Chapter 112 The Blues Brothers
Butcher56 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 112 The Blues Brothers
I’m glad that Robbie might actually have a boyfriend that isn’t so feminine like Nathan. Conner seems like he likes to joke around a little bit at least while he’s trying to get to know Robbie a bit while at the party, it put an interesting picture in my mind of one of the Blues Brothers and a gorilla 🦍 standing around talking. I hope they get to meet up next weekend so Robbie could show Conner around the town, allowing them to really get to know each other. If Nathan sees them together he might get jealous because of what he lost. -
I agree with drpaladin, everything he said is what is going on in the chapter. I think it’s imparative that Everett & Kohen sit down with Fresca and Danie again so that they can determine how much of Danie was imprinted into Kohen’s brain when Danie stuck the probe into Kohen. I hope that they’re able to get whatever Kohen thinks they need from the planet that Kohen has them heading to.

To answer your question about whether Trevor could jump from mischievous to well-meaning, as much as I’ve been able to get from all the interactions between Trevor & Justin the answer would be emphatically no he can’t. Every time the two of them get near each other it goes from bad to worse in no time. I have a feeling that Jeremy is talking about Alec when he said that he was looking for Trevor and or Taryn and since they weren’t there he destroyed Jeremy’s business and he’s going to keep looking. Alec wants to destroy Taryn for leaving him with their step father who started abusing Alec because Taryn was no longer there for him to get his jollies off. I won’t reveal anything about the story other than what I just said and I only said that because it was something Taryn told Justin before about what he had to do in order to survive.

Great chapter quokka. I hope that Mrs Ashburton agrees with the proposal from the Swiss engineering company to buy in for approximately 10.1 million dollars in Australian currency or 7.63 million Francs. If she does agree then they might be able to get a better idea of how to set up the routes that they want to run and how much more they would be able to run the trains. It sounds like a very productive two weeks in Zurich for the first trip there under the agreement of two years of consulting work for the Swiss engineering company Mr Ashburton worked for prior to moving back to Australia to be able to spend more time with the family. Mr Ashburton even turned down the offer to move back to Zurich and return to work with the company he was with before. I’m glad that Vern is able to gain more experience and do his studies for college, plus he’s accepted by the engineering company as the personal assistant to his father as well as one of the co owners of Ashburton Engineering. I think it’s great that these people accept Vern not only from a business stand point but also it helps him with his studies, by him acting as his fathers assistant he is gaining first hand knowledge of how a business is operated as well as spending time on the Great Western two days a week he will come away with top scores for his college course work in Business Administration and Hospitality. Vern appears to be of higher intelligence compared to other 16 year old boys since he has made a name for himself aboard the train by being a representative of the family business and being very curteous toward the passengers as well as the employees. Not only is he curteous he is also strong enough to be able to get through to any unruly passenger. I can’t wait to read what happens next. .

It seems like Worthington has his hands full with his 20 campers more so with Dechaun who’s been doing all he could to get a rise out of Worthington only it hasn’t worked nor will it. Worthington is going to try to help Dechaun gain some money to help him get a start towards a better life by not having to be poor and stay that way for the rest of his life. I like the way he told him that if he could come up with 6 legal ideas for a way to get more money a week than he gets now, if Dechaun is successful then he earns $50.00 just for his thinking of 6 legal ways to make more money a week than he has right now to invest in himself. In a way both Worthington and Jamie are both glad that the Sinclair is no longer there to be able to try to put a rift between them. Although the reason behind why it isn’t there anymore has caused a great hurt in Jamie due to Colin deciding to have Worthington take his virginity away from him so that he could follow the path of a dark mage which Jamie wasn’t able to do. It seems that Jamie may have been holding Colin back from realizing that he wanted to follow the path of the dark mage not the light, so Colin went behind Jamie’s back and talks Worthington into taking him on as his student and to also take his virginity. I can certainly understand why Jamie got mad when he found out what Colin had done. I’m sure that after a day of being pissed off he’ll become what he doesn’t want to be. Great chapter.

