    It’s painful, it’s funny, and possibly too true. This was a grand chapter. Now if Andy can manage to see Tyrone’s olive branches for what they are, or if Tyrone can find a way to neutralize Andy’s hostility, we might see more than sparks flying.

    No, Greg wasn’t hiding it much. But outing someone else in a fit of pique is not cool at all. Andy and Zander have something that not everyone gets - a deep and abiding love. They are lucky they have one another. Thank you again for reading this entry in Andy’s journal, and for your comments.

    @Higster: Yes. Andy and Zander have revealed to one another who they really are, and who they really love. And in this perfect moment, Andy perhaps believes something truly good will happen to him.

    I liked this feature, Dodger. You speak so easily about some of the things that are quite difficult for others to say clearly. Writing a story where the main character is not a sympathetic person can be very trying. Thanks for writing this.

    Poor Andy can hide, but not from Terry. She is very persistent, like Ambrose. If he feels uncovered, exposed, Andy could run again, despite the good place he seems to be in. Thank you for your thoughts and comments, and for reading the journal.

    But the important thing is that Andy - as he calls himself now - decided to stay in Blackburn and try school. Somewhere on the road between Carlsberg and Blackburn, he began developing into someone he might not have recognized: himself. Eustace may have had a fair bit to do with that. You’re right that Andy has hazards ahead of him. He may have to run yet. Thanks for your thoughts and for reading the journal.
