Hehehehehe! Congratulations! You guys are playing host to some of the funniest and kindest people I know! The good Church Goers will hate them to death, but that's only because they will never look to see the good they do. They've raised tons of money here in San Diego for everything from AIDS research to Animal Protection. I LOVE MY SISES!

Wow Comsie... ...Randy's definitely pretty. I am amazed again too. He reminds me of someone I vaguely remember... ...that would be me at 15. No...I don't think I have an illigitimate son out there, but Randy might be a relative of some kind. hehehehe! I wonder what his mother's maiden name was? I'd still love to know what movies you clipped for that wonderful trailer. It was brilliantly done. I've watched over and over and included a cover of 'Iris' into the Brandon Smiling Soundtrack. -

American Versus British English (Containing Examples Of X Rated Words)
MrM replied to William King's topic in Writer's Circle
I generally try to write in Received Pronunciation when writing my English Lord character. I also inflect it with Oxfordisms and with terms in which the Peerage tend to express things. The senior members of the Royal Family are excellent examples. Not so much the juniors as they enjoy using informal colloquialisms. I find it most diverting to listen to His Royal Highness, Prince William speak as his phrasiology is most amusing. I am certain that his Grand Ma Ma must have her regal teeth set upon their edges whilst listening to his informalities. Quite diverting indeed, I dare say! -

He probably isn't what Comsie had in mind for Brandon, but if anyone fits the description of 'Prettiest Boy In School' its this guy. Makes me wish I was 15 again. ~sigh~ Oh well... -
Thorn, you just reminded me. I did the very same thing for my friend last week. He'd had a seisure a week ago Monday and I cooked him food enough for a few days so he'd have something decent to eat whilst convalescing. But...see? I'd already forgotten it! You write beautifully! I can understand what you say, you use full sentences WITH punctuation and you spell much better than I do!

Brandon Smiling: From The Billy Chase Chronicles.
MrM replied to MrM's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
By some miracle i have managed to find: The full faceshot of 'Brandon'! Here he is! And he IS smiling! I really can't believe I found this needle in a haystack. Whoever he is...he is just as adorable as I thought he'd be. He is already a heartbreaker. I wonder what he'll grow up to look like? -
I think that's where I'm kind of coming from. Depending on how one lives their lives, those two questions aren't easy to answer. Those of us who are outwardly focused often can't remember things they've done or have been done for them. They are always looking to the *next* opportunity to help or trying to solve the next problem that might require help from someone else. Its praiseworthy to 'push out' whenever you can. Life is best lived by living outside ourselves. We do not find ourselves by looking on the inside but by looking outward. This has been a public service announcement by the AD Councel

Oh no sweetie. I didn't take it like that. I was actually responding because I tried to think back to answer the question and my days have been so random and squished together lately, I actually can't remember a lot that I've done or I've had done for me. It just seems to merge into one general feelign of overall goodness. I haven't had that most my life! It is a blessing. its why being in a good community can be so important. I think its a great thing to be able to remember specific things. I wish I could! The more we do for others as we do for ourselves the better our world will be. I think its the answer to heaven. To...just love one another enough to share and take care of each other. I know I must sound like a pollyana rube...trust me, I know hardship. Its just that the past year or so since joing the gay community has shown me that there can be love and support there and its very important for us all to find and contribute to that in any way we can. I'm sorry for the the lack of clarity in my previous post. I didn't explain myself at all well.

I don't take stock of nice things done, generally. There's any number of times I've had my friends help me and I help them lately. Its family. We all need each other because we're all we've got really...

I got drilled as a 'Faggot Cocksucking Maricon (I lived in a mainly hispanic area) through most of my school life. It hurt then because I was trying to deny myself. Now when I hear it I take it as a complement (even though I know its made to be an insult). They recognize me because I no longer have to hide and I can say back to them "That's right! I'm a faggot...and proud of it!" Its like calling a dog a dog or a cat a cat. Its just calling me with the words they know for who I am. It kind of kills their insult when its seen that way I think. Their intentions are meant to hurt but, to me, its like calling a duck a duck as an insult. Its ridiculous and makes them sound stupid!

Gay Teen Discovers Early Cancer Detection!
MrM replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
Don't feel bad, CB. I never could get mine together good enough to work. I went back to things I could understand like brooms, mops, and old (clean) underwear dust cloths. -
Segment 2: Of Angels and Demons
MrM commented on MrM's story chapter in Segment 2: Of Angels and Demons
Oh hey! I'm glad you are reading it. I didn't think too many were. This story was my first foray into writing so its kind of special to me. I'm so very glad you are enjoying it! -

Morgan Obris, the Crystal Palace ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The scream was shrill. Its sound pierced through the entire crystal palace from each graceful arch to each exultant vault. It was a sound that could instinctively send shuddering chills through a person's soul...no matter how hardened that soul may have become by doing what was necessary. It was strange. The sound did not seem in any way organic. It reminded one of those steam whistles the men-filth once used i

Don't go anywhere near or through an American Military Base with Poke Go going! They will confiscate your phone and possible detain you for questioning. They are on hyper alert right now and Poke Go uses cameras and GPS to work...these things are classic intelligence gathering tools for possible belligerents. I just saw an official message from the DoD about this yesterday. They seriously don't like Poke Go.

Lovely!! I'm afraid I'd get all Darth Sidious on that Effer's ass. I'm too Irish and get angry too easy. Hehehehe!
-
Hehehehe. Strange as it may sound, the story was written for the soundtrack. John Jagos, the lead singer and performer of Brothertiger was amazed that I could get this from his album.
-
Oh thank you! I've always loved the Greek Myths. I managed to find one so obscure and so unfinished that I could do something with it! I was so lucky! I am just about to post a soundtrack that gave me the idea for this story. I'll get it up in a few.

What is your favorite gender-neutral song about love or relationships?
MrM replied to A.J.'s topic in The Lounge
That's what I love about good love songs is that they can be interpreted in a lot of ways. If you guys are familiar at all with Comsie's Billy Chase soap opera, I applied Coldplay's 'Fix You' to the character of Stevie. It made sense from Brandon's perspective. A Thousand Miles is magnificent as is A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. I love this topic! I find a lot of inspiration in music for my stories. Albums sometimes become stories for me and then I interpret those stories as they come to me. Each of my stories is outlined by a soundtrack that gives me the emotional blueprint for what I'm trying to achieve with the story. I started one of my stories after hearing this song by a little known artist from New York: -
What is your favorite gender-neutral song about love or relationships?
MrM replied to A.J.'s topic in The Lounge
"I knew I loved you" is the most perfect love song I think I've ever heard. I love how Darryn made it gender neutral. I use it as part of my Souvenir soundtrack. I also love Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" which is a beautiful expression of final love in the face of the end of things. It calls to mind the absolute desperation men and women in gay relationships endured in times past. "Fix You" By Coldplay is just extraordinary... "The First Time I Saw Your Face" by roberta flack is lovely and takes on an entirely gay tone when sung with the longing in George Michael's voice. "The Air That I Breathe" by the Hollies is probably the most romantic post-coital song I know. Sung through k.d. lang...it is devestatingly beautiful. etc. etc.
