I'm very happy that the Christmas season was a time for repairing a relationship. So often it's a time when couples decide finally to split. A very positive story, but also a reflection of real life experiences.

This was such fun! Writing outside your comfort zone is obviously good for you. I loved the opening tantrums, then gradually the Christmas spirit seeps in. I also really enjoyed the way their clothes played such an integral part of their courtship. Thank you.

Not sure it's the entire village. But the Green Man, to my mind, has none of the scruples, guilt of the incoming religion. As you say, the end justifies the means. Thanks for the comment, dugh.

The English countryside often has dark elements, whether it's legends, hangovers from pre-Christian times, or drug use. I'm pleased I took you unawares - can't have my readers second-guessing me all the time ...
