Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Frank is Really Dead and Gone
This was a tough chapter to report, Terry. Think the level of Barry's loss is finally hitting him. And the loss of the boys is heartbreaking. Thanks for following along, and the kind words! -
Loving what you've done with these stories! Enjoyed them all! Always knew your shorts would have be fun to explore!

What a sweet story! These characters deserve more! Good job!

Chapter 2: The Walk of Shame
Robert Rex commented on Amikawrite's story chapter in Chapter 2: The Walk of Shame
Nicely done! Kinda surprised he left, since it seemed to be going so well...Great that Xavier knew he should try to see him again. Looking forward to that first "formal" meeting! -
What a great job on this story! The whole plot flows well, the dialogue is real--and I'm enough of a sucker for romance, I loved the ending! Damn fine writing here!

Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Thanks for the comments, Gary! The line you quoted also, for me, carrys a double meaning--Barry realizes how over his head he's in on all of this. He started with a plan, and now the plan has taken a life all its own. He may believe he's incapable of keeping it all tongether, and it's a plea from a sinking man (or so he may believe). Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out--there are a couple of options for the story line here! We'll see. Thanks for the kind words! -

Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Frank is Really Dead and Gone
You nailed it! And the horror of it is it's his entire former life--wife, luxury home, high paying job, his boys, his face, everyone he knew, even his face......it's all gone. A tough realization, and the face was the trigger. Quite a lot to have happen so quickly! Thanks for the kind words...and for catching up on the story! -
Damn fine staging...from the hot as hell shower to the sack to breakfast...they make a great couple now that they've got the dance steps in sync! And the beauty of it is that they started out as "Friends in Love". (Yeah, it reminds me of an old Dionne Warrwick song!) Good job with this!

Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Absolutely certain you're right, Cole! Dave has got to be seeing things Barry can't--or won't--recognize in himself. May hafta get DIC (Dave In Charge) into action to "save" Barry from himself! Thanks for the kind words in this review! -
Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Frank is Really Dead and Gone
Lit, the one thing that's made this whole thing work is both Dave's consistency and his professionalism. Not at all certain that Barry could handle these changes on his own if he had just a "typical" FBI handler. And, Barry's recognition that there's no going back--there IS no Frank anymore--has really driven home how much his life has changed in the last 2 months. Thanks for the comments! -
Chapter 1: A Blissful Night
Robert Rex commented on Amikawrite's story chapter in Chapter 1: A Blissful Night
I'm like Chezakeeba....gonna be interesting to see where you go with this! Nicely done writing...and although writing sex can be a challenge, you did well! Bring on that next chapter! -
Nicely done chapter--moving emotions, yet keeping the story rolling along. I'm almost convinced Evan "doth protest too much". And fear is a wonderfully horrible motivator. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Walking up the steps to La Casa de Fuga is like coming home. Guess in a lot of ways it is. Spent more time here than anywhere else since all this started. Since Jackie died, it's been a succession of hotel rooms, but more here at this bed and breakfast than anywhere. Maybe when phase three of the plan hits, and I'm settled in, I'll be able to put down roots again. Right now, guess that isn't possible. Dave gets us checked in, Jonathan and Greg unload our luggage, and we end up with the same roo

"After I'm Done, I'm Gonna Be a Dead Man. Deal?"
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in "After I'm Done, I'm Gonna Be a Dead Man. Deal?"
Glad you got on board, Key!Thanks for the kind words....hope you enjoy the rest of the story! -
What a great job of portraying the emotional intimacy between these two guys! So very good, in fact, the physical intimacy (which you did a great job of showing!) was not only a logical extension of their bonding, it was almost (note: almost!) secondary to the fireworks earlier! Gonna be great to see where the rest of this goes!

Glad you've cleaned up enough to leave the comments! Hope you swiped down the keyboard/desk, too! I think you're right--Dave is the real hero here. Despite his tough all-pro lawman side, he's able to turn that off and manage to be warm, sensitive, and strong. I think at this point, Dave is so very protective of Barry out of instinct based on his heart, and (obviously)has moved far past just professional instincts. Barry's development has been good, and obviously his visit with Doc really has him thinking about--and maybe changing--his thinking about lots of issues. I suspect the changes he's started are going to have major ripple effects. Thanks for the comments, buddy! And, hope I can keep the sex (when it happens) every bit as hot, sensuous, and heart-involving!

LOL! Glad ya liked the chapter! And, research is an integral part of any writer's life....... Glad you're here, sticking along for the story!

So glad to get this new chapter. Really gonna be interesting to see Opie's match, and who he considers a good partner for Jonas! He really does seem to have insights that no one expects, so suspect Jonas' partner will surprise all of us! And meeting Jonas' co-worker's partner may include some surprises, too. Fine writing here.....kept the energy going, even in day to day routines like preparing dinner. Bring on the next chapter!

Glad you liked, Onim! For a relatively short chapter, there really is a lot going on here--and there's more to come! Thanks for following along!

Loving the changes underway with Nate. Not gonna be fun or pretty for him, but his self-discovery is gonna be good. And very much happy about Taylor's involvement--he seems to be one of the few people that "gets" Nate, and can manage him! Good job, intriguing story!

What a great chapter! CJ is turning out to be just as charming, just as adorable and intelligent as his dads! And his "fit" into the group is perfect--they're all perfectly willing to give him a hard time, but treat him as an adult as much as possible, and all have developed protective genes for him. Also genius to review the characters by name/description. Great reminder for me of the diversity in the group, and the roles each one plays. You did good on this one, bubba!

Thanks, Cole, for the comments! This is definately a time of transition for Barry...and I don't think for a minute it's always gonna be smooth for him. But he's shown he's not afraid to deal with the issues, and dive in to face them. And steam in a shower is always a good thing! I really appreciate your comments--THANK YOU!
