I need to go to Burger King... for May's Mental Illness Awareness Month. It's their "No One Is Happy All The Time," campaign.

Yeah, I was here in the house. But, it's south Tampa. A stiff breeze knocks out our power and internet. Which it did. Thanks, everybody.
-
I'll catch everyone later. It's pouring right now, and lightning all over.
-
Good point. *Makes a note not to mention the same about Wayne*

Thanks, Mac. Not only the previous experience, but this instructor knows what the hell she's doing and has given steps on how to access everything that is required of us. Also, has anyone mention how damn fine you look, lately?

Good day everyone. Tackling school stuff today, and I found something to complain about. You know that accounting/math class I did a couple of classes ago... the one that used that off site program WileyPLUS... Yeah, we're using WileyPLUS again. That's the program that confused the hell out of me. Ugh... But at least, I know what I'm getting into. Already passed one test this week!

That place looks really good. Sleep Well, my Brother. Sweet Dreams.

It's been a good night. I hope you can get some relaxation in.

My uncle told me today that when he was growing up in Tennessee in the 1950s/60s that it was not unheard of to have snow as late as May. So, not surprised that there is snow and cold fronts in some area. Having said that... It's weird that we have people in the same Hemisphere Experiencing snow in one area, and we're down here under a heat advisory because of temp/humidity.

I took most of the morning off today, for a mental break. Decided to fire up a blank word.docx to do a prompt response to #740 - The Elf. Without, thinking or trying to... sitting at 4432-words. I started another fracking story. Le Sigh.

Any time my brother.

When Hurricane Michael hit the panhandle of Florida and trashed everything, there was one beach side house that withstood the winds and rain. Turned out the owners took the local codes, and doubled the required stuff. ex. the stilts were only supposed to be wood, and 15ft deep, they went with concrete and 20ft deep. Better roofing, etc. That's what I would do on any storm shelter, or house, I built. Make it strong enough to withstand a direct nuclear missile attack.

Stay safe!

Also, in Florida if you have a Masters or PhD in Accounting, you're exempt from the CPA test for the licensing.

Exactly. My Freshman year is almost over, but I'm already thinking about getting my Masters of Science in Accounting (would love to get a PhD.). The University of Tampa has a good Masters program, and I've already talked to them. They will take my B.S. of Accounting as an acceptable degree for admittance. That's what matters for me. 🙂

I heard the other day, someone saying that these "Online Schools" are not real schools. I will say now, none of my classes have been fluff courses. Yeah, there's been a couple I questioned why we had to take them, and it turns out it's required by Arizona, but not one has been automatic A's. Essay questions for tests, lots of reading assignments, group projects, some videos (32 in one week!), and the research papers are just as tough as what I had in College 1.0. Everything about college, without being on a campus, and dealing with campus life.

Thanks. 🙂

Thanks, Wayne! I am completely stoked going into this class. Give me a few days, and I'll find something to complain about. LOL

Hello everyone. New class started today! First science course, SCI/220 Human Nutrition. It's a true science course, not a "this is how you're suppose to eat to loose weight." It's more "This is what happens when you eat carbs, how it's broken down, how it affects you body, what it becomes, and the short/long term results." We also transitioned to a new online classroom, using the Blackboard Ultra program. A lot more user friendly.

This was a fantastic poem, my brother. I could see the picture you painted with this. Excellent job.
