Interesting story, it seems to me that I read this one before. I could be wrong about it but I really don’t think I am. I agree that this would be a good tv show it could very well go for at least 15 seasons.

Awesome chapter and beginning to the new story. I’m glad that they had a doctor that could treat Seth for his broken foot, although I wish they had something other than opium for pain relief. I hope that Seth gets back on his feet soon because it looks like he’s going to miss out on a major birthday party for him, I know that his sons are going to be waiting for him to get back on his feet as well as the cat. I vaguely remember reading Cinderfella before now I think I’m going to have to go back and read it again.

Excellent chapter. I’m confused about as much as Worthington is at the moment, who is Mark and what’s this about a doctor and coming so quickly? As far as I could tell Worthington is supposed to be on vacation with Kyle at Disneyland. I know Kyle was sure surprised by the fact that they were at the actual Disneyland, and planned to have lots of fun. I think Worthington needs to contact Jamie to see what he knows about what this guys talking about and how he knew that Worthington would be at this hotel. I’m wondering if it’s some kind of trap.

Excellent chapter Carlos. I also think that the net that CJ is weaving around Brad is great and it is sad that so many of our veterans who come home after a injury like Brad has are often left to get through the trauma of the injuries themselves and they need to have someone like CJ in their corner to help them. I’m glad that Brad has the best support group behind him and the way that CJ is pushing to get funding for Heroes Haven, from a US Senator from Illinois who is a veteran herself and she agreed to meet CJ & Brad for lunch to get to know Brad and to get his take on how he was treated by the VA. The name of the house is very memorable being on the national registry of historic buildings adds to the charm. If I remember rightly if you have a building on the registry you’re not allowed to change the outside structure of the property at all and they only allow a few changes to the interior of it, I could be wrong as well. I’m glad that CJ & Ozzie can make the changes they want to the inside of the house. I can’t wait to read what comes next and what goes on with Richie.

Excellent chapter and story. I’m inclined to agree with Lloyd that he get rid of Coral Coast Station as it’s becoming a regular headache as there’s always something that he needs to deal with and now that he has the boys to worry about he doesn’t need the headache of the station. This was a great story and I enjoyed reading every chapter of it. I may even go back and reread the story again. Thanks for the great story, I look forward to the next story.

Awesome chapter as usual. I agree with the replies to the chapter from everyone who has made a reply to the chapter. I’m glad that Robbie has finally started talking to Nicola about what happened between him and Alex a year ago. I also agree with Nicola telling her mom about what he said when they were out together. I truly hope that Robbie will talk to the man that Walter has arranged to be at the school on Monday, so that he can discuss what he’s going through, I think Nicola is right about some of the things bothering Robbie is that he hasn’t come to terms with the death of his mom and the adoption by Don & Sue is more of the issues he’s dealing with. The assault by Alex a year ago is more of the issues he had buried, now he feels like he doesn’t need to be alive anymore so that he’s not going to be a burden on anyone anymore. He feels like his sexuality choice is driving a wedge between him and Don.

Awesome chapter indeed. This chapter reminds me that these kinds of issues come up no matter where you are. I think it’s great that Lloyd has found out that he’s a father of two boys ages 5 and 7, Toby & Issac Templeton. Lloyd arranged for he, Davis & Alistair to go to Brisbane to get the boys according to the wishes of Sarah in letters written by Sarah before her death, Lloyd and Davis both got letters each being a bit different as the one Lloyd has just tells him about the boys and that he is the father, it also contains a picture of them, the letter that Davis has also contained a picture as well as their birth certificates listing him as the father. They only just found out about the boys as Sarah instructed Davis to not open his letter until a year has gone by after her death, he was also told to give Lloyd’s letter to him around that time. I think it’s ridiculous that the Carrington’s tried to flee before they went to court for the custody hearing to determine the rights of Lloyd as the father. I’m glad that Davis and Alistair are going to be caring for the biological sons of the Carrington’s until the custody case is heard. I’m just sorry that Lloyd has to go to another hotel until the hearing in two days. Great story Lloyd has made out quite nicely since his parents died in the auto accident after his grandmother died, I can only hope that the last 3 chapters are just as intense as the others have been. I can’t wait to read them as they are released.

Very excellent chapter. I love the closeness that CJ & Ozzie have with everyone who they consider their family, or very close friends. I guess that’s where the squad comes in, as they are considered the closest of the friends. I think it’s great that they have finally got around to telling everyone about the pregnancy and how it was done. Great story I know I can always expect them to be either with friends or family or both and their interactions are great. It’s never been dull reading as there always seems to be something going on, to me anyway, I love the way that CJ & Ozzie get along with each other as well as their family and friends.

Awesome chapter. I’m glad that Vlad is able to enjoy spending time with his father and family when they are able to come to the apartment where Boris lives. The idea of going to the banya or bath house and Vlad had chosen to take Boris on a paid day so that they would have more eye candy to look at than just old men. From the description that Vlad used it appears to have been a great visit as they saw all kinds of different sizes of men who were at the same bath as they were. I think it’s great that Aiden was able to take Katrina along with him as he went to purchase the various tickets for the performances they planned to go see. Katrina was also able to taste her first Big Mac, fries and a drink with Aiden.