Another fantastic chapter. I just don’t know why it is that some people just have to be a problem for Vern when he says he is one of the owners and the personal assistant to the general manager of Ashburton Engineering. I’m glad that Reynold was right close by when the obnoxious guy starts to cause trouble, when the man demands to speak to the head porter and Reynold steps up and introduces himself then asks Vern if he is alright only he asked him by saying if Mr Ashburton was alright. The man looked between Vern and Reynold’s a couple of times after Reynold asked if Vern was alright which caused the man to finally let Vern go. I’m glad that Mr Ashburton is going forward with the lawsuit against the Grammar school, only the headmaster did everything in her power to get the court throw the case out and after Mr Ashburton stated the reason for the suit in greater detail it was decided that the case would be heard by the Supreme Court as there was more than enough proof that the suit was needed. I can’t wait to read about the trip to Switzerland and how it goes.

I hope that the case is moved to another jurisdiction so Artie might have a chance to stay with Adam and the life he’s building in San Francisco. To me Artie seems to be doing a great deal better since he moved out to California with Adam within the first week he had made friends with Dizzy, Ky and Charlotte, he’s doing well in school he’s on the baseball team and he’s one of the best players. He started feeling the weight of his worries about the custody case and having to go back to his hometown for the case. I’m truly glad that Artie has so many people who are willing to do just about anything to help him stay in California. I hope they do get the case heard in their hometown so he can rub it in his grandparents faces and those people who are just like them that he has a boyfriend and they’re in love with each other very much. I’m glad that Lindsay suggested that Adam take the week off if it means that he’ll be available for Artie if he needs or wants to talk about the custody case. Great story and chapter. Love the story.

Great start to the story. I hope that they will have good luck with the property and the farming. Edwin & Archie have finally arrived at the property and are now going to explore it to see if there is suitable land for grazing and also a fresh water supply. I’m looking forward to the next chapter.

I don’t know why I didn’t comment on this chapter before so I’m going to do so now. I think I can understand what possessed Justin to go after Taryn by himself, it was love and fear that he feels for Taryn and the fear of losing him like the prophecy says. When Justin started fighting the scavengers in the alley I knew that they weren’t going to stop him from going through the door to find his boyfriend and nothing or no one was going to stand in his way. Once he got through the door he just kept fighting and he kept moving toward Taryn and Soren, he knew that they had hurt Taryn and he wanted them to hurt just as much if not worse. Justin’s mimic abilities were enhanced by the fighting he had to do in order to help Taryn, Justin got to a point where he was taking on multiple targets at once. Justin even realized that he had so many extras that he didn’t even know how to use the majority of them, the more vampires he fought the more he would absorb from them, at least once he started fighting them he was able to find the way they fought and that allowed him to take them out of the fight. Once he got to within a single floor from seeing Taryn he had one hell of a battle to get through before he could get closer to rescuing Taryn from Soren. When he finally got to the area where Soren was holding Taryn Justin had to fight some more only the vampires he had to fight then were nothing more than a bug that he crushed, then he finally got to Taryn and Soren was still trying to get Justin to fight for him by telling him that he wouldn’t have to live in a dirty old junkyard for the next hundred years and that he could be living better than everyone else in just a couple of months. Soren said that Justin and Taryn could be in an apartment with air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter, only Justin wasn’t interested in any of that. Justin almost had Soren so that they would never be bothered by him again only he was attacked one last time and that allowed Soren the opportunity to escape. As Justin was fighting the last vampire he just kept hitting him with everything he had left and he was so focused on the fight that it took Taryn saying his name over and over again before Justin looked down at his opponent and then he realized that he went too far and that made him not want to look at Taryn out of remorse for the vampires he hurt trying to save Taryn. They got back to the lot and were surprised that the rest of the family were waiting for Justin to get back with Taryn. I think I know how Justin feels when he was talking to Dion saying that he had no idea how to control the extras he has absorbed since his awakening those two short months ago. Dion told him he didn’t have to save anyone all he had to do was speak the truth and they would listen at least.

It seems like the Great Western is off to a good start and now with the additional two trains that they can use for the new routes once the rail lines are completed. I think it’s great that Vern gets to go to Switzerland with his dad as his assistant that he’s been doing since the first meeting with the transportation minister. With Vern going to Switzerland 🇨🇭 he’ll still be able to do his studies from the university. The configuration of the new trains are similar to the Great Western except that they don’t have a Diamond class car, the new trains are longer than the one they have now which will require them to make a few changes to the stations they will be stopping at. This is a great story and I love reading 📖 it every time a new chapter is posted.

