Mark and Bobby are being increasingly open about themselves. Good for them. It’s high time Amy had a moment of insight; nastiness has a way of following one around for life. And now, the Talk. Oh, boy.

Scott’s clearly dangerous. Bobby and Mark might try to take matters into their own hands, but how many others will get hurt in the meantime? However, it was nice to see Amy taken down a peg or two. Or three. I feel kind of bad for Josh, though.

Bobby, too! Scott really doesn’t get that making a couple of other people miserable isn’t a recipe for a happy summer or happy life. His social skills, um, suck. But that makes me wonder why he’s staying with his uncle for the summer...

Mark has a trusted adult he can talk to. He’s lucky. Not every outed kid does. I can’t feel any sympathy for Amy, as she will soon descend into poverty. You turned the screws a bit tighter...

Well, Scott is certainly a nasty piece of work, and Mark’s sister isn’t much better. I suppose she doesn’t realize that telling mom kills the goose that lays all those dollar colored eggs... and Mark may be awfully close to letting his secret slip. Great chapter.

Oh, boy. That’s quite an opener. Why stay with Lex? That’s a question I hope we explore. There’s got to be more than just sex, right?

I am very grateful you chose to share these evolutionary thoughts with everyone. Writing poetry can be a wonderful experience, but you have also shown that it requires thoughtful patience. For my part, I am immensely grateful to have a supportive community of Poets and readers here on GA who have encouraged and guided me, too. -
I liked this immensely. Mirror poems can be tricky, but you’ve done marvelously.

Oh, my. It sounds like a grand plan. What could possibly go wrong? The problem is, they can’t wait to find out what really could go wrong. Otherwise, someone else will be out to get them. I’m waiting, with bated breath, for the next chapter.

our Garden filled me with smiles and made me happy. on Love spoke to me we clarity and truth. Those last lines were awesome. for Tarek evokes images of selfless love, reminding me of the poem preceding it, and of the rebirth one finds in a garden. Taken together, these are a terrific trio.

Michael, I think these are indeed gems. tim is right that you may need to take on the Poet designation soon. Each of these appealed to me, but I agree that the second may be more immediately personal. I am so glad you chose to respond to AC’s appeal.
