Thanks, Mac. It's an interesting course so far. My main issue is this additional program, we're working within this class, which is a completely different setup from my last four classes. This program has our tests, textbook, and assignments for the work during the week. But there are three ways to do the same stuff. We start off with a Diagnostic test and get a foundation of what areas of the chapters we need a better understanding of. The first is a series of study and practice tests section by section on each chapter. The second is the chapters themselves, and that's just straight up reading the chapters. The final is a "learning path" which is the chapters narrated like an audiobook, with videos, and mini-games, to promote learning. We're supposed to do all three. I'm still not sure how people with jobs and families do this stuff. Or, I'm just a sucky student that spends all day on it, while others can do it more efficiently than what I'm doing. I know I'm not that sucky, seeing I have four classes down, an A in each, and sitting with a 4.0 average.

Mental break over. Now to go do work on the normal eClassroom site, because our second one for this course is down for a few hours for service.

Some people are meant to be poets. You're one of them, my Brother. While the scenes you describe are alien to me, I saw them well enough to understand the meaning behind the words. My only issue with Self-Published eBooks is that the market is saturated with low-quality writing and less than ideal standards for formats and editing. Kindle Unlimited is one of the worse scams there is when it comes to authors gaming the system to increase their revenue. EDIT: For the Kindle Scam, see the topic I posted in the Writer's Circle.

Morning everyone. Daily check-in before I dive into this school shit. Don't get me wrong, I like what I'm doing, but this course it turning out harder than I thought it would be. Doesn't help that the learning disability is kicking in with this damn program we're using. The angry reacts, Mike, are not for you, but for the shit that you and tim are going through. And we have idiots down here that want to go that route and charge up to a 70% tax rate to pay for it all.

Good Morning, DiC'ers. Visit to mom went well this morning. Then a trip to.... Target this time. And still didn't find what we were looking for, even though the websites for both Target and Walmart says the item is in the stores. Then my every other day visit with a weight-machine... sore A.F. right now, and they say don't skip leg day. What they don't say is the rest of the day it will hurt to walk. LOL Chicken Soup, bro. Chicken Soup... and lots of virtual hugs.

this is one of those class things, that I'm feeling compeled to share. On assessment #3 our assignment is "for these 15 questions, using what you've learned in class, in your own words explain how your would react to these situations. Must be between 150-300 words each." Question #10, which I just finished was about Dr. Randy Pausch, and "The Last Lecture." Dr. Pausch was dying due to cancer, and he did this lecture that went "viral" in 2007, among the academic world. Oprah had him on her show, to showcase this lecture he did. The question was, "Watch this video, and then explain what your Last Lecture would be." The video is 10 mins long, and frankly, I found it powerful.
