    Here We Come!

There may be a few more surprises ahead for our heroes--it's been far from a smooth ride for 'em so far!Glad you liked the mix in dialogue/narration--and truly glad that I'm now able to focus a little more on the story. Thanks for the kind words!

    Here We Come!

Supprisingly, I really didn't know what option they would choose for the new location. It IS an advantage that they may be together in New Orleans, but I can also see that living in the upper West in Montana would be similar to where Dave grew up in Wyoming. Think it's as much a matter of Barry is tired of the constant moving!Glad you're following the story--and yeah, Bulldog kinda fits him, doesn't it! Thanks for the comments.

    Here We Come!

Cole, I think that Barry's self-recognition stems from two sources: his own basic nature and drives are strong, and, his involvement with Doc has really forced him to think through things (rather quickly) and make changes (also quickly). Is there a setup? We should find out pretty quickly. New Orleans is coming up fast. Really appreciate the comments about believeability of the characters/dialogue. I struggle with that, and it's nice to see it come through. BTW, really enjoying the direction of "Barbed Wire Heart". Got caught up yesterday on the last two chapters, just didn't have time to leave a review. Fascinating story! Thanks for following the story--your comments always mean a lot!

    Here We Come!

Glad you liked the decisions they've made--think it's gonna be an interesting ride for Barry and Dave.As for the shower scene...well, I'd already reported on one, and didn't wannna...bore you with the same ole, same ole! Thanks for the comments.

    Chapter 3

I know I've been away, and am still playing catch-up, but how the hell did I miss this delicious, wickedly good story?!?!? Interesting characters, great flowing believeable dialogue, concise descriptions of places and events....I'm really glad I found this one! The mystery of Josh, his past and his boyfriend are certain to draw Galen in--Galen strikes me as both deeply intelligent and naturally curious--and with a big heart on his sleeve. I suspect between his involvement, and what his cousin and cousin's GF provide, it's gonna prove to make an interesting story. Really looking forward to the next chapter(s)!

    Here We Come!

Dave's stalking around our room like a caged tiger. “I can't believe he set us up like that! There's more to this, dammit...Sid wouldn't do that. There's a motive from higher up that's at work here. Shit....” Never seen Dave so totally lose control like this. Face red, eyes look like they could burn holes in anything in their path; he's just a bundle of energy ready to explode in a fireball that'll wipe out anything in its way. “Sid has always been the most stand-up guy I know. When we met he
  7. Nice--and funny--epilogue! And I'll be...."the main Saturday night guy at Rawhide".....will that be behind the bar? Or..... <grin>

    Act III

Nicely done, tidy chapter; quickly and efficienty tied up all the loose ends, plus a satisfying handing of those damaged kids. You did well on this great, tightly-styled story. Epilogue can only highlight it all! Congrats!
  9. What a great--and moving--coming out chapter! Great, too, that the guys are thinking alike; they would make great dads! Can't wait for the fireworks of the next chapter! Or....will there be fireworks? Has the old coot's illness made him rethink things? We'll see......
  10. Albert, THANK YOU for such a stunning review!I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. As I've mentioned elsewhere, the story originally started with the idea of how many gay men explore their relationships with other men through sex; it turned into far more. Yes, its got its moments of high drama, but through it all, it's still very much a story of two men in love; exploring, learning, and overall, making things better! I'm glad you mentioned the epilogue--I've been frustrated many times that other authors don't do that...somehow, in this story, it seemed fitting. Yeah, I'm a sucker for "happy ever after", and the epilogue illustrates that further for all the characters here. BTW, if you've been following my current story, "Landfall", you're about to meet Joe and Rex again! Again, thank you for a review that had my eyes watering--maybe the dust or maybe the fluorescent lighting, I dunno --but know that you made my day!

    Chapter 8

I've been out of pocket, and somehow missed this delicious story--and glad I caught up! You've done well building realistic, believeable characters, with natural/easy dialogue. The situation with Steven was well written and tense--and Adam's saving him (as Cannd points out) despite his own similar attempted rape situation WAS truly heroic. Gonna be interesting to see where you take this--bring on that next chapter!
  12. Nicely done start to the story---you've created some interesting characters! Looking forward to the next chapter! (And no, not going to facebook.....next time, give GA readers the first shot! <grin>)

    Act I

What a great followup to Tidal Power! You did a fine job in blending in a new species, following an existing story line, and yet adding a plot line that's fully capable of standing on its own. Plus, the characters--and their history--are intriguing. Good job, buddy--looking forward to more!

    Reunited

Nice to have our heroes back together. And the good doctor is definately gonna be an ally--especially with the corporate security moving in, and corporate interests coming into play. Nicely done chapter--you conveyed the joy of the physical reunion, and the doc's total innocence about what life in the "inner zone" is like. Good job! Now bring on the next chapter!

    Chapter 6

Really love how you've shown Sammy to be secure and well....grounded in both his heritage and himself. Level-headed guy. And nice to see the group building in defense of the bullies! Looking forward to the next chapter!

    Fallout

Nicely done chapter! Yeah, Kyle had a moment of idiocy, Jim is being a "by the book" player at the moment--and yet, think both's Kyle's emotional bonding to the aliens and Jim's curiosity about that as well as Kyle's background/responses will save the day! Good job--now bring on the next chapter!
  17. There's definately something going on with the A.D--is it malevolent? Or was he merely stunned by their response? That should get sorted out in the next chapter(s).Thanks for the comments, and praise, RJ! I appreciate it!
  18. Kevin, I don't know if they (over) reacted due to the emotionally stressful situation they're in with Barry's depressing/paranoia and Dave's concerns for him--or if they correctly read the situation as a setup to "force" Barry to New Orleans. For me, see it as a win/win, too....And yeah, there's great folks in New Orleans--and a great life! Thanks for the comments!
  19. Carlos, Barry could certainly look at Montana--as you recall Dave was from Wyoming, and loves outdoor living, so that may be in the cards. And New Orleans certainly has possibilities--not the least of which would be having you in biker drag, dancing on the bar, or being friendly around the pool table with the patrons. You'd told me before how much you enjoyed pool table play, and you already have the harness and chaps..... Seriously, think this could go either way, but know that our heroes are going to make the best of it all. Glad ya liked the chapter--thanks for the comments!
  20. Dathi, think the A.D.'s intentions will become clearer shortly....hang on!Thanks for the comments!
  21. Barry may be having hard times, but the show's not done yet--and think Barry and Dave may come back strong. Barry's paranoia about their relationship seems to be settled for the moment, and the decisions ahead may make them stronger as a couple. Thanks for the kind words, Gary!

    Tahoe

Interesting start....and with both men having huge egos, suspect the fireworks are gonna be big--and hot! Looking forward to the next chapter.
  23. I keep replaying that scene of Sid going over the pros and cons of both jobs....and wondering what I'm missing. Was Sid really trying to be a friend and think things through for them? Or, what ulterior motive could the FBI have in setting up Barry and Dave for problems? Thanks for the comments, Daddy!
  24. Awesome? Thanks! We'll see how Barry and Dave handle this new development in the next chapter--and maybe Sid's motives (if there ARE motives) will become clear. Thanks for the kind words!
  25. Thanks, Cole!I keep looking at Sid, wondering his real motives. If the government wants him found, what would they gain from Barry being discovered? Or is he being used as bait to draw out more bad guys? Or is Sid really just trying to do a full analysis and has to work within Dave's current career path? Glad you're enjoying the story, buddy....thanks for following along!