Chapter 111 Private Tuition
Butcher56 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 111 Private Tuition
I really hope that Robbie can get a better handle on his anger before it gets completely out of control. He’s already had some health issues because of it, he could wind up with some severe issues because he gets angry 😡 so easily. I’m really glad that he has Rory as a best friend and he has gone out of his way to help Robbie catch up with the school work he missed. Rory is probably the only boy who could say they could go to his room and play games and it not be sexually motivated. I’m glad that Rory said that Robbie is welcome to come to his house to stay calm and not be so stressed as he is at home. I can understand why he feels so stressed all the time when at home with everything that goes on there, now Don has agreed to host a bible study for the people of the church that thinks they can turn a gay person straight. This is the same place that Don found Mr Symmonds at and we know what happened in that situation. I can’t wait to see who this mystery boy is that Fran is trying to set Robbie up with, we’ll see who it is in the next chapter. -
I’m glad that to see that the Great Western is on it’s way and that they finally got the approval from the transportation minister. The new station has been built along with the storage shed and they have a specific time to be on the tracks from the company that owns and uses them. I think Mr Ashburton did the right thing and filled suit against the school and the headmaster due to the fact that the primary abuser was not expelled only suspended for the remainder of the term. Vern has been accepted to college and is going to have his certification in business management and tourism in two years.

I didn’t know what Danie was going to do with the link that he made. I think he would have been better off if he had asked permission from Kohen before he made the link. He might’ve not had a gun aimed at him if he had asked before just making a link between them. I’m glad that the captain showed up when he did, only he might’ve overreacted due to the link he has with Kohen.

Chapter 110 All or Nothing
Butcher56 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 110 All or Nothing
I wish that Robbie would take time and think about how he reacts to certain things. Here’s a prime example of what I’m saying because now he’s blown up at the principle and Walter when all they were trying to do is make sure that he was alright and if Mr Symmonds had done anything to him or what he said to make Robbie not want to talk and to argue with him. Walter and Mr Andrews only want what’s best for Robbie. Robbie has already missed a lot of school because of his suspension and now he might be missing more time because I think he needs to see a doctor who can help him figure out what is causing the dizziness and blackouts, I don’t think he needs to see a psychiatrist or anything like that I think a general physician would be able to help diagnose the problem and come up with a treatment plan. I think Robbie needs to be honest with Mr Andrews and Walter about what went on with Mr Symmonds. -
Chapter 13 - Our Best Defense
Butcher56 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 13 - Our Best Defense
Great chapter, Com. I’m glad that Spencer’s dad was good with the handgun and even though he was out of ammunition he used the but of the gun as a club hitting the zombies 🧟♂️ in the head. Then when everyone was thinking he wasn’t going to make it Cooper went out there and started shooting the zombies 🧟♀️ so that Spencer’s dad was able to get away at which time he jumped into the Jeep that was sitting there and he had to fight a zombie as he was trying to get the Jeep where he would be able to block the gate from being opened after he got up enough speed to get the jeep sideways against the gate closing it again and basically sealing it from being opened as the zombies wouldn’t be able to get it open. Once inside the school he and Spencer exchange hugs and he was lead off to medical to get checked out in order to be allowed to be in the general population area with his son Spencer. I can understand the bond between father and son especially since that’s all either of them had left in the world. I’m glad that Alex was there for him while his dad was outside fighting the zombies. After it was over and while he was hugging Spencer he saw Brower coming his way and he rose to a standing position and went to attention as Brower asked if he had ever served in the military and he said he had served two tours overseas. Brower told Spencer’s dad to come see him sometime today and that he could use someone like him in his unit. The story is getting better with each chapter as it seems to be getting more action in each chapter which just makes me want to read more to learn what happens next for the people who are making the school home for the time being until they’re able to learn how to stop 🛑 the zombies 🧟♀️ from advancing any further and possibly stopping them for good. Thanks for the great story. -
Finally the “Ice Zone” as Gyro puts it, it’s the party of all party’s and they had tickets to be able to get in. First they had to take the subway to a point near a bar, then go around back and then down a very narrow and steep staircase to the entrance to the monorail. When they get on the train they’re asked by a cocktail server if they wanted a drink and of course Gyro is the first one to say he wanted a drink then he said he’d have 4 drinks to which Rain said he would have one and he would nurse it slowly, everyone got a shock when Bryson asked for a drink as well. Once they started moving they traveled a ways and then the monorail stopped and human passengers got on and then they were on the way again. Once they arrived at the site of the Ice Zone they heard an announcement that said the vampires would disembark at platform A while the human passengers would stay aboard and travel to platform B, as the monorail pulled up to the platform and the doors opened the group was pushed back a couple of steps due to the volume and intensity of the DJ’s cranking out the music. I hope they enjoy them selves and have lots of fun. I’m really enjoying the story and I intend to continue reading 📖 it. Thank you for writing this story and the others that you’ve written and are still writing ✍️.

