or a kindness could prevent or motivate. Silas' situation is more common than acceptable, and for a whole group of people to be touched by his existence is remarkable. And, that feeling carried through and resonated with the crowd too. I hope Silas gets to hear the song, to know what he meant to the band. I hope they meet again it would be so sad if they didn't. I think it would change Silas too if he knew. Maybe make him more hopeful and a bit trusting of the new people coming into his life.

Rick just got the rug pulled from underneath him again. When he catches up to Andy I doubt it will be pretty. It will be hard to explain the badge, checking out the subway system and being from the Mainland. Not to mention the timing of when they met. Rick's had to have put it together by now. If Andy didn't just get lucky, that was one elaborate scheme. I'm still going to hold out on painting him as the bad guy just yet.

Gary, this hit all the right notes. It was beautiful and sexy and romantic and funny and made me all kinds of happy. "You feel like home to me." That just sealed the deal, especially after them both going through terrible past relationships. To have someone feel like home is life altering and so definite. Chet and Aaron could not be more deserving of the love and happiness they feel for each other. These are two guys who just know they belong together and are solidly committed to that end. I loved every word. Can't wait to catch up with them in COTT. Thank you for their story.

I love Liam's mother. I also love that Neil and Liam are warming up and more relaxed in their relationship. They are talking openly about expectations and teasing and it's good. I thought for sure Neil would bring up Doug, but I'm glad he didn't as it would ruin their playful afternoon. So, Ty gets to show his stuff with Jim on the field. Even though they guess right that Ty will play to showcase Dad's talents, I hope they take note of how they play together and that maybe they both will be an asset. I think that when it all comes out, even if Dad is hurt by the dealings, he will put it aside to support Ty. Which makes me hope further that the other offer holds promise.

This was a fantastic read from beginning to end. The camaraderie between friends, the familial and love relationships, the drama and not least, the little life lessons. These guys lived their lives true to their existence. At the heart of it all was the deep lasting bond they shared, which you managed to extend to your readers. It was good stuff. But... that was some ending. What of CJ, and Adriano and the family and Tommy and... I know, I just know you're not going to leave us hanging like that. Right?!! Thank you Carlos.

I had the same thought, that Martin would some how discover the boys first. It's making me a little anxious.. Hopefully before that happens Shawn would have questioned Casey again causing him to babble the rest of the story. I like the slow build of trust and caring between the two. Casey is a bit more daring and open and sure of himself, and Shawn is proving that he is so worthy of Casey's trust.

I'm really happy to see Dave doing better. Julie is a great confidence booster. The politics of this AFL business is maddening. I'm kind of glad that Neil will have a show of force with him. Neil is coming into his own and growing in confidence. Wanting to have Liam with him says so much about how far he's come, and who he is. I was worried that Liam being there would take away from the chat with his parents, but I get it. He is willing to accept that his parents still love him, and willing to give them a chance to accept him but on his terms not hiding who he is. Brave boy. And then there's Doug.....