Another excellent chapter. It seems like Lloyd is making out fairly well as there was mostly trash in the main family home on the farm, with some furniture damage which was repaired and the furniture that was beyond repair was disposed of. The local Lions Club has come to Lloyd’s rescue as they were the ones that went in and cleaned everything up and they also recommended someone who could fix the windows they found broken. As they were preparing to leave for the return trip to the station Davis came up to Lloyd and asked him if there was anything else they could do to help him as he & Alistair aren’t suited for work on the station, Lloyd told him he would have them as the caretakers of the family farm and he would make arrangements for a four wheel drive vehicle be delivered so they could get around, and he would pay them $475.00 a week. I hope that Mr De Luca gets himself into a lot of trouble for the way he treated the farms he had leased from Lloyd’s parents, also I think he should get a hefty fine for his mistreatment of his own family.

Another excellent chapter. I’m glad that this fire didn’t do much more damage to the station and surrounding area, it appears that it was caused by lightning and only burned up to the other fire damaged areas. There were two stubborn families that thought they would be better off on the beach instead of going where they were told to go to, after driving onto the beach they wound up burying their vehicles in the soft sand and as a result of their own actions they lost their vehicles to the fire were fined by Lloyd and they were informed that they were no longer allowed on the station as long as he owned it. On top of the fine they got from Lloyd they were also informed that they were receiving fines from the marine parks and wildlife Rangers bringing the total amount that they each owed came to around $2900.00 each, which they weren’t expecting to get so stuck. After Lloyd, Dave,Sue, Alistair Davis & Angus looking at two other stations that were for sale he said he would get back to them as soon as he had spoken to his accountant. Once they got back to the farm, his family had raised him on the farm. He walked up to the main house and found two men inside and there was trash and they became very mean when he told them they had to be out by morning, after speaking to his attorney he was told he had the right to cancel the lease on the farm as well as the other one he owned. The next morning he told everyone what he had found out and he told Dave & Sue to have their lease looked at as well as checking in on their house and found the same mess Lloyd had found at his. I wish him the best of luck with everything.

Another excellent chapter. I think it’s great that Lloyd spent a little time speaking with Jeremy & Angela. At least they might realize now that Nicholas is bad news to anyone who gets in his way. I like the idea that Lloyd is going to be letting his brother in law and nephew work for him at the station, and I also think that he is being very generous with Alister even though he’s 12 going on 13 with 2 hours per day and only 4 days a week. Lloyd is also going to be getting some distance schooling set up for Alister, which he agreed to as a stipulation of working. I had to laugh at the fact that Davis hadn’t figured out that Lloyd was the owner when he told them that he was going to be gone for 3 days on a business trip which is when he mentioned that they could go with him along with Dave & Sue or they could work on the station. Davis asked Lloyd if the owner should be the one that should decide who to hire or not and that’s when Alister spoke up and said that Lloyd was the owner.

Very excellent chapter. I’m glad that Lloyd is getting the staff living arrangements sorted out for Dave & Sue, she loved the plans of the house he showed her on his laptop. She called Dave about furniture and he said that he would arrange to have the furniture they put in storage shipped to the station to be put in their new home. The building company is sending two houses one for Dave & Sue and the other for him. The mechanic he hired is a single parent after losing his wife two years ago, his son is 16 and has been his apprentice for awhile now and they’re both very excited to move to the station to live and work.

Awesome chapter. Can anything else possibly go wrong for Lloyd, first a cyclone hit the station, then the partying destroyed some of the beach and surrounding buildings as well as damaging the main house, next was the wild fire 🔥, now an earthquake. The earthquake was felt as far away as Perth, when Lloyd looked on the computer the Geoscience Australia Website it said that the quake was a 4.8 magnitude. After getting a report from Rebecca that there was no damage to the backpackers hostel and she checked the main house and reported severe damage there. When Lloyd took Chris and went to survey the damage to the main house they saw that one whole wall was toppled, he said that it was a complete write off.

Excellent chapter. I’m sure Renquist meant well when he said that he needs to just do the job and not let it get to him so much, he also said that even though they were still officers with Chicago police department they wouldn’t find their names on any roster. Gus was also told that his pay check would be direct deposit to his bank account and it wouldn’t come from the police department. I think it’s funny in a way that even though they’re still part of the police force but they are working for a vampire who is trying to keep everything in balance to prevent even more deaths than are necessary. Vampires must feed at least once a month or face death themselves from starvation which isn’t a pretty picture. Can’t wait to read the next chapter to see what Gus does.

