Walter started out has a random background character stuck in a meeting, but as I fine tuned the plot and deleted some things added more things then spun it around on a spin cycle yeah not so much background anymore. 😂 Is he a friend? A Foe? Or a convenient scape goat, only time will tell.

Now that I’ve slept on it and read the feedback I think this choice was the best that could be made. There are so many secrets in this story and trying to not just give them away is hard.

Trust me I gave great consideration to this idea as well. We still know next to nothing about Reed either and Josh is in the same boat with you on believing any of that. It’s going to be an interesting road.

This is pretty much it right here. This chapter is a lynch pin, it’s the one that I had to make a choice in which way this was all going to go. i still have a couple of major decisions to go but I can tell you this story is probably getting split into two stories and I’ve already made the preparations for it. This story obviously book one starts asking all the questions but two has all the answers. I have one major plot line to close with this story and funny enough it isn’t Josh’s. But the close of that line has a fallout which we get to explore in the next one. This story was way too complex for one story anyway without getting lost in what’s going on lol.

I said it to you before, the first time I read it and I'll say it again. This is my favorite chapter, the car totally needed to come back. I have fond memories of a lot of cars and if I could have any of them back it would be one of my dad's.

This was a great chapter. I know we've mainly been seeing Nick grow and develop but it's been a real journey for Jack too. This is evolving how I hoped it would, and the addition of Christian and Jonah was a real treat. Sometimes family is more than blood, and watching the evolution between Nick, Jack, Christian and Jonah has been amazing.

Hah I should post that short I did with one of @Topher Lydon's characters from one of his stories for prompt #309, if that's what you meant by that. He said I could use it whenever I wanted so I wrote a short brief of the two of us having a conversation just to see if I could write a character that wasn't my own. It got real, very quickly, and crazily in character.

That actually really fits. For Joel, it would have been one hell of a tension release, and hopefully because of her acceptance that part of him that's on edge, just waiting for the other shoe to drop can breathe for a little while. Maybe that's why it makes me feel better?

Finally Celia knows and somehow that makes me feel better. Lisa is, who cares. Cody at least now knows what’s going on and yeah Trace is right she could end up losing Cody too as he gets older for all of this. Damn the last couple of chapters have been moving things right along at least people know now.

I’ve been rereading this to get back in the groove and I forgot how I wrote some of these earlier chapters. Thanks, I had to do research to do it justice then wrote it as if I saw it on TV 😂

The temporary hold won’t last long I promise. I had another short story that demanded my attention and took hold. There is still so much of this story yet to be told and Josh doesn’t deserve to fall to the forgotten, it won’t happen. Just give me a little bit to get back into his groove.

I ended up talking to Doctor Marsh about that prescription, and instead of just one, she gave me two. One was meant to take the edge off, the other to help me sleep. I didn’t like the idea of taking pills—it felt like I was cheating my way out. And honestly, I didn’t trust myself with them. The only reason I agreed was because everyone—my mom, Elijah, even Dr. Marsh—kept gently pushing me to at least give it a try. Just to see if it made things better.
