Ok Rachel was being a bit too judgemental, but who can blame her, Ryan's her younger brother, and she probably saw him an emotional mess 3 years ago. Ryan can't have unspoken doubts now, he is the one that already quitted the game. Erik is tired of New York, but alone he will never leave, where would he go, with no family? He needs Ryan. I am sure he noticed that something was of, so hope they start talking with each other in the next chapter, they need to communicate.

I am not sure I agree.. true, he was not the best or most present brother, but so what? With that age difference most kids would probably not even have the brother at home, or a closed relationship, as Teddy would be in a very different place in is life... He could be living half world across the country and only see the family on Christmas... I mean, I want their brotherly relationship to get better, and yes Teddy can be better, but up to now, from what we know, Oliver hasn't been a great kid either. I am actually curious to know a bit more about him.

Oh really liked the Oliver's view, it is interesting to see the crazy duo by a third person's eyes. Still don't get what's wrong with Oliver, seems to me that someone's missed a slap or two when he was younger. I get not having everything you want, bit he admitted, even if only in his mind, that he does it on purpose, trying to stretch it a see until where he can go. Their parents aren't great now, but my guess is that they were overprotective and spoiled him when he was younger, trying to compensate for watching they're other son suffer. It happens, specially when there is such a difference in age and major events occured meanwhile... The parents see that things weren't great to the oldest and then treat the younger very different, so that he will never "get hurt, he is so young"... Sometimes the older can even resent the younger brother fire what he sees as a different treatment, although I don't think Teddy feels that.

I would say you wouldn't kill your main character... But then, you already did it once

Nice chapters... I know he is a kid, but I have some trouble with Oliver right now, in some moments he does sound like a jerk, liking rock doesn't make you a poor suffering soul, he didn't have Ryder's life (I mean, Blake liked rock, even Mike and some of the other jocks). It might be nice for Ryder to interact with other people, maybe he can teach Oliver some things about his mistakes. However he still behaves like a 18year old, even the jokes and happier teasing, he doesn't seem to realise that Teddy is not a teen anymore, even if he still have feelings for Ryder, he is an 30ish responsible adult, that have other things in his life, a job, hope and dreams.

This was a cute love story. Dale and friends were assholes

Wow after more than an year a lots of messed up moments they are finally growing up a little bit. It still feels like they are very few time together, which is weird, I don't mean intimate moment, but just walk around or go to the park as they did today... And by the way, is Sam alive, lol?

He definitely needs more than a dream, but it is good that Jackson and Koi didn't make their friendship awkward, they just had a bit of fun

Another great story! Is there a book 3? It would be interesting to learn how the pack will grow stronger... They need more females, someone for Trey to start, maybe some strays as well, or people unhappy with the Forrest group... And there was the hint of Zef, was he gay as well? If he is, he would probably feel safer in the Timber pack.

Loved the chapter (congrats @Aceinthehole), and love your comment, that's what I felt as well. Liz comment were the best, what you should expect of a fierce friend. She was not fighting against their relationship like Mike did when they were young, she was advising and making Teddy think before any kind of new relationship. I understand why Teddy never moved, and why Oliver wants his brother close, but I still feel that he needs his space, even if he just buy the house next door to his parents. I think he still doesn't know how to be really angry or distant with his mother without behaving a bit childish and pouting. However I was happily surprised by his mother answer, maybe they didn't go completely crazy after all.

Ok it is definitely dangerous but if they appear weak they will probably be bullied more. Fort a second was afraid of the girl and Robbie's hint of heterosexual, but then he set things straight (pun intended). Is Sue, in her "kind of fake"/"passive-aggressive" way, starting to back Robbie again, or she really think they "behave" and sleep separately?

Ok I apologise for the lack of comments in each chapter but I just binge read the whole book. It is a great story, congratulations

Interesting story, it makes our wonder what happened in the boys' life.

Nice chapter, it is cool to be inside Ryder's head and see him starting to be honest with himself. Was right, Nate does have a weak spot for Teddy, and Mike was monitoring the cemetery. Can wait for more from these two, it will be interesting to retrospectively learn about their lives in the last 13 years, as they get to know each other again.

Damn, I can feel Eric desperation! Andy was a bit careless, but it was probably the age gap. I kept wishing he would come back and apologize. Eric does need help, and he didn't make things easy as well (I understand though, beeing older). Btw, I am curious about their actual ages.