Awesome chapter. I’m glad that the fire is now declared out, and the suspects have been caught and arrested. Once the announcement was made that the fire was out and the volunteers were told they could go home or to their work place, Lloyd returned to the conference room and there were two new faces. The two new faces are that of the police Sargent that Lloyd has spoken with before, the other is a arson investigator, their names are William Holmes and Adam Sherlock, their names brought a small chuckle to Lloyd as the names reminded him of a London Victorian times detective. The clean up will be more time consuming than the clean up after the cyclone hit the station. Fantastic storyline, I hope that they can figure out what the cause of the fire was and the exact location that it was started. I think the people who were arrested for partying and destroying portions of the station right after Lloyd took over are questioned about the threats he has been receiving since then as to may have known that this was being planned.

Awesome chapter. I said before that Lloyd seems to be a magnet for bad luck with the station, right after he gets control of the station and he sends Matt & Greg back down there to be the managers the first night they call him and say that someone is having a party in the owners house. All 23 people that were there were arrested and their vehicles searched and probably impounded. Now they have a fire that’s suspicious in origin it started in or near the power shed behind the owners house it’s now spread beyond the station and has started in another direction due to the wind changing direction. He now has support from the parks and wildlife fire department as well as other agencies in the area around the station. I hope they get it under control and put out and the person responsible arrested. This is going to be another cost for him to deal with before he even gets to start making money.

Awesome chapter as usual. I feel bad for Lloyd as it seems like if it wasn’t for bad luck he would be doing good. Right after taking control of the station and sending Matt & Greg back down there to be the caretakers with Matt being the main one and Greg is his assistant, the night they arrived they reported that there was a party in the main house. Lloyd told them not to go over there and to call the police about it, they informed him that they had already called them and they said they would have someone come out. After Lloyd got off the phone he called the police himself and then called the neighbor who had been leasing the old family farm and asked him to keep an eye on the property again as he has to go to the station to deal with trespassers. Once that was done he packed a small bag and he & Angus were on the road again. I’m glad that the police were able to get an officer from the Parks and Wildlife close to the station and he was able to detain 23 men and women by using flex cuffs he had with him, all of the damage has been documented along with the vehicles that belongs to them as well as their personal belongings. Lloyd told them that he would file papers with the court for the damages, I wonder if he contacted the police again for the damages that were found out at the 14 mile campground. I think it’s great that he thought of the former caretaker of the campground to see if he would be interested in coming back to do the job again. I hope that he gets everything done that he needs to be able to open up again for customers so they can start bringing in some money instead of it all going out to make the repairs and rebuilding that was needed after the cyclone tore through the station.

Excellent chapter. I’m glad Vlad was able to see his father and brothers again after being away from them for almost 50 years. I’m sure he would have wanted to see his mother as well but she passed away 20 years earlier. For the amount of time he & Aiden spent in the apartment with a friend who lived in the apartment with his family and then at his brothers home they had a great time telling each other about their lives during their time apart. I hope they have just as nice of a visit on Sunday as the family will all be together so it will be a better visit with each other. Aiden will go sightseeing with Dimitri who is the friend and lover of Fedor the man who helped Vlad & Aiden get the visas they required to be able to travel to Moscow.

Awesome chapter. I don’t think Lloyd is running away from anything, he has the right not to speak with Jem & Angela because of what their son did to him and by threatening Matt & Greg causing them to leave. Then while Lloyd was in the hospital recovering Nicholas called him and threatened him some more of what he already got plus more if he goes to the police. I hope he knows what he’s getting himself into with regards to his ownership of the family farm and possibly the neighbors as well, and quite possibly the 850,000 acre cattle station on top of it all. He’s already asked Matt & Greg to come work with him on the farm and they accepted his offer immediately after reading his text message to them. If he gets the cattle station I wonder what he’s going to do with it as he still has to get the backpackers building finished along with the other buildings that were destroyed by the cyclone. Very enjoyable story, I always enjoy reading each chapter as soon as I get the chance to do so. I’m glad that you said there was more to come and that the story wasn’t even half way through.

Excellent chapter. I’m also surprised how Lloyd is leaving now instead of talking to Jeremy & Angela about the assault because it wasn’t his fault that their son has a anger issue. All Lloyd was trying to do was tell him to quit banging on his door and that Matt & Greg were on their day off so they wouldn’t be doing any work then. I think they would understand that Lloyd was only doing his job by telling their son that the guys were having a day off as this is the way that his parents had it arranged for them. I kind of hope that he finally talks to them about it and they will support him and not Nicholas. As for the loan payment I think that’s going a little overboard but I can see his point in doing what he’s doing. I have a feeling that Angus is going to be very happy to see Lloyd again after almost two weeks of not seeing him. I wish him luck with his future.

Another excellent chapter. I hope that Nicholas gets arrested and charged with assault on Lloyd and is forced to spend time in jail. I also don’t want him to lose his job as hospitality manager at the station especially since he put up a lot of his own money to help get the station up and going again after the cyclone. I hope that his jaw heals well for him, I also think that Matt & Greg get their jobs back since they quit because of the trouble with Nicholas. I’m sure Lloyd is going to start missing Angus real soon. Great story thanks for writing it.
