    And sorry to clog your comments, but I totally agree with this. The same can be said of Prose for NaNoWriMo. I tried it and stopped after a week. It became a "second job" as they say. Prose of any length should not feel rushed.

    Stunning beautiful. I'm posting before coffee here, but that is how I describe these pieces you wrote. There can be beauty even in the darkest of places, and those are the parts one should grasp on to and thole*. For instance, in your last piece, you talk about hope and joy. Yes, it may only last for a day, or a week, but you have it. That is the beauty, that I see. *Woot! A chance for the word of the day!

    Thanks again for reading, again, JeffreyL. The poem is all me, with a bit of tweaking by @Mikiesboy. It's only those three lines, and it was something I wrote one night with a bout of insomnia. Once I wrote it, I knew I wanted to use it in a story. Go ahead, and use it anyway you want. 🙂 These characters are a blast to write, and "to live" in their world. Part of it is easy, as I live in Tampa, and the places they have been in the story, I've been too.