Great chapter, I hope the four boys who have been bullying Vern since he got to school a week late due to the accident aboard the Great Western train. The first time was the day he was allowed to go to school after his release from the hospital, the second time was the day after his release from the hospital again. Mr Ashburton is not happy with the school at this time because what they consider anti bullying is in house detention and suspension of athletics. Now that this second incident has happened it’s a week suspension then detention at lunch for the rest of the term. I’m glad that the police were there to hear what was said and that they agreed with Mr Ashburton that these boys needed to be charged for their actions even if three of them were just following the leader they’re just as guilty as he is.
-
Great chapter. I agree with dr paladin in that if Danie hurts Kohen he hurts Freska and he already said he wouldn’t hurt Freska. I think we are missing something in that what is the purpose for Danie to bore a hole in Kohen’s head to insert a tendril? I believe that Cia will let us know what the reason was in future chapters. I also think that when Everett finds out about this he’s going to have Freska keep Danie away from Kohen to prevent this from happening again.
-
To me I think if Justin can’t find out who this “Rage” is he’s going to continue to have problems wherever he goes and anyone who’s with him could be in real danger. All of these vampires are getting their information about “Rage” from someone who is paying a lot of money to have him killed.
-
Great chapter and story. I’m glad that Kitryn and Simon were able to finally claim each other, I think it’s great that they have each other and hopefully they’ll have a place to call their own. I know that they still have the Cheryl issue to get through but once that’s over maybe they can settle down somewhere with the kids. I hope that the Cheryl issue will be settled very soon and they’re able to find the seers alive and unharmed. I really enjoy reading this story.

Great chapter and story. Wow on the inaugural run to generate press for the train and to get the state minister of Transport to sign off on the route they had discussed. I can’t believe that they almost got hit by a freight train which caused Vern to go flying forward and he hit his head, got knocked out. When he finally came to he told his father that he saw 2 green signals and he said it was the other drivers fault. Quite an interesting turn of events for the family, first they arrive in Geraldton and they have a letter waiting for them saying that there was a package waiting when Mr Ashburton asked the railway employees where it was they told him that he would need to accompany them to the yard. When they finally arrived at a locked shed and it was opened and the lights turned on they saw the new car for the train. It’s a great addition to the train.

Interesting chapter. I hope that Worthington is able to come to grips with the sadness he feels for the loss of a great friend. I understand grief as I have lost a great deal of family and friends over the years. I haven’t had anyone die because of a drunk driver but I have heard about many times that it has happened. The problem I have with it is that there are many more ways to get home after having a few drinks instead of getting behind the wheel yourself and taking the chance of getting in an accident. Jeremy and his family probably never saw it coming as the description of the accident sounds like it might’ve been at high speeds, possibly on a highway. I’m glad that Richie was able to get both of Jeremy’s brothers to be revived and then healed of their injuries. I agree with Worthington that the night was going to be a very good night after all because the other councilor with him wants him to take his virginity so that he is able to become a dark mage instead of a light mage. Although this will require Worthington to take over the sanctuary Colin has with Jamie. Great story, can’t wait for the next chapter.
-
Great chapter and story. I feel that Michael is going to be a real problem for Justin and anyone else who gets between Michael and Trevor. He’s already proven that he’s a great manipulator. I know that Justin knows what Michael can do he just needs to find a way to keep him from doing it again. All other boys need to stay away from Trevor so they can stay safe from Michael who is extremely jealous of the other boys.
-
Great chapter and story. I think the other comment about some government people being helpful and others not is very accurate. I hope the property that they looked at can be used for the station and storage shed for the train can be purchased and the facilities built in the three month timetable for which they’re hoping for. I’m glad that the family is now moving into their new home. I don’t understand why it is that when a foreign language is offered and the incoming student declines it because he or she already has a number of languages known that they still try to get the student to take a language course. The way I see it is if the student already knows other languages fluently then let them take the course they want instead, is that such a difficult thing to do. Can’t wait to read chapter four in two days.
